Absolutely the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a service-based company. After working with the company to get information on what they do and what services they provide, the first salesman had lied to me and told me that they were "contracted by the VA" to do the work they were doing. After dealing with this conundrum, I looked them up on LinkedIn. You would think their posts would be about helping veterans if that is what they trully cared about, but no. All of their posts are glazing their salesmen and celebrating their "top producers". I told him I wasn't interested at that exact moment, and was still badgered with calls. They would call during times I was not available, and when respectfully telling him that, he still pushed over the phone and would ignore my protest and roll into an unsolicited sales pitch under the guide of "helping me". I finally had to get stern and tell them they will be contacted when I am ready. Weeks later, I get ANOTHER call with the same tactics. They called during a busy time at work, and I mentioned I had no time to talk. The salesman pushed, demanded I set up a time with them to talk and went into a spiel about them being so eager to "help me" understand my benefits. I had to get extremely stern again and tell him I fully understand, and I will not be forced into their demands and would call them if I MYSELF decided to. The salesman got rude, told me I didn't have to "waste my words" and cut the call. The worst bout of children masquerading as salesmen I have ever had to deal with. I never write reviews, but after my experience, I had to. These guys see you (the veteran) as nothing more than a sale. A dollar sign. Nothing more. read more

I strongly encourage anyone considering MVP Mortgage to do their homework before moving forward. My experience was extremely disappointing and ultimately cost me a real opportunity to refinance at a lower interest rate. I was working with another lender when Brett Bartell (who is presented as having "Diamond Status") convinced me to switch by offering significantly better terms, including a much lower rate and $0 loan origination fees. Based on those representations, I made the decision to move forward with them. From the beginning, I was responsive and submitted all requested documentation promptly. Despite that, the process stalled for weeks with no actual progress. I was repeatedly told that delays were due to the mortgage company not sending the appraisal link needed to proceed. I contacted the mortgage company (United Wholesale Mortgage) directly. They informed me they had never received any appraisal request, documents, or even a loan application on my behalf from MVP Mortgage. This was after nearly three weeks of being given multiple, conflicting explanations. First, that they needed to restart the process and run another hard credit inquiry. Second, Brett was unavailable due to vacation. Then, that an appraisal link had been sent but to the wrong email address. None of these explanations aligned with what the mortgage company confirmed, who btw was extremely difficult to get information from since "they're designed to speak to brokers only" and not directly to the customer. Communication was another major issue. I was unable to reach Brett's direct supervisor despite multiple attempts, and when I did speak with someone, they stated they were not his direct manager. This lack of accountability only added to my concerns. As a result of these delays and misrepresentations, I missed a critical window to lower my rate. Interest rates increased during that time, and I lost the opportunity to refinance under the terms I was originally promised. This has had a significant financial impact. My experience was full of misleading information, lack of transparency, and poor follow-through. I would strongly recommend to find another company to work with. Absolutely horrific company. I get calls 3-4 times per week, no matter how many times I say we're not interested. They left a voicemail - to a known military family - without any identifying information saying "we have urgent news, please call back immediately." I have blocked dozens of their calls, yet they still find a way to reach me. Absolutely relentless and won't take no for an answer. read more

Scammers. DON'T USE They will harrass you until you work with them. I got 20 phone calls in 20 minutes from Daunte. Then once they got their documents, they never called me back. Then 2 and a half and weeks later they called and told me that they can't get the original stuff they offered and now my interest rate and closing cost are all much higher and they need the documents all over again. They are childlike immature unproffessional jerks. It goes all the way up the chain. Daunte, Ben Curran, Mike, and Nate (who is the owner) are all lying and not working under the HUD guidelines. This company needs to be shut down TODAY. Ben even said "Do you think I work for you? I don't!." Before closing, I canceled with them, and tried to work with a different company, they wouldn't cancel or transfer the loan I had with them to the new company. I misssed out on any chance of refinance with anyone else, and my mortgage payment was late due to these clowns. They are not following the HUD laws and they need to be prosecuted for fraud. worst company to deal with ever they are a giant scam. They give you the expectation that you can receive the highest benefit ever get the best deal and then they send you your documents. You get them signed and then a week and a half later they call and tell you that they can't get the original stuff they offered due to something that happened after you signed your papers and now you're interest rates and your closing cost and any other information that you didn't need originally now you need in order to proceed, so yeah don't go with MVP funding.
