I've now done two refinances with Lindsay L. The last one was when rates were in the 2% range and she got me the best rate possible. Process was quick and seamless. No hidden costs and she explained everything and how much to the penny everything would cost. No surprises and I feel I got the best rate possible with her. read more

To be fair I worked for this company when there were only a dozen or so people at most. With that said I've moved on to a few interesting careers with Top of the fortune list companies but I enjoyed my time working with Chad and Ron. Given that rates have dropped so much decided to shop around, my rate is already fairly low but to save a few hundred a year is a few hundred. My current lender came very close to meeting Nations Rates but wouldn't budge so I've been working with Colton who unlikely knows I used to work at the company, no BS very easy refinance at a good rate, beat another highly advertised local lender by a dozen basis with no hassel. read more

We worked with Victor & Melissa Salas-Fisher. A little challenging with us being out of state but overall great experience and will recommend to others! read more

Lindsey found us a great rate to refinance my home and the rental. She helped us navigate through the intricacies of refinancing a condo in California, where the rules seem to change every few months. Despite the extremely difficult time with the pandemic, she mustered all services that were necessary to finally close the two mortgages. On the current two properties I got a great rate - so most likely wouldn't refinance. I will definitely work with you when we buy a new property! Thank you! read more

I have used Nations Choice Mortgage twice now for refinancing. They do a great job helping through the process, finding good rates, and gathering the data with electronic tools to facilitate initial application and signatures. Process is quick and trustworthy. No complains other than they only work with certain regions (AZ, CA) and I couldn't use them to refinance my TX property. read more

Victor and Melissa rock! They answered all my questions in a thorough and timely matter. They were a pleasure to work with and I have since recommended them to many family members and colleagues. read more

I worked with Melissa and Victor. I've worked with Melissa before. They were very good. Doing things via email isn't my favorite way to do it, I prefer a full-service web-site like Rocket Mortgage or Better Mortgage. However, the customer service was better at Nation's Choice than at Rocket, and the rates were lower at Nation's Choice than either of the others. Also, doing it via email isn't that much more of a hassle. Especially when you are talking about that much money. And Melissa and Victor were very helpful. read more

My refinance was just completed and the process was made stress free with the wonderful care I received from Lindsay and Bree! They both kept me informed and answered my questions along the way. They were also friendly and professional - I always felt that they were taking extra care to ensure the positive outcome of my refinance. I would recommend my friends and family to work with them! read more

Ron, Melissa, and the team did a great job on our refinance. Everything went smoothly and the communication was great. I highly recommend their team. read more

We worked with Glenn and Melissa and the process was flawless and fast! They were both excellent communicators; we were always given specific information and check lists as well as status updates. I highly recommend this company! read more

Courteous, knowledgeable, pleasant, professional people who made a complex transaction seamless

This was my second refinance with Lindsay L. and Melissa S. They have been excellent at guiding me through the available options and patient with my many many questions. In addition to helping me learn more about the process, they have also advocated for me as a client and been able to get last minute rate drops and application fees refunded. Responses are always quick and courteous. After working with Lindsay and Melissa I have gone from avoiding mortgage refinances like you would a root canal, to feeling like "huh, that wasn't bad at all"! read more

I just completed my second refinance through Glenn O'Toole of Nations Choice, and both times went very smoothly. The rates and closing costs are the best around, and closing the loan was easy, including the process they have set up to do things remotely (easy e-signatures, a team responsive to emails, and a notary that comes to you to obtain the necessary hard copy signatures). I'd definitely go this route again in the future and recommend it to my friends and family. read more

Our refinance went very smoothly. Both Star and Melissa were great to work with. They communicated what they needed, were transparent about the timeline, and ultimately made our refi an easy process from start to finish. read more

Our loan officer Lindsay Lipsky was very professional, detailed and in constant communication with us through the entire process. Her estimated closing costs and closing date were exactly as promised. As a realtor, I've had many clients share with me the challenges they've had with their lenders. There was none of that here. My experience with Nations Choice and Lindsay Lipsky were very enjoyable and I would happily refer them to my friends, family and clients. Thank you Lindsay for such a smooth transaction. read more

Refinancing our mortgage at the beginning of this year could never have been accomplished without Donn Daney's team efforts and willingness to put in the extra effort to meet our numbers and the various deadlines involved. We definitely give Donn & company a 5-star + rating due to the superior customer service that we experienced. We certainly recommend NationsChoice to any who are considering refinancing their mortgage. P. Shack & A. Needham read more

Lindsay, and Melisa both have done a fantastic job in closing escrow on time. They are very helpful, and patient in explaining the various steps. Highly recommended if you are purchasing a home, or looking to refinance. read more

I worked with Brandon & Melissa for probably 4-5 refinances across 5-10yrs. I own several properties, so my situation can be complicated for some lenders. But it's never been a problem for them and they always close on time. Most recently, they completed a cashout refinance on my rental property in the end of Dec 2021. On that specific experience, I checked with Brandon on and off for ~18 months before starting the process in Nov. Throughout that time, replies and updates were timely. Brandon will also give you an honest opinion if paying points or cashing out more sense. In one experience, he refunded my initial deposit after I found a better rate elsewhere. After he reviewed that closing estimate, he could not match it and agreed it was better terms & costs for me. But that new lender did not close on time and updates from them were poor. So I had to re-lock at a higher rate. I have learned from that experience & won't go to that new lender again. With Melissa, communication is excellent too. She backed me up when I notified the Title company to correct a mistake in a recorded document. They took corrective action ASAP after her reply. I've referred Brandon to family & friends and will continue to do so. If I had to say anything negative about the experience, they would be areas beyond their control. They are: 1) Nations Choice can only underwrite in CA & AZ. I wanted to use them for other states, but couldn't. 2) There is no secure website to upload documents, so you need to password protect your document before attaching to email. I want to end by saying you won't go wrong working with these people. If you do your part by providing the documents requested in a timely manner, you can relax and let them take it from there. read more

Victor and his team were easy to work, great communicators, and got me the best deal after I shopped around for refinancing loans. They made the refinance process easy and manageable and answered all of my questions. If I ever need another loan, I will definitely go back to him first! read more

If I could give, I will give zero star. I will give more details, but very terrible experience for me. Unprofessional, no call back and no email back. Never do loan with nationschoice. Completely waste 1000 dollars. If you give application fee and all third party fee, you are stuck and you will lose all money. Never look for Christine Wenger and Sabrina Corkill. All kinds of excuses. Always saying it's HOA problem not their problem. But If you guys are professional enough, you should prepare in advance. They keep asking me pay third party fees enough they told me refinance is free. I request again and again to give me docs which I paid but they keep ignoring my emails and voicemail. And just did a quick search in google. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/finance/nations_choice_mortgage.html More to follow...[very terrible experience] read more

Yuck!!! This company stink. Inexperience and very rude. I have been with them for 50 days and no loan. Declined with a very simple reason which my broker told me any loan agent would know. Delay after delays from the begining to the end. I lost $2K of my own money for inspections, appraisals (2), endless time back and forth... waiting and calls/emails that never get responded. DO NOT go with them. I should have done some research on them before I signed up. ***** 5 STARS The BEST place to Refi!!! This company rocks! Ask for Victor Salas-Fisher... He is great and answered the phone every time we called, whether he was in the office or not. Don't hesitate because you never heard of NationsChoice before. They really set a new standard in professional service. Plus super low closing costs and the best rate we could find...And we really shopped around. This isn't my first refi, but it's the best ever. We were never left wondering what was going on because they were with us every step of the way. And things moved lightning fast. Thank you, Victor & Melissa! read more

My wife and I paid NationsChoice Mortgage a $495 application fee in order to refinance our home loan through them. In short, the process took several months and did not conclude successfully despite the tremendous amount of income reporting and financial solvency that we were asked to deliver. We feel mislead and very frustrated with NationsChoice Mortgage. The lack of professionalism by paying us lipservice, not to mention the waste of time and energy spent could have all been avoided. As NationsChoice has a "Service Guarantee", we requested a refund of our $495 application fee via email in March 2013. To date, we have not received a response or refund from them. What's worse is that my wife and I missed a window of opportunity to lock-in a very low APR. I am so very disappointed with NationsChoice and their egregious business practices. read more

Very quick; very efficient. They were most accommodating when my appraiser screwed up some square footage figures, in that they provided for a review process to correct the appraisal. My agent, Lindsay Lipsky was very available and responsive to all my questions. Good job NationsChoice! read more

Patrick was such a pleasure to meet. At first I was skeptical because my Realtor said don't trust online people and to use his guy. He said his guy knows what he is doing and not to trust somebody from out of state because he won't know the regulations. Not only was my Realtor wrong, patrick from smart loans knew more about the overall process than my Realtor and more importantly all the new regulations that changed. My Realtor was only in it for his own gain. At the end of the day, patrick beat my Realtors rate by 0.75 % and it made a difference of $200 a month. Give this company a chance and they won't disappoint you. After working with patrick from nations choice mortgage, I will always recommend him to any friend or family member. You really get a sense that he genuinely cares and I never met him in person. It was all talking over the phone and sending paperwork via email. If I can give more stars I totally would, and have never said this about any other yelp review I ever left. read more

Glenn and James did an excellent job getting my investment property refinanced. After some shady competitors tried to bait and switch me, Glenn contacted me out of the blue. It turns out Nations Choice was the original lender on this property. Glenn got me a great rate and never waivered on the terms offered. Thanks for getting the deal done!! read more

This is my 3rd mortgage loan (original and 2x refinance) with Nations Choice. Glenn O'Toole was great to work with, very responsive and provided quick answers to all my questions. This is the 3rd time I've used Nation's Choice and every time it has been an outstanding experience! Glenn is a pleasure to work with and is very informative, knowledgeable, and helpful. I hope there are more stars to give. Glenn is always available, returns calls right away, professional and courteous. Great team . Thank you

Severe lack of communication.  A lot of times I had to call them to get an update on what's going on.  Started a loan application and didn't hear from them in about a month.  Oh, I've been sick...sorry.   Sorry you didn't feel well, but don't leave me hanging.   I'm sure you have other people in the office to help.   Out of the blue I'll get a call from a notary.  How about telling me that everything is set and a notary will be calling you?   Did I wire the money to the title company?   Uh, no because no told me to wire money let alone send me the instruction/info to do so.   Yeah, you need to wire "about" X amount of money.  Uh ok, is this amount close enough???  I think they get decent interest rates, but holy crap what a pain in the ass.   I would NOT recommend anyone to them. read more

Used them before and will use them again. Nice to get through and talk to the same person I did a few years ago, and Lindsay Lipsky helped me easily through the process, even giving advice for when to do another refi - as this time I was taking some cash out and bumping my rate up a little as a result. Well done to Lindsay and the team! read more

Would highly recommend! Second time now that I've refied with Glenn O'Toole. Always been an easy, straight forward process. And competitive rates! Would highly recommend. And I would certainly refi through him again. read more

I do not trust Nations Choice Mortgage as the mortgage lender. I first went to Google and Bankrate to contact different lender regarding closing fee and was very close to pay $500 and sign the application with NationsChoice for 30 years fixed Mortgage. However, the rate was still dropping so I decided to waited a few days before proceed with the application. I got a phone call from NationsChoice few days later asking why I haven't signed the document paid the $500. I replied that I need few more days to decide, but the customer representative just hung up the phone with huge force. All I heard was the huge sound like someone throw the phone down, and then the phone just disconnected. I was amazed how unprofessional the company was. I later was thankful for the NationsChoice rep being such a jerk because I could have fallen into the 1% application fee trouble with them. To be fair, I was lucky enough to not to sign any application or documents with them so I do not have the personal contact after the customer rep hang up the phone on me. But if you are planning to do business with Nations Choice Mortgage, be sure to read the RipOffReport and other reviews on the websites. Also make sure to read through the application word by word. People like me usually just look at the first paragraph and sign the whole document, read more

My refi with NationsChoice Mortgage was funded today. By far, of the six-plus refi's I've done in my life time on various properties, this was the easiest facilitated by Joe Garza, Senior Loan Originator. Joe was extremely easy to work with and responsive. Kudo's to NationsChoice for hiring excellent staff to include Joe Garza and Melissa Salas-Fisher, Loan Processor. I would have given 5 stars except for Webcaster which didn't work on any Apple product. I'd suggested maybe upgrading to docusign which would have eliminated the need for using FedEx. Again, kudos to Joe Garza and Melissa Salas-Fisher for a job well done!!!! I'd use NationsChoice Mortgage again without any hesitation at all. read more
