Having a true health partner to tackle life's most important issues is the best thing ever! Not a once-a-year check up. But a true knowledgable medical professional guiding and encouraging me on a weekly basis, with regular measurements showing improvement. Not just yearly labs, but daily, weekly, monthly measurements with quarterly labs to adjust what we are doing as needed. My health is continuing to improve and the way I experience my life has changed for the better. Thank you!

I had been struggling with mold toxicity along with a host of other symptoms and felt truly stuck, but he completely changed that for me. From the very beginning, he listened so well and really took the time to hear my whole story. Prior, I had seen my PCP, an allergist, and had countless visits to urgent care where they all could not find a cause for what I was experiencing, recommending I address "anxiety." On the other hand, NP Yu explained everything in a way I could actually understand, breaking down everything and helping me see the bigger picture of what was going on in my body. He identified the right testing, uncovered clear biological markers, and built a comprehensive plan to address the root issues. For the first time, I felt like I wasn't just being treated for symptoms, I was actually being cared for as a whole person. Because of his guidance, I've experienced dramatic improvements that I never thought were possible, and also genuinely learned so much. What really sets him apart is not just his knowledge, but the way he genuinely cares. I left every appointment feeling heard, understood, hopeful, and supported. If you're on the fence about functional medicine like I once was, I can honestly say NP Yu is the person who can help open that door for you. He's made such a difference in my life, and I'm truly grateful.

He never once dismissed me or rushed me. Demonstrating a true concern for his patients is an attribute of Dr Grover. I had a friend also see Dr Grover regularly and he went into the ER with a health scare. Dr Grover called him on his cell phone and walked asked to talk to the ER doctor on the phone. I have been a client at this clinic for almost 20 years and it saddens me to be leaving this review…read moreand well as to be leaving this clinic. I was seen here recently for an annual physical as I have every year since starting there. I am, fortunately, I very healthy woman, and so my visits are usually only this one time a year. I also happen to be an ER nurse so feel confident in what health questions should be asked, what assessments should be done, and what tests should be ordered during an annual physical. When I called in to make my appointment, I was notified that my former PA, Darren Roth was no longer with the clinic. The turn over rate of this place has been INSANE over the past few years. It is a revolving door of PAs and MDs. It's disappointing because I have had some wonderful doctors and PAs there. So when I called in to make my appointment, it was disappointing to be choosing from someone new again. The doctor enters the room and introduces himself and starts asking me questions. So far, this is all normal outside of the fact that I'm not sitting on the exam table and I'm not in a gown. I chalk this up to maybe people have had complaints about this process, and so they now let patients remain in their clothes during the questioning part of the exam. Fine. The doc then asks me to get on the exam table and listens to my heart and lungs, checks my strength of my arms and legs, pushes on my abdomen, and then tells me to go get my labs drawn. No skin check, no breast exam, no looking in my eyes and ears, no looking in my mouth, no palpating my neck/glands. These should be standard assessments during an annual physical. I ask the doctor if he's going to do a urine analysis, and he says, "you only need to do that if we're testing for STIs. Do you want STIs testing?" There is actually a lot of data about that can be gathered about your health by looking at the urine, primarily kidney function, so his response took me off guard. Now, like I said, I'm pretty healthy, so I just let it go and didn't insist on the urine test, and instead just got my bloodwork. A few days later my bloodwork results come back and I look at them on the portal. One of my lab values was on the high side (my creatinine), but it wasn't outrageously out of the norm. This can be attributed to many things that are generally benign when looking at this test. There are other lab values that correlate to the creatinine that can help determine kidney health and functionality and these lab values were all within the norm. I then get a phone call later from doctor Korneluk saying that, "you have stage 2 kidney disease and need to come back in for more bloodwork and a URINE TEST." First of all, my creatinine was 3/100 of a point above normal. That does NOT mean I have kidney disease! Secondly, if he had ordered a urine analysis like I recommended the first time, I wouldn't have to come back for that. No doctor looking at one abhorrent data point would jump to the conclusion of stage 2 kidney disease. He did tell me that he studied to be a Sports Medicine doctor, so maybe he's new to reading lab work, but calling a patient and using verbiage like "disease and failure" only illicit fear and unnecessary stress. Fortunately, I know enough to know that I am almost certainly NOT experiencing kidney failure and was just dehydrated and possibly in mild rhabdo from playing 5 hours of sand volleyball the night before. So, the exam was terrible, he didn't order the right tests and spent a total of about 7 minutes in the room with me. He used fear mongering language over the phone to tell me I need to come back in to pay for more labs, and then I found out he charged me over $450 for this experience! My insurance only approved to pay for half of that visit because there is NO reason an annual physical should cost that much. As someone who also works in healthcare, it is SO disappointing that this type of thing is happening. I expect providers to hold themselves to a higher standard. Go somewhere else for your primary healthcare.

This place definitely gets a gold star for customer service!!!…read more I was scheduled for what I thought was a bone density exam but the technician was walking me to the lab for bloodwork. I asked I thought this was a bone density exam. After back and forth about the appointment the technician looked up my order and sure enough I was booked in the wrong section. She then proceeded to tell me that they normally don't take walk ins but I can ask. So the technician walked me to the correct office and sure enough I received the same canned statement. I then said I took the day off for this is there a way i can get in? The clerk went to the back and asked a technician and sure enough she said I can get fit in. All in all the procedure took about10 minutes. Way less time than to drive to the appointment and the hassle of figuring it out but it's done and all came out well. And I can't forget to mention about the great valet service I received as well. Top notch!!!

My spouse recently had major surgery at UCHealth Cherry Creek, which was also her very first…read moresurgery and exposure to general anesthesia. While some aspects of her care were excellent, our overall experience was deeply distressing due to the conduct of certain post‑operative nursing staff. First, I want to acknowledge the providers who delivered outstanding care. Dr. Bouchard was excellent: clear, thorough, and compassionate in both pre‑operative and post‑operative communication. The attending resident was likewise excellent, demonstrating strong clinical skill and a respectful bedside manner. These physicians gave us confidence in the procedure and took our concerns seriously. Unfortunately, the quality of care in the post‑operative area did not reflect the same standard. After surgery, my spouse was slow to wake from anesthesia and in excruciating pain. While she was still groggy and doing her best to communicate her pain, one of the nurses was noticeably impatient, dismissive, and appeared focused on the fact that it was near closing time rather than on my spouse's condition. When adjusting the bed, this nurse repeatedly moved the head of the bed up and down very quickly, causing my spouse to scream in pain. There was no apparent attempt to pause, slow down, or modify her approach in response to my spouse's obvious distress. A second nurse was also rude and unhelpful until one of the anesthesiologist helped my wife. At a time when my spouse was barely emerging from anesthesia and struggling with severe pain, this nurse asked, "I don't know what else to do for you, what else is going to help you?" The burden was effectively placed on a post‑operative patient, rather than the nurse using her clinical expertise to assess, problem‑solve, and advocate for appropriate pain management and supportive measures. It was especially alarming that this nurse then suggested that my spouse might need to be transported by ambulance and admitted to a hospital, framed in a way that felt more like a threat or a way to move her out of the recovery area than a thoughtful clinical recommendation. From a patient‑centered care and safety perspective, this experience was unacceptable. My spouse was vulnerable - just out of surgery, in severe pain, and slow to wake from anesthesia, yet she was made to feel like an inconvenience. The tone, rushing, lack of empathy, and apparent prioritization of closing time over patient comfort and safety were completely inconsistent with the standard of compassionate care we expected from UCHealth. If we had known this was how the post‑operative nursing care would be handled, we would have requested a different facility. Patients undergoing major surgery, especially for the first time, deserve nurses who are clinically competent, patient, and empathetic, and who respond to pain and delayed emergence from anesthesia with professionalism and care - not frustration, dismissiveness, or implied pressure to leave because it is near closing time. I would strongly encourage UCHealth to review staffing, training, and culture in the post‑operative area at this location, to ensure that other patients and families do not have to endure the same experience.
