I can't say or give enough praise to Chris and Trevor of Kilburn Construction. They are Excellent. Their work in Excellent. We had siding damage due to a leaking outside faucet. Not only did Kilburn Construction repair the Hardy Board and underlying plywood, but they also brought the entire area "up to code." It looks better now than when we purchased our home. Polite, neat, and efficient, they left no trash or debris as they were doing their work. Chris is so knowledgeable he corrected additional problems we acquired from our original builder and gave us solid advice for our future painting project. Trevor was also so very polite and a great worker as well. If truly care about your home and want to maintain it, you need to call Kilburn Construction. Long overdue writing this. Kilburn responded immediately to my inquiry whether they serviced Cottageville, as most contractors did not. He was professional, ordered the siding I needed, installed it and the charge was so reasonable! He even took the time to look at a future project I need done and if I move forward on that, I will certainly be calling him! We Had leak in our roof due to storm damage and had multiple contractors over to give us a quote. Chris was the only one who took the time to explain the entire situation and steps to fix it. On the day of the repair he showed up on time, took pictures at each stage of the repair and then walked me through the pictures and finished product. We were so impressed we had him install a window several months later where his costs exceeded the quote and his response was, "I charge what I quote. Just because there were unforeseen circumstances doesn't mean you pay more." It's very nice to find someone who is so honest and hardworking. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more
