Edited to add: I spoke to Shannon, a manger after this…read moreposting. She was really accusatory and defensive about my original comments. She repeatedly said I was trying to be "malicious" in my leaving an honest comment/review about my experience. She said my review was uncalled for, and went on to treat me disrespectfully on the phone while I just tried to explain what happened. (I'm very anti-confrontational so I felt really anxious by this behavior.) She kept talking over me, around me, making up excuses for everything that I see experienced and made some harsh comments directed at me. When she asked why I didn't address my concerns in the store I told her that HER response in that moment is the exact reason why I didn't say anything. I'm disabled, and in a high stress situation (like she was making it) cognitive challenges tied to my disability are exacerbated. I explained that her belittling me and blatantly accusing me of doing things I didn't do like pulling on my polish for the sake of bad photos, exaggerating, and "being malicious" would have really made the conversion incredibly hard to deal with in person with in person. I told her it was even really hard to deal with it/her even on the phone; her belittling treatment was exactly WHY I did not say anything in person. I also explained again that I filled out their survey and waited weeks for a response. I had tried to give them a chance to contact me before I left a review. Once again she didn't believe me and told me I was malicious. After many, many minutes of feeling like I was being talked down to by an angry parent she finally suggested I come back to another location and try someone else. (Her suggestion, I was not looking for any compensation.) I did, yesterday, and that experience was a BILLION times better. I'll leave a glowing review on that location's page here shortly. Lesson learned... Don't try and leave honest opinions online about this business unless you're prepared to be talked to and treated like a naughty 6 year old, and to esentially be called a liar over and over. Managers need to take responsibility for when things go wrong. Not blame the guest and make up every excuse in the book to cover them up. -I know now they're excuses by the significantly better experience I got from their other location where she did everything above and beyond!

In addition, since covid, every time I get my hair cut - the price has increased for one reason or another and WITHOUT ANY NOTICE and as I check out it always costs more- I am getting the same haircut I have gotten for years, from same stylist, but now it costs $25 more for what? I'm not sure what kind of haircut you can justify $75 dollars for and then want a tip on top of that?

Abbagail was awesome asking my allergies, and explained every time when a product will be applied to my face, the potential effect such as temporary tingling, and offered options based on my needs. I was not greeted when I came in (yes, she was with someone but she didn't even make eye contact with me, nod or acknowledge me in any way). She was very friendly with the girl she was helping but when she went to help me she seemed really cold. No smile, no "how's your day", nothing. It was the same way when I left. She didn't ask me how my service was or invite me back or to re-book. I'm hoping she was just having an off day. That said, my pedicure was absolutely wonderful! My nail tech explained all the services they offer, she did a very relaxed, caring and beautiful pedicure and it's holding up incredibly well. The nail tech was friendly and so sweet. She made me feel like I was getting a pedicure from a friend, not a new stranger. That said, she didn't overdo the conversation. It didn't feel forced or sales-y. We had a great conversation and I will definitely be booking all of my pedicures with her from now on. The price was incredibly reasonable too. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for me. I've already scheduled a facial to try their facial services out and look forward to that. The young woman who did my pedicure also does facials (but unfortunately her schedule didn't work with mine the day I needed it to). I'm hoping I find a second rock star at this place. If the owner would have been more welcoming and grateful for me as a new customer this would have been a perfect 5 star review. Looking forward to coming back next week!

After one of my salon visits I turned around and immediately went to another stylist to see if they could trim up the mess. I am sorry I disagree their reviews, they were not customer friendly and acted as if I was an imposition. After my massage I was able to partake in some of the amenities like the sauna, and shower. One the showers apparently works as a steam room, but I was unable to figure that out. I wasn't aware of the spa hours and stayed past closing time (which I learned after the fact, opppsss!!!!). The staff never said anything and graciously allowed me to finish my spa experience. My only complaint is that the sauna and shower never got hot and there are other spas in town that offer more amenities at a comparable price. That being said, I will return because the staff were honestly amazing.

At check-in, I was told the salon could remove and redo dip, but once I was seated, the technician assigned to me couldn't, so I had to switch to gel. My package also included a full spa pedicure, but what I received was essentially just a polish -- no leg massage, no callus treatment. When I asked about it, I was told the tech had switched me to a gel pedicure, which doesn't include those services. I wasn't informed of the change beforehand. If I had been, I wouldn't have chosen a gel color, because the spa experience was what I had been looking forward to. The dip removal was rough. The tech struggled, my nails were left hacked up, and my tips dissolved in the process. I was told they didn't have the equipment to fix or replace them. After about an hour, I stopped the service because it was clear I'd need to go elsewhere to repair the damage -- an expense of roughly $100 on top of what was supposed to be a relaxing gifted day. The manager did waive the charge for the mani/pedi, but insisted the amount remain as a credit for a future visit rather than refund it. Since the spa day was a gift and I don't hold the original gift card, that credit is of no practical use to me -- and it doesn't offset what I'll spend elsewhere to repair the damage. Their position was that I should have told them ahead of time that I had tips. I did disclose my dip nails at check-in, and I wouldn't expect a nail salon to need advance notice to handle tips. Honestly, the manager's attitude and unwillingness to meaningfully make this right was as distressing to me as the damage to my nails. I won't be returning. If you're booking a facial or massage, you may have a fine experience. For anything nail-related, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
