It's a shame this place is closing. This is the best place in Denver to get fish oil. My guess is it is related to their supply chain or quality practices keeping it proper temperature and conditions. Every place else I've gotten fish oil from, it's really common to buy something well before it's expiration date that's obviously rancid (gross fish burps, etc). The only way that would happen is if it was transported in a truck that was too hot, or stored improperly, etc. if you order online, and have it delivered to your house, it's even money that your fish oil is a little rancid. Fish oil here was always fresh, never would make you sick or taste rancid. I would make a trip her just to get fish oil and pick up whatever else I needed. read more

Just went to return a protein and they can't do anything for you after 30 days. I recommend getting it off of Amazon you get a better price and they take returns if Protein is rotten. I had my receipt and it was 1 day after and they couldn't help at all. read more

I come here because it's close to work, but every time I do I always wonder why I came back. The staff are all rude, as in "Hey, hows it going" to which the staff will respond with a cold stare. I get it, you work out more than I do. Why does it have to be an unpleasant experience if I know exactly what I'm coming for and all you gotta do is ring me up gym bro and gym chick? I've been coming to this location for years - 3.5 to be exact - ever since I relocated to Denver from WI. It's close-to-home, and I'm still one of those people who like to purchase their supps in person and visit with the folks at the store be it on new product or to ask questions. What I like about VS - and this particular location - is that they don't just hire sales "bros" like many other chains do. What I mean by that is folks who are just their to sell you, and not necessarily help you. Supps can be overwhelming and confusing - the staff here always know their stuff and aren't trying to sell you. They'll even price match if you found a product for less somewhere else. Or help you find the best deal in store on what you're looking for. What else is great is that the VS store brand is safe from banned substances. I compete, and that's HUGE to know you can trust a brand doesn't have any substances that will show up on a drug test and therefore put you at risk. This is a big deal for any competitive athlete. And anyone really. You don't want to be putting random garbage in your body that raise the eyebrows of the folks who actually govern sports. Do you? This is the same reason I've seen a number of Avalanche players at this location stocking up on the store brand of supps - they don't have to worry about banned substances. That's incredibly reassuring - at least to me. Admittedly, I had to ask the store mgr after the players left the store with a boat load of supps - he mentioned exactly that - the store brand is banned substance free so the players use it knowing they can trust it. I walked up to the door at 6pm, there were 3 employees closing, on a Sunday, the lady that actually opened the door and said (with a major attitude), they could get fired for letting you in after 6pm. I did not want to shop, they had out aside an item for me, and I had called 2hours prior, and 15 minutes before they closed asking if someone would be there. They asked me if I wanted a bag, nope, I would want to keep anyone any later than it took to ring up one simple item I was out the door in less than 3minites. This isn't ok customer service. Totally snotty and excessively rude over the phone, if you are trying to get information before going to this location, you're told to come to the store and look for yourself! I am dissatisfied with the service I just received. I place a pickup order just 24 hours ago, and received an email that said it was ready for pickup. I went to go get my order today, and the store said it was closed due to the pandemic but I could see people behind the counter inside. I called the store and the guy there was nothing but rude to me and hung up on me before I could ask about the refund policy. I called back to ask those questions and he proceeded to be rude to me. I just recently moved to Denver! I haven't been in a vitamin shoppe yet. I went to this location and the manager Melissa helped me. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had ! She was able to match me with a good multivitamin and fat burner I was looking for! Will definitely be back soon!! read more

I came in for a preworkout and Melissa helped educate me on 4 different brands and how they will benefit me so I went with the total war. The lady in the review before must have been having a rough day, I know working in my retail position that if a company closes at 6PM and a customer comes up to the door, the access to get in is already locked and we do not allow customers inside so the people working were way more generous than I have seen. Anyways back to my review-customer service was excellent. The guy and girl working were able to assist in price matches that helped me to save some money while I was shopping on a budget! They even have a clearance section in back where the manager walked me back to and showed me better deals on a product I was already looking to get (and almost grabbed at full price!)
