Pretty cool place. The comparisons to Costco are inevitable, so here go: Prices in general seem a tad higher than Costco for bulk food items. A few things are cheaper and the selection is better however. A much better selection of restaurant supply equipment. This includes dispensers, cleaning supplies, flatware, napkins, to-go stuff, bins, buckets, pans, totes, tongs, knives and so forth. Overall this place is geared to restaurateurs, who I'm guessing use it in conjunction with CostCo. Average citizens may find useful things here too however, especially if you're looking for higher quality restaurant-grade material. read more

If you know your prices and quality and don't mind buying in a larger quantity, then this is definitely the place to go because there are some real deals here. You also will want to walk into all their freezers, as there is even more food items behind the doors! Be prepared for being very cold, though, especially in the seafood area. I really like their produce. The cabbage just looked healthier than in other grocery stores. You might pay a little more here and there, but the quality if you can deal with the quantity is worth it. Plus there isn't a membership fee here, and they do take credit cards (it isn't just "cash" and carry). Some deals are marked as "hot sheet" and are on sale. If you need large quantities of something for your pantry, such as baking needs. This is a great place to land a good price. There are only a few employees here usually, but if you need help and find one, they know where everything is and can lead you right to it. Also, they are happy to interrupt whatever they are doing to assist you, which I really appreciate. My only real complaint is that some items are more expensive than other places. But as a counter to that, I must say I have found several things at this store that are cheaper than Costco for the same item and quantity. Overall, I would say you owe it to yourself to stop in and see if they have something you use a lot and stock up here. For instance, we are well into the BBQ season now. We, like many, were members of that other store, but fell in absolute like once we set foot in here (without paying membership fees). Even thru all the silly name changes. We're not necessarily bulk shoppers, but as a big family we get specifics here regularly. Everything from fiber plates, to large loaves of salami/cheese for slicing up. They don't have a ton of ethnic-international products, but what they do have is exactly what we look for, and prices are far better than regular grocery stores. And I'm no doomsday prepper, but my houses will always have 50lb bags of pinto beans and rice in storage....cuz ya jus' nevah' know. Staff are always helpful when needed, but are constantly in motion from stocking to register check out. None of them need a gym membership, haha. Pretty impressive cookware items on their shelves, as well. There are a few of these stores in the Spoke/Cd'A metro, yet we always seem to come to this one on McKinnon. A pretty typical cash and carry but it seems to lack choices. Even though they were well stocked with what they had, I felt that the merchandise I was searching through was in too small a building. Their candy selection was acceptable. Their coffee flavoring selection was good. Their frozen food selection was not very different from a supermarket. They specialize in larger size bags and containers but the price break doesn't seem to be enough to warrant giving up the choices that you get at the local supermarket chain. If you need to buy in bulk, then you will be able to find what you want here, however, make sure that the bargains you are getting are in your favor. The clerks are helpful. The floors are clean. There is adequate parking. If they have what you want, this place will save you a few bucks. read more

I go to the store on Division St in Spokane,WA to get veggies for my kids( bunnies, chickens, ducks & geese). If you go the days they get veggies( Mon, Wed & Fri) they usually have a great selection of nice/fresh veggies. If you go other days they can already be sold out. Been buying there for at least 10 years, church coffee bar and small food service. Have gone there to order our family annual canning supplies for at least the past 8. Went in to order pickling cucumbers and some other veggies in box quantities and was told by their supposed "manager" that the items are not in season and are not available... simple as that. Went over to Winco, probably a half mile away and bought EVERYTHING we need at a lower price! URM for the church from now on and our family and the other families that participate in our even will NEVER return. I realize we're only a couple thousand dollars a year, but with a rude jackwagon that is too lazy to ask someone for help, take your location and place it somewhere in the dark! read more

I stopped here on a whim because I needed to grab a couple groceries real quick. For some reason I thought by the name, it was like a Winco where you bag your own groceries. I was wrong however, this place is reminiscent to a Smart and Final they have these in Northern Cali. It is a store that caters more toward food service industries. They have a lot of bulk food items, huge blocks of cheese, huge cuts of meats, huge sacks of flour, very large cans of canned goods. They have a lot of supplies as well for food service industry like paper products, to go containers, mops, cleaning supplies etc.. They have the floor mats they use in restaurants and other retail settings that are super thick and nice to stand on. I am considering getting some for my kitchen! lol! Unfortunately, this was the wrong place to stop for some quick groceries, but I am glad I stopped in and checked it out! They have a lot of unique stuff and it's a great place to go if you're planning a large party! It's clean and well organized. read more

I have been shopping here for five years ... it was perfect when I owned a restaurant and after the restaurant closed I continued to shop here when I was cooking for fund raisers and special events ... good selection ... staff are very helpful and service is excellent ... I recommend this store to any shopper ... their weekly hot sheet specials are perfect for stocking up ... selection and prices are great ... COME ON DOWN !!!! read more

What I love most about shopping here is the staff. Everyone that is working there are so friendly, eager to help me find things I'm looking for, or get things on a far top shelf.
