Clean and beautiful inside. I love that they have a private women's locker room and waiting room. I really enjoyed the steam shower (couldn't figure out how to turn it on) but the girl at the front desk helped me. I was bummed because I booked a smashed here so I could use the sauna and of course it was out of order. But at least they had a steam shower. I got a hot stone massage and feel like they weren't utilized enough. I wasn't a big fan of the person who gave me the massage but I'll be back to try someone else. read more

My spa day was a gift, and the facial and massage were genuinely wonderful -- that part I can't fault. The mani/pedi, however, was another story. I came in with dip nails. At check-in, I was told the salon could remove and redo dip, but once I was seated, the technician assigned to me couldn't, so I had to switch to gel. My package also included a full spa pedicure, but what I received was essentially just a polish -- no leg massage, no callus treatment. When I asked about it, I was told the tech had switched me to a gel pedicure, which doesn't include those services. I wasn't informed of the change beforehand. If I had been, I wouldn't have chosen a gel color, because the spa experience was what I had been looking forward to. The dip removal was rough. The tech struggled, my nails were left hacked up, and my tips dissolved in the process. I was told they didn't have the equipment to fix or replace them. After about an hour, I stopped the service because it was clear I'd need to go elsewhere to repair the damage -- an expense of roughly $100 on top of what was supposed to be a relaxing gifted day. The manager did waive the charge for the mani/pedi, but insisted the amount remain as a credit for a future visit rather than refund it. Since the spa day was a gift and I don't hold the original gift card, that credit is of no practical use to me -- and it doesn't offset what I'll spend elsewhere to repair the damage. Their position was that I should have told them ahead of time that I had tips. I did disclose my dip nails at check-in, and I wouldn't expect a nail salon to need advance notice to handle tips. Honestly, the manager's attitude and unwillingness to meaningfully make this right was as distressing to me as the damage to my nails. I won't be returning. If you're booking a facial or massage, you may have a fine experience. For anything nail-related, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. read more

I got a massage here, and my massage therapist was excellent. She communicated very well was quickly able to determine the areas that needed a therapeutic touch. After my massage I was able to partake in some of the amenities like the sauna, and shower. One the showers apparently works as a steam room, but I was unable to figure that out. I wasn't aware of the spa hours and stayed past closing time (which I learned after the fact, opppsss!!!!). The staff never said anything and graciously allowed me to finish my spa experience. My only complaint is that the sauna and shower never got hot and there are other spas in town that offer more amenities at a comparable price. That being said, I will return because the staff were honestly amazing. read more

Locker room spa atmosphere Let me start by saying this review isn't reflective of the staff. The front desk employees were efficient and friendly. The massage therapist was professional and gave a great massage. This review is solely based on the lack of a "spa" feel. I've been a sporadic customer for years. This was my first visit since they renovated the spa and I was sad to see basic "spa like" amenities were removed. You're no longer handed a robe or sandals, it's now a grab and go off the shelf experience. The women's area no longer has a large curtain for the changing area and only offered two chairs, which isn't conducive for multiple women to sit and put their shoes on. Maybe they're now catering to a younger generation that can stand. There was a tiny, and I mean tiny, area that offered a single seat, with a small curtain, for privacy to change. The two bathrooms were the same as always, and only offered a single hook for a handbag; again no where to hang clothing. I was shocked by the lack of hooks for clothing and lack of consideration for modest guests. I guess they assum women like to parade a'natural and drop our clothing on the floor before putting it in a locker. It had a locker room feel and in no way felt like a luxury spa experience. The new gathering room was also lack luster. The chairs weren't comfortable and most were a challenge to get out of if you were larger or had mobility issues. Don't expect soothing water sounds or a cozy fireplace feel or a "spa" like experience, grab your Sam's club water and prepare to sit on the edge of a drab gray chair. After driving 75 minutes, I was disappointed in the drive through experience and sad it no longer had a full day spa feel. If you you're looking for a good massage without a luxury feel, give it a try...but skip it if you want a full relaxation experience that includes a cozy gathering room and a luxury changing area because it's sadly missing. read more

Just got a massage there & I was in so much pain the whole entire time and could not enjoy myself. I let my therapist know that it hurt, and she told me it needed to be done to relax the muscles. I have been here quite a few times and have recommended to friends and family but I do not think I will anymore. Not only that, my therapist talked the whole entire time. I feel rotten that I don't remember the names of our MTs, but my husband and I had a PHENOMENAL couples massage yesterday! The spa is sanitary, staffed with AMAZINGLY kind people, and it seems apparent that this business is still doing well during the pandemic due to their attention to detail and cleanliness. Locally owned and operated which is a great thing. I have been enjoying the spa for well over 10 years and had one bad experience so far. So I am only going to let the one bad treatment out of so many good ones only put a small dent in mine:). When you book a service try to get a feel for the experience of your service provider. Turnover seems to be high and it shows with my latest appointment. Also they were pretty booked and only had a 30 minute massage to add on to my facial. Who does a 30 minute massage? That is just the warm up for the main course. So I would say plan ahead to get that 60 or 90 minute treatment. Also I do wish they had more packages to chose from with a break in price for the splurge. It's hard to justify a $50+ manicure on top of my $130 facial. But if there was a hot stone treatment and a salt scrub - count me in. read more

Wow. I'm constantly traveling for work and had a lot of stress knots, sore muscles, and dry skin from all the flights and lack of sleep. I scheduled a 90 minute massage and the Ultimate Facial and even with expectations as high as mine were, I was still blown away. The facility is beautiful, truly a zen oasis in the middle of Kingston pike. The staff was friendly and helpful, and all the added amenities before, after, and between devices make this spa a standout. My massage with Katie was fantastic, and I left feeling lighter and ready to take on the week. The highlight of my trip though was my Ultimate Facial with Meg. She was professional but very warm and made sure to figure out what my expectations were for my facial before making suggestions. She took the time to address any questions or concerns I had about my skin (I'm a newb so there were plenty) and I felt completely comfortable the entire time. I had to go straight to an event after and everyone commented how fresh and bright my skin looked! The physical results were amazing, but the confidence boost was priceless. All around it was a fantastic experience in a clean, inviting, and professional setting without any of the intimidation or awkwardness of other spas. Terrible massage. The therapist smelled strongly of cigarettes and only gave me 40 minutes of my 1 hour massage. I thought they were redeemed when the manager credited a full one hour massage back to my account. When I called to rebook, I was told that their prices went up and I could only have a 30 minute massage with my credit. Not happy as this was a Mother's Day gift to me from my husband. read more

I really enjoyed my massage on 1/9/19 and Heather was very good. She got some of my kins out of my shoulders, back and neck....She was easy with me and not hard at all..Others in the past I tell them to be easy since I had shoulders done, surgery. I will be back to see Heather again. Since the place sold , I did notice like new staff and only water in the gathering place, no nut mix..but I am happy to still be a client. I came here for my first pedicure in quite awhile and was very excited. The spa is in a strip mall and doesn't seem that great from the outside, but when you enter you are greeted by a line of black-smocked front desk attendants, who efficiently check you in. The space is modern. I only saw the nail service area, but it was efficiently designed. There were lots of Essie and Opi polishes to choose from. A friend gave me a gift card to use so I decided to go big. I got The Ultimate, "Our most luxurious nail service includes a mineral mask followed by a paraffin treatment. The experience your hands and feet have always dreamed of." A lovely lady named Monica performed my service. She brought me water. Turned my massage chair on. She performed all the steps over the course of an hour and 15 minutes. It was lovely and relaxing. Monica was thorough and asked me how each step was feeling. My feet are human again. While I loved the whole experience, I did find it to be a little expensive. I could not have done it without the gift card. So while I'd love to become a regular, I'm not sure I can. Its Covid, so massages are not recommended, but I woke up with severe neck pain and had a 12 hour drive a head of me. I asked them if they were open and taking clients and what precautions were they taking for COVID? They answered the phone, gave me great rates, and made me very comfortable with their Covid precautions. The massage was great and the masseuse was able to work out the knots in my neck, and even used hot stones for free without me asking as it was really tight and tense. I had the worst massage of my life at this location last night! Raeann is inexperienced and disengaged. She huffed, puffed, and sighed the whole time. It was just bad! I'm not sure if she was tired or just did not want to be there but it made for a bad experience for me. The bad thing is, it was a 90 minute massage, so before halfway through I was contemplating just leaving. Seriously will never go back! $115 and I felt worse than when I walked in. Between the two of them my hair is in the best condition it's ever been in (even when I choose to do wild colors). I have never loved my hair until I started seeing them and I have reach a point I won't let anyone else style it. I love it so much when it came time to choose where my hair and make up for my wedding will get done I set up for a stylist to come and do my make and all my girls hair and make but my hair... my hair will only be done by Gabriel. This was my second spa experience, but first time at Spa Visage. I got a Swedish massage, facial with glycolic peel, and manicure. The atmosphere for this place was great, and there were cookies, nuts, and cucumber water to drink if you got hungry. I also liked the huge wall of Essie nail polishes that had tons of colors to choose from. The services were great, but they are a little pushy with selling their expensive products after you're done. So I've had a handful of Brazilian waxes performed here. Cherri is amazing. The most pleasant experience you can have under the circumstances. On a pain scale 1-10 Cherri keeps it at a 3 for me. I saw Sarah yesterday and it was the worst waxing experience I've had. I'm bruised. My pain level was a 10 for every strip. I needed everything removed and there are strips remaining that I still can't take care of bc of my sensitive skin. I gave the facility 3 stars bc Cherri is the best I've ever had but yesterday with Sarah was a nightmare. read more
