One of my first meetings with Dr. Bercot, he pointed out the positives of the situation I was dealing with - which often times are overlooked and people focus solely on the negatives. I cannot recommend Dr. Bercot enough. I too found him a few years ago via Yelp and the rest has been history!

He understands the roles and limitations of all pharmaceuticals and importantly, has a very broad understanding of internal medicine so he can rule out non-psychiatric causes of behavior or mental change. My wife can't believe how he has improved our relationship with his steady approach. He literally has improved my outlook and my enjoyment of life dramatically....and certainly my marriage. When trying to answer questions about specific medications, he needs to open a book and read about it during our 30 minute sessions when I could always just read about it on my own time and not have to spend an exorbitant amount of money for minutes of his time. He is also constantly late to appointments. I do not suggest having Dr. Popkin as a psychiatrist whatsoever to anyone. Don't waste your money.
