He…read morewas on time for our virtual appointment (actually two minutes early!) and very helpful and informative when helping me with my attention issues. I previously was diagnosed with ADHD in my late teens and have had ongoing attention and focusing issues. With my workload increasing I knew I needed to find a doctor help me regain my balance. I really liked Dr. Bercot's style and approach, helping me understand the dopamine level changes that occur in individuals with ADD and how the proper self-care and medication can help bring this back to natural levels. He also highlighted many of the positive aspects of ADD, such as being empathetic, intuitive, creative, abstract problem solvers, innovative (and the list goes on). If you're in need of a Phychiatrist to help you find the best version of yourself, I strongly encourage you to choose Denver Mind and Wellness.

I had a deeply disappointing and distressing experience with this psychiatrist. After we discussed…read moremy desire to gradually taper off an anti-anxiety medication due to withdrawal symptoms, he sent in a prescription for half the usual dose without warning or explanation. When I called to clarify, he became defensive and abruptly told me he no longer wanted to work with me--leaving me without support mid-treatment. He also brought up a previous prescription from another provider in a way that felt shaming and judgmental, which was especially upsetting given the stigma already surrounding these medications. When I became visibly upset and was crying on the phone, he showed no empathy or concern. Mental health patients deserve providers who can communicate clearly, offer compassion, and act with professionalism--especially in moments of vulnerability. I truly hope he can reflect on this experience, learn from it, and treat future patients with the respect and care they deserve.

He is wonderful at monitoring subtle changes over time and is incredibly warm and reassuring. Popkin is extremely careful in following progress after making a precise diagnosis. He is observant to subtle changes and heads off difficulties very gently and skillfully. He understands the roles and limitations of all pharmaceuticals and importantly, has a very broad understanding of internal medicine so he can rule out non-psychiatric causes of behavior or mental change. My wife can't believe how he has improved our relationship with his steady approach. He literally has improved my outlook and my enjoyment of life dramatically....and certainly my marriage. Dr. Popkin is a regional TREASURE in his field and I can recommend him (as a patient and as an MD) without reservations.

I have (and now had) been a patient of Dr. Stephen Popkin for more than ten (10) years. In short,…read morehe does (and did) not care for my health or well-being. Rather, he cares about his money and his time. He is, in my opinion from my decade long experience of being his patient, greedy and unhelpful. When trying to answer questions about specific medications, he needs to open a book and read about it during our 30 minute sessions when I could always just read about it on my own time and not have to spend an exorbitant amount of money for minutes of his time. He is also constantly late to appointments. I do not suggest having Dr. Popkin as a psychiatrist whatsoever to anyone. Don't waste your money.

I was able to find out so much about myself, my family dynamic, and my life in general with her gentle guidance and encouragement. I would enter her office and immediately relax, knowing I was in good hands and heart. So much of what I learned was inside me the whole time, Inga just held my hand as I looked inside to see what was there to discover. She was the best kind of safety net: strong, unwavering, yet unobtrusive.

I was so drawn to and impacted by how much her technique, the way she educated me about what she was doing that and how much it truly worked for me that I ended up pursuing my yoga therapy license. At first, I would be frustrated in a session... it took a long time to feel grounded for me, but every single time I left I felt like something in me shifted. And i kept going back for years. Inga created this space and atmosphere that always felt like i was coming home. It was welcoming and supportive and her very nature made me feel safe, loved and appreciated. I was so sad when she told me she was moving from the Austin area, but she still continues to influence and inspire me from afar. I would recommend her with zero hesitation for anyone ready to begin this journey of self healing.

Comparing day 1 to final treatment is nearly a night and day difference. We opted to complete the 3-minute (I believe that was the time) version of treatment daily. The time went by quickly, especially since the team was super friendly and would chat with us. I have to give a huge shoutout to Sydney and Grace since we worked with them 99% of the time (along with Dr. Clinch, of course) and they are sincerely the coolest people. Their demeanor is merely icing on the cake to the top notch care provided at Inspire TMS. While treatment is incredible, progress doesn't stop there. You have to actively put in the work to improve your wellbeing. That might be easier said than done, but it seems more and more possible as treatment continues. I'm happy to report that instead of having 6.5 out of 7 bad days a week, my husband is much happier and on average has 1 bad day a week. That's a significant improvement, not just for him, but for the people in his life who care about him (i.e. less worrying for us).

Initially, I was one of the few who did not see results--so Dr. Clinch adjusted, tried other things, and after completing my treatment, I felt like the best version of myself. It's been almost a year since I started my treatment and I still can't stop thinking about it. Pretty sure it saved my life. I'm so grateful.
