WARNING! READ THIS REVIEW AND BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE AGREEING TO!!…read more I wanted to get a second opinion on a hearing test I had done for tinnitus. Mr. Reiner was recommended. Again, this was for a hearing issue. After the Audiologist completed the test, which doesn't take very long, she escorted me to the waiting room and said "the doctor" will be right with you" After 15 minutes, or so of waiting, I was taken to an exam room, several minutes afterward, Dr. Reiner came in. We had a brief discussion about sleep apnea. He said let me take a look and a couple of minutes later, we're done. Next thing in know.....I'm getting a bill for $491.86!!!! $388.00 of it is for an endoscopy that I never "agreed" to!! The " " are because when I called the billing department, they told me the paperwork I signed authorized them to bill for this procedure! The woman in billing also said she could get a copy of my signature if I wanted her to. REALLY?!? Again!!!! I was there for a hearing test!! Yes, I know......read everything before you sign. And, I agree with that, but when someone goes in for one procedure and gets blind-sided with a bill for another....where's the ethics?? Hopefully, Mr. Reiner isn't being consulted on COVID 19, or the $2tn package about to be passed won't cover his fees. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!

Scheduled for sinus surgery after 5 months of TERRIBLE sinus infections, one after the other. After…read moredoing the surgery, no improvement. Started to get a toothache, so went to the dentist. Ended up that an infected tooth was the cause of my sinus problems. Dr. Reiner should have known this could be the problem and could have at least considered it as I found out later it is VERY COMMON. On top of that, he didn't back me up when the anesthesiologist for my surgery refused to give me any sedation because of my history and COPD, but billed me and my insurance company $839.88, 2 months later, for sedation during my surgery!! So I payed over $1000 out-of-pocket for a surgery that I did not need, and experienced pain and discomfort during the surgery without sedation, but had to pay that bill, the Surgery View Center bill, and Dr. Reiner's bill so my credit would not be ruined.. The anesthesiologist's name is Thomas McGeary.

When GREEDY NONSENSE wins over common sense ---…read more I arrived for my procedure, checked in, and was immediately told I had to pay $1,700 upfront. I explained that I had several recent medical visits (urgent care, ER, MRI, and two spinal injections) that all still needed to be processed by insurance, and I preferred to wait until everything cleared so I'd know the actual amount I owed. The front desk told me I couldn't be seen unless I paid at least half. I repeated that I didn't want to pay an arbitrary amount and then have to fight for a refund that could take weeks. I simply wanted them to bill my insurance and charge me the correct amount afterward -- the way every other facility has done. They refused, so I left. A few minutes later, the same staff member called to say she had "rerun" my insurance and now it showed I only owed around $350, so suddenly that amount was acceptable. Which just proved my point -- it clearly fluctuates. What if they ran it again tomorrow and it showed I owed $0? I had fasted for two days, taken a PTO day, spent money on supplies for the prep, and sacrificed time with my son for absolutely nothing because they insisted on collecting an inaccurate estimate up front. This was incredibly unprofessional and showed zero regard for patients' time, money, or basic dignity. I will be taking my care elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!!!

My doctor referred me to Rocky Mountain GI based on a report I gave her of tarry stools. After 10…read moreweeks of waiting, and a $25 copay I only got to see the physician's assistant, not the physician. After some discussion I realized that my definition of tarry stools and The medical professionals definition are different. My definition was that the toilet paper never gets clean. Although I have constant fatigue my iron levels are normal based on the fact that I take iron supplements however the physician's assistant still recommended and endoscopy and a colonoscopy because I'm anemic. I called twice to talk to the physician and was told that I couldn't speak to God Almighty unless I scheduled another appointment and paid another $25 copay. This is the same place that told my daughter that she had celiacs disease after speaking to her for 10 minutes and later retracted that as well. I don't trust this place. I think they're a racket. When you're only tools a hammer every problem looks like a nail.
