One week went buy without a call back. I made a phone call and he told me he would contact me soon. One month went by without any contact. I was considering hiring Wood Kitchen & Bath in Inverness for my total master bathroom remodeling…read more I met with their salesperson Frank at my house. He told me that he will prepare an estimate, but before the plumber would come out, I needed to pay a nonrefundable $500 for all the work he already had did. Having slow business, they skip the payment later and let the plumber come out anyways. I also wanted to replace my pocket door with old French doors of the same size as the original door. That was part of the original estimate. Another person came out with Frank and looked at my bathroom. They insisted that I would buy the vanity from their company as Frank told me that's where they make the money. Stupid comment from his side. The vanity they offered to me as a custom made would have been the same quality of the same item online, but $1,000 more expensive. So, I asked for an estimate without the vanity. They took it out but added $2,000 to the labor. When I asked why I was told it was for the French doors which were already in the original estimate, but because they would cause so much extra work. That's when I knew that they were trying to rip me off. My current contractor is putting those doors in for me for $300. When Frank from Wood Kitchen & Bath asked me why they did not get the job, I told him that he lost my trust! Something to consider hiring this company!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!…read more These guys bought License to Wash from original owner/operator Josh. Josh had ALL 5-star ratings and did a FANTASTIC job cleaning my pool cage are deck. So I called him again when I needed more work done, only to find out he had sold out and moved west. But one of the the new owners, Blaine (brothers Blaine and Ryan bought the business), gave me a quote of $575 to clean my pool cage, pool deck, and the ceiling of the lanai area, or $950 to include the driveway. I chose the pool area items only. I asked him to look at the job, but he said that was not necessary. I waited a month for them to arrive, and when one Ryan showed up he said Blaine did not include the pool deck or the ceiling in the quote. After a while I became frustrated and asked him to just leave off the deck and the ceiling and give me a fair price for the cage only. He dropped the price $50 An insult! Bait and switch in its purest form! He said he would do it for $475 if I paid cash, presumably so they could pocket the money without paying taxes. (I might add that they originally offered to cut my $575 quote to $525 if I would pay cash, presumably for the same reason.) This is the first time I recall being jerked around by a service provider in Ocala. I just noticed that these guys now have a 3.7 Star rating as opposed to the 5 Star rating Josh consistently enjoyed. No wonder. (Read reviews) Their truck also says "Paul's Power Washing". I presume they are one and the same. License to Wash isn't what it used to be. What a shame. I am very frustrated at this juncture. I never write reviews, but this one is your warning: DON'T MESS WITH THESE GUYS!

I appreciated the fact that they are so selective of the staff that they wish to represent their business and I suspect that this is indicative of the reputation and professional services that they offer. I would trust them in a heartbeat. While I was not hired, I clearly understood that my experience was limited and that they simply want their customers to have the very best experience possible.
