I'm not a fan of natural grocers but I came here because it was just the closest by for some last minute needs. Staff is very friendly however this is like a Whole Foods which means over priced

Am I Too Unsophisticated? I'm all for health food grocery stores, but sometimes they are just too over the top. I mean...maybe I want a cheap soda and not a $5 hibiscus ginger grapefruit drink. And what's with the pill section? Am I at a grocery store or a pharmacy? I'm just having a little fun here. =] It really is a great store. You'll be hard pressed to find fresher produce. That's where the party is at in my book. Have a great shopping trip!

It's a very convenient location for natural grocers. However if they could keep inventory on the shelves I would buy all my groceries here. Every morning I walk over and every morning they were out of burritos. Into weeks they have them. It's gotten to the point where I just assume they don't have anything so I don't even come in here anymore. It's a real shame because they are cheaper than sprouts. Only thing sprouts has over them is the fact that they actually keep their shelves stocked

Lowest prices in town and you know you're getting all natural and organic items. One down side is the staff could be a little friendlier.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday morning, before heading to Coors Field to see an afternoon Rockies game. The market mainly consists of an indoor food court, with indoor and outdoor seating options. The crowd is mostly local. The vibe is casual. For our first visit, we were impressed with the food we got from Izzio Bakery, and the coffee we got from Crema Bodega. I have reviewed these separately.

There are a bunch of different places to check out inside, so everyone can grab exactly what they want and still sit together. Today, I specifically visited Call Your Mother, a Jewish deli, and Izzio Bakery. Atmosphere: Since I went right around the time they opened, the atmosphere was exactly what I needed. It was super laid-back and chill, making it the perfect place to get out of the house for a calm morning. As it gets later into the day and through the weekends, I know it gets very busy, but there is plenty of random seating throughout the hall and even some outdoor spots if you prefer. Parking: Parking is going to be street parking. Make sure you read the signs, but it is usually free. Even when the market is busy, I usually don't have to walk more than a block to get inside. So it is a very convenient location for the RiNo area. Service: The customer service throughout the market is great. At Call Your Mother, the cashier was very sweet, and they even text you when your food is ready. Over at Izzio Bakery, everyone is super kind and helpful while you're looking at their amazing pastry display. Even with a line, you're usually only waiting about 10 to 12 minutes for your items. Food: The food variety here is incredible. I tried the Sun City breakfast bagel sandwich from Call Your Mother and the hot honey was the perfect balance of sweet and spice on a toasted bagel. For a sweet treat, I went to Izzio Bakery for the Dulce de Leche Queen. The pastry case there looks like something out of a movie. The pastry itself was perfectly crisp on the outside with a delicious yellow vanilla cream and cinnamon on the inside. Overall Experience: Overall, I really enjoy coming here and trying new places. It is a fantastic destination for groups or just a solo morning out. Whether you want a savory breakfast bagel sandwich or a beautiful pastry, The Denver Central Market always hits the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more.

He stole them instead and marked the order as delivered. The groceries never arrived, and to make matters worse, customer service handled the situation with absolutely no care. When I reached out for help, I was met with dismissive responses and zero accountability. I was told I'd receive a refund and a confirmation email--neither ever came. At this point, it feels like they're hoping I'll give up and go away. I will instead go through my bank for a refund and file a police report. Groceries are already expensive, and customers deserve better than this kind of careless, inconsiderate treatment. Between the unreliable drivers and the useless customer support, this service has completely lost my trust. You can spend your money elsewhere unless you enjoy paying for items that never show up.

(One day I waited for over 40 minutes just to check out.) Admittedly, most of my friends already made it clear I was crazy for continuing to frequent this store, but I feel pretty damn strongly about supporting the only grocery store in this neighborhood, so I persisted. Nevertheless, it became clear that the Safeway corporation was not respecting these employees by appropriately staffing the store, and I decided I would stop going entirely. Fast forward a few months, and the Safeway employees went on strike. I was pretty encouraged, supported the effort, and hoped for the best. After things were resolved, I decided to give the store a shot again, and pretty quickly it became clear that staffing the registers was still not a priority. Admittedly, I really don't understand how Safeway thinks this is a profitable maneuver--in order to spend money, consumers need to be able to check out. And guess what, if you're buying more than a few items, a self-checkout is not workable. But apparently this is the corporate game. I do want to give a shoutout to the stalwart employees who have persisted despite these tribulations. I'm always happy when I see Terri at the register or Bryan at the meat counter. Employees like them make all the difference here. I just wish they had better support.
