Nationwide special $99 for 2 pair of glasses with no line bifocal . Progressive $50 per eyewear. I made my first visit and appointment at this new location and the staff was helpful and polite. Everyone was abiding by the Covid Protection protocols - including taking your temperature when greeted. As you can see Jeff who originally works in the west valley photobomb my pic, He was delightful rep., very customer service and has a good eye in helping me pick out my glasses . I hope everything works out well with my new specs.

If it were possible to rate Central Phoenix Eye Care (CPEC) 10 STARS, I most certainly would! I…read morecannot say enough good about the attention and caring the staff at CPEC provided to my adult son recently. Sadly, my son has suffered with mental illness for the past 11 years; the illness rendered him homeless over the past two years, resulting to his landing in Phoenix. In June, my son contacted me and let me know he was receiving help for his illness. And, in late July, I had the opportunity to travel to out to Phoenix from Dallas, to see my him and make a best effort to get him some of the things he was in desperate need of. Since my son had been without his eyeglasses since January and since he has always had a very strong eyeglasses prescription, being effectively blind and only seeing blurry images beyond about eight inches in front of his face, that which he needed most was eyeglasses! Because my son's prescription is so strong and because of his apparent mental incapacity, I did not want to take him to a store like America's Best or Lenscrafters, because I believed he warranted an extra level of attention, to achieve the best possible outcome. Well, after a little bit of reading reviews on Yelp* and weighing all options, I decided to give CPEC a call. Since I was only going to be in Phoenix for three days, I was elated when I was told that CPEC had an available appointment the following day. My son and I arrived on-time and were promptly greeted and given the necessary "new patient" forms. While I filled out the forms for my son, he was called to be seen. I was graciously invited to accompany him during the process. The examination technician who saw my son, was friendly and communicative, and when it became necessary for the technician to physically force my son's head and eyeball to be on the exact point it needed to be, in order to achieve the correct imagery, she showed compassion and gentleness in both her tone and touch. Next, my son was examined by Dr. Kelsey Harraghy. Dr. Harraghy above all, was equally compassionate and thorough! She was patient and attentive and, made me feel that my son was in the best of care. Her tone was gentle and caring and her bedside manner impeccable! Dr. Harraghy not only showed sincerity in ensuring my son's prescription was as exact as possible, but she also went the extra mile to find a contacts prescription that would work to give my son eyesight, until his eyeglasses order was completed and ready for pickup. The impact of Dr. Harraghy's caring cannot be overstated and it became apparent when my son placed the contacts in - having his sight restored after seeing only blurry for the previous six plus months - and his countenance as he observed himself in the mirror changed to one of an almost angelic quality. He appeared genuinely childlike and mesmerized at his ability to once again see. Thank you, Dr. Harraghy!! We then sat down to place the order for my son's glasses. Everything was presented with patience and caring and in a very low-pressure manner. From beginning to end, start to finish, CPEC took excellent care to ensure my son was made to feel appreciated and genuinely cared for. I am sincerely grateful for the staff at CPEC for showing my son and I the very best of humanity and kindness. Thank you, CPEC Staff!! I cannot recommend CPEC highly enough. If you are in need of eyecare, you may without hesitation or reservation be comfortable with your decision to visit CPEC. You will not be disappointed! I assure you!! Live Well. Be Well. Cheers!

I had a very unpleasant experience during my glasses/contact lens appointment, specifically with…read moreDr. Abraham. During my visit, I found his communication style to be dismissive and lacking compassion. His demeanor felt very robotic, and several comments came across as rude and inappropriate. While discussing an eye infection, he said, "It's like taking a shower, clean your eyes," which felt condescending rather than helpful or educational. I also shared that I had delayed scheduling my appointment due to financial difficulties. His response was dismissive, stating that it "shouldn't be an excuse." I understand the importance of maintaining eye health, but I expected a healthcare provider to respond with professionalism. When I asked about contact lens options, I was told that a trial pair could not be provided because the brand I currently use was not in stock. I then asked if he could recommend an alternative brand, but he was not willing to discuss other options or provide guidance. The clerk who assisted me with purchasing contacts was much more helpful. He located the brand I currently use, provided a trial pair, and placed an order for the remaining boxes. I was told I would be notified once they arrived for pickup. My appointment was on 6/8, and after not receiving an update, I called the office on 6/23. I was initially told that all the boxes I ordered had already been provided. After I explained the situation and the clerk investigated it further, she was able to confirm that I was still owed additional boxes from my order. Overall, I left the appointment feeling unheard and uncomfortable. While the staff members who helped with my contacts was helpful, my experience with Dr. Abraham was disappointing. I will not be returning or continuing my care at this office. I hope this feedback encourages more compassionate, respectful, and patient-focused communication in the future.
