I just wanted to take some time to share my experience with Agave Home Loans. My mother had wanted to unlock some of the equity in her home for some time now. However, every company we tried working with in the past would always try to steer her to sell her home instead. Tabyan (our loan officer) was a breath of fresh air; here was someone who did something the others had not - listen. He made sure to talk to and ask probing questions to determine what financial goals she wanted to accomplish with her home. Tabyan then made sure to provide my mother with different options and gave her the room to determine what worked best for her. No pushy sales tactics, no disingenuous intentions; just an individual who understands the meaning of customer service and allowing the customer to make the decision. After agreeing to begin the refinance process, Tabyan was clear and concise with all the different required types of paperwork, information, etc. Whenever my mother had a question, he was there with an answer - and when he did not have an answer, he always provided a time he would get back to us so that he could research it. I would also be remised if I did not also point out the excellent work Ruben (our loan processor) provided as well. There were some irregularities (i.e., not a normal straightforward refi) that could have put the prospect of closing in doubt; however, Ruben was there every step of the way to provide solutions and answers to get the loan done. In the end, Agave helped my mother unlock the equity in her home, while also providing a considerable savings to her monthly payments. I was contacted by Agave Home Loans regarding a home equity loan. I worked with Austin Faciane and Alexa Nenaber. Austin asked us what we were looking to do and I explained we wanted to take an equity loan to do some home improvments. Austin & Alexa were both extremely easy to work with and very pleasant. They answered my unending questions, and every time I called I spoke to one of them. I did not have to leave voice mails and wait for a call back. I was skeptical of a company I had not heard of, and given the current market was very skeptical of the process. Austin outlined how the process would go, so we decided to move forward. My husband and I worked with Jeremy and Nick! We were buying our first home and didn't know a lot, so we had lots of questions. Jeremy and Nick were always available to answer any concerns we had and made the process easy. I would also like to say that we are from Nashville, TN and bought our house near Nashville. The team is based in Arizona, but that wasn't an issue. We were also speaking to a different broker here from Nashville to get the best rate, and Agave Loans offered us a significantly lower total closing costs than the other broker (saved us a couple thousand!). I appreciated that Jeremy was very transparent and provided us with the loan approval and loan estimate quickly and without having to ask for anything. With the other broker, it was difficult to work with and was like pulling teeth to get any paperwork from them. Everything that starts well ends well! We were able to close a couple of days earlier than our original closing date, we were on top of all the necessary paperwork, and everything went fairly smooth. I was very hesitant at first. I got my credit pulled by another lender but they dropped the ball on me. Dustin called me and was very attentive to getting me the best rate.
