I've been to a lot of Trader Joe's (WA & CA) but this one by Franklin Park is still my favorite. While all Trader Joe's have comparable products and great staff, the employee at this location have gone above and beyond for me multiple times over the years! When I ask for help, I'm priority! They stop what they're doing to help. If they don't know, they get the answer. If the product is gone on the shelf, they head to the back and bring more out immediately or find out when more is expected. Every time I've asked for a product that I can't locate, the employees always help me. I really appreciate the positive attitude! Even when they are super busy, it's always service with a smile. Love Trader Joe's. Solid well priced staples and produce. We cut our bill by about $150-200 by shopping here including some of the lower end grocery stores. The lack of selection is nice and helps us target what we are actually looking for and avoid waste. Prices have gone up a lot less than other stores after pandemic and still a lot of good deals on staples. read more

It's just so small and packed at all times. Yeah, c'mon. It's a Trader Joe's! I'd heard so much about this place that, when we moved just north of Spokane and I found one here, I had to check it out. Well... it's small. I was expecting a huge, warehouse-size store but this one is considerably smaller than expected. They do have a produce section, their famous frozen foods section and a pretty decent wine selection - beers, not so much. It's like one of those organic places with mostly their name-brand stuff. I did find good deals on some things - seasonings, snacks, some wine. FYI - steer clear of the (now priced) "Three-Buck Chuck." The stuff is one step up from the concord grape flavored swill you'd buy by the gallon to get a cheap buzz. The location on the north side of town works out great and the people working there couldn't any friendlier. Yeah, I'll be back. read more

I do the majority of my shopping here ,they have a great selection in general but they're cheese selection offers a great variety and the prices are reasonable and the portions are reasonable for small family's and couples a lot of organic products , as well as interesting things for all the foodies of the world , wine ,beer and liquor selections are good, I probably spend 300$ at least a month here ....The staff as well are very friendly and willing to chase a product down if its not on the shelf ....... read more

I always love a TJs experience and this one did not disappoint. Certainly, the organization is a bit backwards and they could have reorganized the checkout lines, as it is particularly congested with social distancing. Where do I even start?! Holy this place is the best! I mean it, I literally shop here every week to fill most of my needs (the other place is Costco because who doesn't love Costco?!) Things that I suggest you try for on the grab and go selection... ( all salads) Cobb, Mexican, Asian, Southwest bbq.. the list goes on. I have yet to have a salad that I didn't like so that a plus. The prepackaged burritos which includes Apollo chicken, shredded carnita or just straight up bean cheese are bomb (carnitas one of my favorite) In terms on the fruits and veggies- I've always come home with fresh produce and even if it looks a little meh at the register they replace before you leave! I want to commend the staff at North Spokane Trader Joe's for their wonderful staff. I recently did some shopping there and when I went to leave I discovered my car keys were missing. The entire staff including the security guard jumped in to help me locate them. Everyone was helpful and considerate and kind. In the end they found them for me so I could leave. I still remember the very first time we went to a Trader Joe's .. this one btw .. it was such a joy to find things like Naan bread, chicken tikka, vegetarian spring rolls .. veg samosas & all and we went so engrossed in those stuff that completely overlooked what else Trader Joe's had to offer. Then, as it was enevitable, we became a regular .. got the hang of their small yet incredible variety of stuffs and all so good .. from the freshest of the produce to fresh bakes .. juices to pasta sauce .. Indian to Italian .. everything is right up there on the top tier. Service is absolutely fantastic and their return policy, I have heard though never used, is 'no questions asked' which for genuine things is such a bliss. So, before I close this review I would like to come back to my roots - India and the food which is in abundance here. Do, try your hands on the butter chicken with rice, get those vegetable spring rolls, veg masala burger patties, the veg dimsums, garlic naan bread and do not forget the samosa .. chicken or potaoto Also, they have this clarified butter .. (we use it in our cooking, a lot) which we happen to discover one day and trust me it was a joy like no other :) Also, a lot of people like their IPA's like Missions St and all .. so if you are the one who like to try new things .. there is that :) PS - on a QWERTY keyboard 'J' and 'H' are neighbours so be extra careful when you type the name :) .. Perfectly located amongst the big box stores on a busy road, they are right where you need them if you're hungry and want to grab something healthy to eat between meals. I was between places with no time to eat and was able to pop in here for some jicama and truffle dip. I hadn't seen the truffle dip before and was pleasantly surprised to find it at this location. I was waiting in a long line with my little emotional support dog to go into the festive atmosphere at Trader Joe's in Division m about an hour ago this week before Christmas. A worker (manager) asked if my dog was a legally registered service animal - I had to say "no". She was wonderful, though and offered to get my groceries - thankfully, a short list, bag them up & take my debit card to pay! She was super-fast and apologized profusely. I've never met a Trader Joe's I didn't like and this one is no exception. I can't say enough about their store brand products, or the excellence of flowers and most produce. Wine and beer selection is surprisingly comprehensive. Staff are almost universally upbeat and seem to enjoy their daily toil. My one caution would be regarding pre-packaged wraps, sandwiches and salads. I've always found the labels intriguing and promising but the food itself borderline inedible (mushy, bland, wilted etc.). My personal favorite TJ items are: Frozen Orange Chicken, frozen teriyaki chicken, peanut butter, balsamic, unami seasonung, lime-ade, grapefruit juice, mint chip ice cream, cheeses, salamis, those little pots of basil plants and of course the flowers. Beautifully arranged and affordable flowers. Much better than Supermarkets and damn near as good as a florist, especially if you go all out and mix and match. Otherwise you can pick up a little bouquet for around $4 and be the big hero to your significant other. read more

I shop at this location frequently on my lunch breaks and it is always hard to get out of here on time, not because of the staff but because I get side tracked and want to look at everything!!! LOL. I love that the products are healthier options but are also a lot cheaper for some items than any other grocery store (specifically the smoked paprika @ only $2.99 compared to about $10 elsewhere!!!). I love the quirky seasonings, dressings, and snack options that they sell here as well, especially the everything but the elote seasoning! The only complaint that I have is that the majority of shoppers stand in the middle of aisles with their carts but that is nothing against the store itself. They also have flowers and plants for under $10 which is also a STEAL! I never understood what the hype was with TJ's until living closer to one and now I'm hooked! I wish there was a location in the valley so I didn't have to limit my visits to just my lunch breaks but then again that might be bad for my wallet if that were the case lol. read more

I went to the North Spokane Trader Joes to pick up a few things with my four year old. She was throwing an absolute level 10 tantrum as children can. The staff were all so understanding and helpful. I especially want to give a shout out to Heather who helped me out with our bags. From a mother to a mother she was a saint. As I finally got my screaming child into her car seat I heard a knock on my window. It was Heather with a bouquet of flowers assuring me I was a good mother and it happens to the best of us. TJ's has everything my family needs with stand-out quality and reasonable prices. Not so huge a store as to make one feel overwhelmed. Contented and sharp employees look their customers in the eye and actually engage authentically. How refreshing! Today an unplanned trip to Spokane was warranted; an 80 mike trip (1-way) for construction & repair parts for the crew. Though I have an injured foot and am under doctor's orders to stay off it or risk being outfitted with a cast, I was trying to imagine how i might get my hands on some organic lettuce without the limping foot travel. On impulse I phoned the N. division Trader Joe's and explained my predicament. John encouraged me to come ahead; that he'd take care of me. When I arrived John came out, showed me where I could temporarily park, he asked me about the foot injury and when he returned with the lettuce he had my change, a receipt and flowers. He knew my injury situation has been trying & he lifted my spirits with his thoughtfulness. Thank you John. What a positive experience. read more

Every time I am in any location of Trader Joe's I am so happy. I always find something yumderful. Usually it is their seasonal or holiday items. This past Sunday however, it was everything Coffee! I am a coffee connoisseur. Or some may name call Coffee Snob. I just know the kind of coffee I love, dark and rich, even oily. Anyway I have seen so many alternative flours but never coffee. Well now I have. And I thought what would I use it for? They have the answer right on the bag with a recipe for Coffee Truffle Brownies! But my very favorite thing I have become addicted to from here just happened with these incredibly, perfectly delicious Mocha Joe-Joes! love love Also the employees, as I Yelped about a different time are so willing and ready to answer questions and help - enthusiasm in customer service. Have been so blessed to live less than 5 minutes from this place. I have my specific list, know the store really really well, enjoy the pricing compared to where I used to go before I discovered whole foods and love the flyer. I buy the majority of my groceries from here and my 4 year old knows exactly where to get the little carts and lollipops. They have this seasonal candle collection I'm pretty obsessed with too. Super helpful employees and a great location. My number one grocery store shop... I do wish I could get the cauliflower stuffing outside of just at Thanksgiving but I will live. read more

Being from Vancouver, Canada, for a time being the only Trader Joe's that we had was at Pirate Joe's, which shut down about a year ago. Now that I'm in the US, I get the full experience of Trader Joe's ... soooooo awesome. It did not disappoint me, but amazed me with the scope of things that you can get there. Last night my family and I came to pick up some gluten free goodies. I was impressed with the wide selection of items that we can't find any where else. Coffee Cake muffins are crazy good! My 5 year old daughter suddenly had an urgent need to use the restroom. First I was happy to see family restrooms that locked which had toilet, urinal, changing table and 2 different drying stations. What absolutely blew me away was how clean it was. Toilet was literally spotless. The floor, sink and other areas were nearly the same. Literally only some lint on the ground and water in spots on the sink. Hands down the cleanest bathroom I have been in outside of my home. Another great thing was the hilarious animal signs hanging on the walls. It made my daughter and I laugh which we needed. We could not track down a few items and an employee immediately dropped what they were doing to help us. When we went to check out I told the checker beside us how impressed I was and she was so very kind and happy to hear it. I wish I caught her name but she had the bluest eyes I have seen and super cool earrings. My family will definitely be frequenting this store more often. I think many other businesses should take a lesson from this Trader Joe's location on cleanliness and hospitality. Absolutely 100% satisfaction on our visit. Today we went shopping with my little one, when we went to pay, the cashier was very rude and dry, my little one asked her if she could give her a lollipop, she asked if we had found the store's mascot, I didn't know about that, never before they had asked me the name of the mascot of the store. The woman refused to give the lollipop to my child. We go often to buy at that store and I had never had the unpleasant experience of a rude and arrogant cashier, in the end after asking for a the m lollipop more than 5 times the woman named Mia threw the lollipop very rudely on the counter, I spent a lot money in that store every week but because of this bad cashier we won't go for a while. I can't believe people reviewed this store before it opened. I roll my eyes at you. Excellent store, all the usual products. Not the largest, but about the right size for most TJs. Crowded with long lines on opening day (which is today as I write), so unless you really want to be part of the chaos, wait until the weekend is over. (Opening day does, however, have lots of food samples, other freebies, a Hawaiian band and face painting/balloon animals for the kids.) Employees are cheerful and helpful. Parking is kind of awful - for Spokane. It is not Pico-location-in-Santa-Monica awful, but bring your patience and don't be a little bitch about parking up front. read more

Best little quaint grocery store if you need to pick up a few things!!! Store is easy to navigate (they do get busy which can be overwhelming sometimes but you can't get mad at the fact that people shop there) and I love how they do have seasonal items that are a nice surprise! My go-to items are the drinkable yogurts, the sparkling French berry lemonade. I cannot tell you how much I love that lemonade. My boyfriend and I have to get our own because I hate sharing. I also love the assortment of salsas and fresh fruits and veggies!!! I am completely heartbroken that they no longer have the Pickle popcorn. I would buy 4 bags at a time. Nothing will ever compare to it, I have tried. Baby come back to me. But anyway....the check out stands are super cute labeled with the different neighborhoods rather than just a number. A few faves: the fully cooked sirloin roast (whole 30 approved), wild arugula, a variety of fully cooked chicken sausages, soy chorizo, lemony lemon bites, jalapeño limeade, French lavender soap, port salut and Brie selections like no other, and wine deals to rival total wine and more.
