Needed some goodies and water for the hotel stay. Decided to give Natural Grocers a try since I was passing by. Very nice grocery store with a calm and smaller feel to it than what you find at the bigger spots we all know well. This makes for a nicer personal shopping experience. It doesn't hurt that the prices are a tad bit better as well. Floors are clean and sparkly. Shelves are well organized and neatly arranged. The place is spacious and well lit. Lots of parking with easy entrance and exit. Got what I needed, I'm all set.

Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage, Leetsdale Location. Maybe I went here during the weekend. The parking space is filled at a brim and this establishment is indeed jam packed. I want to like this Natural Grocers, due to the Variety of Items that I need, that they sell here. I have been looking for that particular soda, and Natural Grocers sell it. SCORE! All in all though some of the items are higher than I am used to. That recent visit was on Sunday November 17th 2013. May return when needed. Its good when they have items on deals aka ON SALE. That afternoon, the Cashier who handled my transaction name is Dane Judson F. Fortunately at the vitamin cottage I can find all of my favorites and still be vegan, which is always my goal.

Their product lineup looks legit -- lots of supplements, protein, vitamins, and performance stuff…read more-- and it seems like they cater to both serious lifters and regular people just trying to stay healthy. The store also looks clean and well set up from photos, and reviews mention knowledgeable staff, which is always a good sign. I haven't made it in yet, but it's definitely on my list next time I'm in the market for supplements and want to support a local spot instead of ordering online.

The products here are all products I've seen over the years stand the test of time. Brands that try…read moreto reformulate or tweak based on science and feedback. The staff is always attentive at any location I visit and extremely knowledgeable. The price point is on par with purchasing from the brands direct. supplement Giant does a great job marketing by keeping us engaged but not using unrealistic fitness models regurgitating buzz words and pseudo-science. They have actual athletes and local legends to speak to their repertoire of rocket fuels. They don't try to stack cheap shirts and branded things and instead have a tasteful curated select few items allowing us to show our support, which shows me they have integrity and believe in their products. I am anaphylactic allergic to milk and unfortunately allergic to wheat. Those allergies make it difficult to navigate supplements, and I still find options there. At this location Jacob has been exceptionally welcoming and informative in regards to things he can procure if needed, as well as turning me on to products I wasn't aware existed. I do estate gardening/landscaping and am an endurance athlete so, it goes without saying eating can be a full time job, I need supplements to help buy me time between meals and for recovery. I'm so glad to live close to a Supplement Giant again. Thank you so much for your commitment to efficacy and integrity as a business. Thank you for hiring people who seem motivated to help. If I had one wish, it would be for a vegan protein that is strawberry flavored. But, please not pea protein. If you were Santa, I'd ask for a soy-based strawberry vegan protein or a blend. However, I understand supply and demand so, it is what it is. ‍

AgeWellMD - Another wonderful review from a patient who has chosen to AgeWell!

So happy I found AgeWell. The hormone pellet treatment has changed my life. My regular dr said…read moreI'm just getting older.. Basically deal with it. But at AgeWell, I'll be 60 next year but feel 30 for the first time in a long time. I wish I would have found them 10 years ago. My life is back in balance and now the fat is starting to change to muscle. I have now started the peptides - so far I love them. This place isn't a place of healing or medicine at all, but rather a hormone pellet sales lot. I've been having gastrointestinal issues for year, and they convinced me they could help me. However, all they did was scam me. First off by having me get testing done through them, instead of letting my insurance pay for the testing, then all Dr. Hope wanted to do for my stomach was sell me high priced gastrointestinal products that I had already tried, as well as to put me on a bunch of testosterone. She had absolutely no intention of helping me get to the root of my gastrointestinal problems at all. Her main goal is to sell you expensive hormone pellets. She takes pride in spending a whole hour with you but it isn't to help you, it's to try to sell you expensive therapy you most likely don't need. She's a salesperson, not a doctor.

This location has really gone down hill, since my dad died a preventable death on October 18, 2021,…read moreand we used to come here, when I visited my dad from SF & NoVA/DC. The madness/disrespect started in Fall/Winter 2023. In 2022, I had written a previous review, for when it was wonderful here - when I'd befriended employees - as I do at my local Whole Foods in: - Evanston, IL, - San Francisco, CA, - San Jose, CA, - Plano, TX, - Foggy Bottom, DC, - Alexandria, VA, and - Pentagon City/Arlington, VA (all with *ZERO* issues) ...in 2022, I'd befriended Tony & bonded over K95 mask wearing, given my dad died of COVID-related complications, Brice, Ken (re: their Eggnog Shortage, who found me some!), Derek (a chivalrous security guard), Johnny (the produce manager who gave me a flower & helped me learn how to change a tire, ahead of my first solo mountain trip, to Aspen, CO & over Independence Pass - alone, without mobile service), and this was when this location was wonderful, and normal, like all the above locations. In July 2024, however, during my cancer treatment, at a nearby intersection, upon leaving this Whole Foods location, where I had previously spent ~$9K/annually, I was swarmed by 5 scary men, wanting to squeegee my car! I told them "no" - in both English & Spanish! They refused to stop. They refused to listen to my "NO". They refused to listen to & respect women/me. I even called my Spanish mother, Belen, in Sevilla, and she said, "tu si es si, y tu no es no!" And she gave me "un abrazo fuerte". In 2025/2026 the situation totally unraveled: Unfortunately, I met a guy named Marcus - in the produce department. He flirted with me *INCESSANTLY*. Ever since my breakup with my 2024/5 ex-boyfriend Kai,whenever I asked a simple question: "do you have any vine-ripened organic tomatoes?" Since they were either in the back, not yet put out for customers, or they were visually unappealing and rotten, or whatever the case may be, Marcus flirted with me! He'd ask me for a hug. He'd be all touchy feely. He'd put his arm around me. Finally, I caved, and I engaged with him. I used the "Fawn" trauma tactic. But then I started dating a different man, who I later found out cheated on me! During the time, Fall 2025 & into 2026, I avoided Marcus, because I didn't want him flirting with me, hugging and touching me, as I wanted to respect my then boyfriend. However, when it became clear we were breaking up, Marcus flirted with me mercilessly. He'd later even insist on me taking his phone number, even though I told him I didn't want to. This was a set-up. He also asked me to send him videos of myself where he liked to mock me for being "high-maintenance," when I went back to nearby Starbucks after an elderly couple unintentionally spilled my Starbucks in the produce department, when I was politely chatting with them about apple samples they were trying, before a snowboarding trip. Sadly, it became clear that Marcus' intentions were not respectful/honorable of women, our age. So I "pen-tested" him, hacker style, given I work in technology. I threw everything & the kitchen sink at him, to understand his motive. - Was it asking me to send him my Starbucks experiences to laugh at me in the back-room with his fellow employees, mocking customers? - Was his intention sexual, the way he flagrantly told me he had lady friends fly in from out of town, who he met at festivals, working as a DJ, and he would use them for sex, he told me, while flirting with me, and acting like what we had meant something to him? - Did he somehow get off on using & abusing women? - Did he perceive me as a "high-maintenance customer" for asking for vine-ripened tomatoes, i.e., asking him to do his job, and he wanted to sabotage my personal reputation? I was so confused. Ultimately, it became clear. I was later told by a trustworthy woman - from NoVA/DC, that Marcus *IS* in fact a player/user/abuser of women, and he does this to all women: employees & customers. Unfortunately, Marcus told a lie to his manager, who then victim-blamed women/me, for reporting, per usual. My medical provider has documented this retaliation. Keep in mind that women get victim-blamed for reporting in Denver, given NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg funded Denver Mayor Mike Johnston. Just like my 2020 POTUS Candidate, Elizabeth Warren, called out, this exact issue, on the 2020 POTUS Debate stage, yet it's now happening in State & Local politics, sadly & regrettably. Stay away if you want to avoid narcissistic DARVO mind games by both Marcus and his manager, Jeffrey, dragging you in front of CCTV, to humiliate you, and victim-blame you for Marcus' mistakes. Jeffrey was also antisemitic towards my religious beliefs, while I respected his.
