I've used this Rite Aid for years in the past but have decided to take my business elsewhere. Most of the women who work here are extremely rude, cut you off mid question or conversation and are not helpful at all. I refuse to go somewhere that treats you like you're stupid or that your business and time doesn't matter. After demanding both my regular doctor and my surgeon call to confirm I had surgery that day (and repeatedly not answering the phone once they called because seven people in the pharmacy is not enough.... After meeting every requirement they put in front of me.... the pharmacy manager Cindy G. decided upon herself to cancel my prescription for pain medication because she was not happy with the amounts they authorized. Mind you this person knows zero about my medical history and/or how long I've been taking said meds. So if you like a twenty five year old playing God behind the counter.... If you don't mind small people with big power, deciding you don't need pain meds after major surgery, this is the place for you. PS. As for my other seven prescriptions, and those of close family and friends, they will promptly be transferred to Safeway pharmacy where they don't treat pain patients like criminals. read more

The facility was clean. Staff was nice and make up. During the visit, staff at the registers were sanitizing self serve stations, and shelves fully stocked. This is a great location near the Providence Hospital. We were impressed with the cleanliness! read more

This is for the pharmacy! I have gave them many opportunities knowing they were busy. I have been trying to get the same medication for almost three weeks. At first, I didn't mind the mix up but this is getting rude and lazy. I am told the medication is ready so I come by the next day and am told it will be about an hour. I am not able to wait so I come by the next day to be nice, to be told it won't be ready for another hour. This has happened 5 times now. Still waiting on the same medication the has never been filled over almost three weeks. Just keep being told it will be another hour. The techs are rude. I admit I finally got upset and started to tell the last one I wanted to speak to someone and she turned off her microphone and walked off. Who fills the medications, the pharmacists or the techs because that is where the problem is. I had a different tech each time and they passed the buck and blew it off each time. REVIEW ONLY ABOUT PHARMACY : The Pharmacy tech named Chantel was exceptionally rude to me because some of my insurance info had worn off the card and was hard to read. I tried to find ways to get that info for her but she was adamant that there was no other way. She had me leave. I even called the main doctors office and asked them what I should do and not only did they said she was being ridiculous, they told me the numbers needed were the same as my kids and to look on their cards. So i went back and waited in line and shared with her this news. She was able to enter it right away but said very condescendingly, "Well it worked this time." Then she said it would be at least a half an hour wait even though the doctor had already called it in 1 hour previously, (as I HAD CHECKED). She acted passive aggressively, rude, and unknowledgeable. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS PHARMACY AGAIN. This employee is obviously NOT A PEOPLE PERSON, maybe she should work behind the scenes instead of directly with people (hurting /sick people EVEN MORE SAD.) I might just feel bad about my previous review and that was based on my previous experiences from a number of visits. This is your basic Rite Aid that is fairly new. I have yet to come here without being hassled by folks near the door asking for money. In fact there always seems to be quite a few sketchy folks hanging around. The store itself is nice but again it is fairly new. Also noticed that during inclement weather they don't take care to clean the parking lot of ice. In particular all of the handicap spots on the north side of the building were completely covered in ice on today's visit. read more

Terrible customer service! Waited in line to use the restroom and had multiple employees walk past me and tell me that they were not "on the clock to open it." Then the older cashier upfront was SUPER rude about being too busy cashirring to help us. There were three of them and not one stepped up to assist. Needless to say I left without using the restroom. Online Rx system not working I have used the online system for a very long time to order my Rx. Now it's not working. It will not let me submit the order. Their crack customer service team told me that it only works in IE. A website that only works in one browser and not the most popular one at that?! Whatever. And, it actually doesn't work in that browser either. Super inconvenient now. I also tried to send them feedback via their website but even that doesn't work. It pops up with screen and wants me to sign up for emails, even though I already have an account in order to get my Rx. Seriously messed up system. Worst shopping experience in my life. When I just moved to Spokane I came there to look at their cosmetology products. I was interested in clip-on nails. So I looked at one product didn't like it and put it back. I shopped around more, didn't find anything that I liked and decided to leave. While walking out of the store two guys stopped me (lost prevention team) and said that I had to come with them to the back of the store because supposedly they had footage of me stealing their product. This is what they said I did. I took clip-on nails, broke one nail off and hid it in my purse. Then I tried to walk away with this one nail in my purse. When they searched my purse, obviously they didn't find anything. Who steals ONE NAIL from CHEAP clip-on nails they carry???? I was so shocked and humiliated that I didn't know what to say. They wrote me a warning for stealing a nail that was NOT IN MY PURSE!!!!! This experience showed me that their loss prevention team, well most of them, are bored perverts that just didn't know what to do by the end of the day. Came to this Rite Aid to get the flu vaccine. The pharmacist assistant was not very friendly. The waiting area was so very dirty! Used water cups everywhere, full rubbish can and you could see that the area, including the blood pressure machine has NOT been wiped down in ages! It's only 10:00 am. i come to get my prescription and they said it will be ready in an hour. so I come back almost 2 hrs later, I'm told it's not ready so another 30 min wait. Was told I was Mia informed, which the person who said an hour is the person who actually fills the bottle. I had my doctor appointment, i got a refill on my medication. I called to see if i can pick it up, the lady said sorry we dont have that medicine right now. I then asked "Well what do i do?" She then said "Well cant you wait till tomarrow?" I told her NO i need my medicine. She said well you should have enough for one more day. I was soo annoyed at this point, you are not a doctor..I took my last meds that day, thats why i had my dr appointment that day....She said call tomarrow and we MAY have it, well what if you dont then what? I've been going to this pharmacy for myself & four kids for many many years, as long as I can remember. I can't tell you how many times they seem to run out of the same script every time I go to pick it up & then have to be directed to use a different pharmacy if I want my medication. Also most the staff is professional, however their are a few times now I have been spoken to like a piece of shit when all I'm inquiring about are my scripts? This is a place to call & who deals with my scripts...so..... not sure why they feel it's professional to treat long time customers/any customer that way for no reason at all. After today speaking to a young lady who was very rude I'm not sure I want to deal with this location anymore to be honest. After being hung up on by this same girl before I could ask her name, I then had to call back 2 seconds later to now get a guy who says well idk we have 1,2,3,4,5 girls working here atm. Umm... well how about you ask to see who was the one who was just on phone & rude to a customer, only to be spoken to like dirt again. Do I want to do further business with this particular pharmacy or finally officially switch? Good afternoon, My name is Cheryl Larson, I usually shop at Rite Aid during the day or after work. Although, my daughter was in the emergency room early Monday morning and I decided to go to Rite Aid to pick up snacks and cigarettes. The male cashier asked for Driver's License & after checking my wallet, I realized I left it with my daughter. When I told cashier I would be back he said; Oh! I'm the supervisor on duty, you look over 21, I just need your birthdate please to finish transaction. I thanked him and proceeded to leave. He followed me outside and started whistling at me and asked for my phone number. This is inappropriate behavior. Went to this Rite Aid to get cold medicine. I grabbed what I needed and the counter lady would not sell me the medicine because I forgot my wallet at home. I was treated as if I was tweaker. I was told by the Manager that there was a state law passed I assume that the news would have covered a law banning cold medicine purchase by ID only. read more

Terrible service. Received a prescription for anti-nausea for my wife because she had been throwing up all day. I got in there at 330 and they tell me they can't have it filled until 615. They refused to sell me syringes for my type 1 diabetic daughter because they don't fill her insulin script. This is not a regulated, restricted product. She had everything they could possibly need to see for her to justify being a diabetic. Not only do I not return to this store, I have quit shopping at ALL rite aid stores because of this. This is a wonderful place and the front staff is super sweet and friendly, however, do not under any circumstances get your medications filled here. My poor niece needed some serious pain medication after her wisdom tooth surgery and we had the prescription sent before she went in to surgery. My problem with it isn't that they took so long to fill the prescription rather my problem is that they continuously kept lying about the wait time and being snobby and rude. A full 48 hours later, they finally called me to tell me that her prescription was ready. No apologies no nothing. They just threw it at me and walked away. What a great pharmacy. read more

Unfortunately the new staff members are making it very difficult to continue to shop here. I have had nothing but problems with this Rite-Aid store. I am on scheduled meds and when I refill them, I will call in 1-2 days before I need them. Every time I would go to pick them up and they would need 45 min to refill them even after the time I was to pick them up. They should have been ready. Just today, I called in, the pharmacist said pick it up after 1pm, I was there at 3:30. They were out of stock and said I would have to go out of my way to get them at another store.
