I came in to buy a gallon bottle of water but they are empty containers and you fill them up yourself. I passed on that and bottle smaller water bottles in bulk and they were priced just right. Rosaures Pharmacy is super helpful! I arrived with my 9-year-old and a prescription after a frantic search for urgent care. we were cutting it close to their 7 PM closing time. Rachael and Bee (hopefully I spelled their names right!) went above and beyond to get us the antibiotics we needed just before closing. They're amazing and deserve all the praise! read more

So I understand they were having a lot of problems with the hylite water filtration machine inside the store they changed to a different machine . Pretty much taste like tap water straight out of the line for 50 cents a gallon, the water is not the same so I'm not going to buy the water at rosauers anymore I wish I knew where there was another hylite water machine I wish they would have stood behind your product and kept those machines fixed the one in the valley kept breaking down all the time but the one on the South Hill was still working and yeah they took all of them out of the stores. read more

Joseph in the pharmacy is rude. The tall young brown hair service person in the deli rude. In both departments, other employees stood by and did nothing. I think the lady in the pharmacy was embarrassed but said nothing.. there are always people begging at the door. 6 people that day. Wen 17 oct around 430 to 5. Last visit for me. Never will return. This store has got to be the meth head capital of Spokane. Their bathrooms are where people go to smoke drugs and this store does nothing about it. They should enact a policy that bathrooms are for paying customers only.....but no, it seems bathrooms are for injecting/smoking/snorting non-customers only. The bathroom was backed up the other day as people were waiting for someone, clearly not a paying customer, to come out and they left the bathroom filled with smoke and a chemical smell. When people complained employees just said they see it all the time but their hands are tied. Here's an idea. Someone wants the bathroom code, then they have to make a purchase. Something bad is going to happen when some poor kid goes to use the bathroom and encounters a tweaker or encounters the paraphernalia left behind. Rosauers should protect their customers by making some sort of bathroom policy. Actually, people should probably be more scared of all the dogs on ropes than getting jabbed by a stray needle left behind in the bathroom. Although both scenarios are bad...... read more

I have a confession to make, here is how I do my grocery shopping: - Mass commodity items (condiments, canned goods, etc) and produce that organic really doesn't matter for: I purchase at Super Walmart (That's right, I SAID IT. "let he who is without sin cast the first stone") - When I feel like I have too much money or want something incredibly specialized: I go to Huckleberries. - I use Rosauers for: buying the exact same items that Huckleberries carries but on sale/at lower prices (hummus, I'm looking at you), buying meats on sale, buying awesome salsa (again, on sale), tortillas, and yogurt . Yeah, I'm weird, I know. Rosauers fills the niche I give it perfectly, plus it's within walking distance of home. They have some mean sales/markdowns on craft beer from time to time as well! The BEST things about Rosauers, in my opinion: 1) OPEN TILL MIDNIGHT: shop at night without having to dodge crying babies and kids trying to sneak candy into Mom's cart! 2) NO MEMBERSHIP CARDS: Other grocery stores, stop this, it's fucking annoying. A lot of people just give you fake info anyway, also it holds up the line and makes my jumble of keys grow fatter, more bulky, and puts more strain on my ignition. STOP IT. read more

I found my husbands persian doughnuts at Rosauers and was so excited! I went to get them in the morning and they were out so I went a couple mornings later and they were out so I decided to order them for a special occation! They were perfect! So I decided to order them for my husbands birthday and I got 2 day old doughnuts! I'm just curious who orders doughnuts and wants old ones! Just don't get it and had to share! Very basic supermarket, nothing fancy. I would come here to get water, frozen food, canned food, dairy... that kind of stuff. I wouldn't buy fruits, veggies, or meat here. That's just me personally since I try to be as healthy as possible in the areas I can be. They aren't a "specialty" supermarket, so if you're looking for fancy yogurt or something, this isn't the place. Their selection in terms of cosmetics, shampoos, etc., is not extensive, but enough where you'd find something you're looking for. Or at least close enough. The people who work there are nice, and the prices are fair. It is a little "dingy", and with some changes it could be significantly nicer. I think the fluorescent lighting and cheap white shelves make the appearance less appealing. But I do come here frequently when I visit. Maybe not as often since I quit smoking, but it's still nice to have something like this in the area! read more

Somewhat limited selection in this store - it's like it wants to offer fancy stuff (nice cheese! Expansive wine!) but doesn't follow through with any significant choice. Want non-dairy creamer? You're out of luck. A second brand of hummus? Nope. But it gets the job done for basics and for that it's an a-ok store for quick stops and staples. read more

Have shopped at Rosauers for 35 years and a huge reason I do is the customer service. Honestly say I don't believe I have ever had a bad customer service encounter until today. Charles was the clerk who rang me up and he was so rude it was almost as if he had rehearsed the routine. Mumbling under his breath, staring at me when I would ask a question and say nothing, and completely put off when he had to retrieve an item from behind another stand. Next trip I will stand in a longer line to avoid another encounter. read more

The employees here will call you by name and take an interest in getting to know you, the same faces welcome you every time. There is always good sales, quality meats, and produce. They also have products that don't seem to be anywhere else! And yes an eclectic crowd, but certainly nothing to be afraid of. read more

Trans & LGBTQ+ friendly! The 2nd time I picked up my testosterone prescription, Charlene called my legal name to tell me it was ready, then she asked "Do you even want to be called that?" I said no, and she said "What's your name?" **Not what's your nickname, not even preferred name, what's your NAME. I haven't heard anyone at the pharmacy use my legal name since. Now they recognize me, call me by name, and ask how I'm doing. Today the pharmacist, Sarah, even corrected herself with my correct pronouns - I've never told them my pronouns, but she even used they/them, while in general a lot of people assume my pronouns are he/him because of my name (which isn't a bad thing, just super cool). I HIGHLY recommend this location, especially to the LGBTQ+ community. I'm not sure how the other Rosauers locations are, but I know Browne's Addition is great. read more

I shop at Rosauers because the employees are professional, the produce is fresh, and the other shoppers provide entertainment. 1. The employee turnover rate is very slow. The cashiers are always familiar faces. If I was more social, I could probably memorize all their names. The folks at Rosauers are seasoned grocery professionals. This is hard to find. 2. The produce is always amazing. It's good stuff. There is always one seasonal item on sale, and they always have plenty of fresh stuff. The produce area is clean. It's hard to find smashed plums and scattered plastic bags hanging out in the produce section. They run a tight ship. 3. I like observing human behavior at Rosauers. I have seen some amazing things inside and outside of this store. It is a circus. I have been solicited for everything imaginable from people hanging out in front of Rosauers. For me, this grocery store really captures the essence of Spokane. Things have the potential to be great here. However, some mysterious force seems to be derailing all efforts. read more

I really enjoyed shopping at this downtown location. All year long my boyfriend and I and my service animal used this little convenience store for our one stop shop. Staff is extremely friendly. But this weekend I had a not so nice visit to this store. Had their floor manager come up to me and tell me if my "dog" barks to leave my dog in the car the next time I came in, (tell me one that don't ... first of all..) and wanted to argue with me what is considered a service animal, not even knowing why my s.a is with me to begin with, not if it mattered because no business is allowed to ask for written proof of disability or a medical note, any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of my disability. As he is arguing with me about "HIS" definition of a service animal he's also arguing with a woman to leave the store well this woman is also arguing with another customer who must of been some type of relation to her idk ??? I just really found this situation unprofessional I visit frequently and I get it the shoplifters/drug addicts/homeless what ever you want to call them are a lot at times but I honestly think this floor manager had a lot of other things to be worried and to tend to then about me and my "disabilities". I've never had any issues upon any other visits except for this night. So I just decided to exit the store and go to the south hill 14th ave location were I entered with my service animal with no issues . read more

A lot of weirdos, drunks and homeless frequent this Rosauers; It's the Browne's Addition Rosauers, so it is what it is. Pros: 1) Discount meat and poultry (as at all Rosauers) 2) Lottery machine right at the door 3) Best Dry Fly prices when on sale 4) Redbox Cons: 1) Weirdos, drunks and homeless; They actually had to post a policy that shoppers had to leave their reptiles and other strange pets at home vs coiled around their shoulders when shopping. Sometimes the drunk will accost you whilst shopping, particularly if you catch their eye. 2) Very frozen seafood 3) Redbox often has very poor selection due to the plethora of movie watching youths (Spokane Falls CC?). 4) The frequency of store-sanctioned solicitation outside the singular small entrance. I've nothing against scouts and brownies and whatever other national organizations which use children as pushers promoting diabetes and obesity in America, but if you're not offering me a coupon or sizable discount to buy your wares, kid, then realize that market economics would dictate that I'd rather buy my cookies and/or caramel popcorn in the market you're standing in front of - I'm not a captive audience, nor do I particularly like children of people I don't know. I went in here to buy a drink and a couple snacks before a hike. I had never heard of this place before, but it was conveniently located on the way to the trailhead. All of the produce that I looked at was priced much higher than Yoke's or Walmart. They had a decent price on power bars, but many of the items that I observed throughout the store seemed to be higher priced than other stores that I've frequented in the area. read more

I love this rosauers. The workers are friendly and diligent. Their produce is good most of the time and they have a constantly improving selection of quality items. The best part, they are local and they listen to their customers. I have been asked several times what i eat and what i would like to see in the store. It's definitely better than some large corporation that doesn't care about the people in spokane. Try it out!! read more

Deli is one of the best. Baked chicken is delicious always moist and tender cooked to perfection. The deli sandwiches are a great value, the cost substantially less than Safeway and even Subway. Always packed full of meat ! You can't go wrong here. read more

I pretty much only go to Rosauer's on Third because of convenience and the great pharmacy! I live close and find that walking along the messy walkway that always smells is not ok. I thought maybe this mess was temporary but no, it always this way! Hope that changes soon. read more

My husband and I have been here over one hundred times. We lived close by and the hours of operation were good. We chose not to go there after 6pm if we could help it. Too many strange people and occasional pan-handling in the parking lot. The produce is good and the meat. Cramped aisles, rude pharmacy employees, and not the cheapest prices. The most friendly staff was in the meat department. We have since moved out of the area, and we don't miss shopping there. read more
