The first month not everything was fixed that I had asked for AND extra work was done without my approval. It's still having issues from the work that was done, I cannot go back as this is the 3rd strike. It's just unacceptable. Hopefully things can improve there. Update - October 24, 2026: After privately contacting the owner to clarify my concerns, his only response was a laughing emoji (). I found this response disappointing and unprofessional, particularly given the issues I've experienced with my vehicle. Funny he just wanted to completely dismiss the review altogether. It really shows how fragile their ego is. I'd expect this behavior from a child but it's a grown ss man with a family typing this. John (the owner) shows his behavior is quite embarrassing and is a huge reflection of the shops attitude.

They were good about letting him know his options. Fast forward to modern day, I was in need of rear brakes. I searched on Yelp for places with good reviews and used the project functionality. Transtastic came up on my radar again. Gary quoted me a fair price on Yelp for my rear brakes. My first day off of work, I called Javier to see if they could get me in. Upon arrival, the team quickly pulled my SUV into their garage. Javier did a quick inspection to determine if the dealership diagnostic was accurate. Javier recommended that I service both brakes and was thorough in educating me about why my front brakes also needed to be replaced. I left my vehicle with an estimation of 3 - 4 hours. It was completed in less than 3 hours. By the time, I was walking out the door, Javier was ordering my parts. I was satisfied with his communication and honesty in timeframe. Overall, I felt informed of what was going to take place with my vehicle. While I didn't plan on getting both brakes, I understood that the front ones were heavily rusted as so see with my own eye a few months back. This auto shop doesn't have much of a waiting area but plenty of shopping, eateries and even a library to bide your time nearby. The customer service here was superb and I am happy to use this place to replace my brakes. I easily saved 33% coming here versus the Mazda Dealership.
