So I wondered a little bit of everything so I got a couple of hotdog Overall, it was OK. I would eat there again, but really would not go out of my It was clean and the staff was nice. Honestly, just a little bit too expensive for a hotdog.

Hand-Battered Chicken Tenders & Hell's Kitchen Burger

If I could give Nathan's more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Every visit just keeps getting better! I usually go for their chicken tenders, which are ridiculously amazing--so fresh, juicy, steaming hot, and packed with flavor! Their fries are great too, and I finally tried their 5-cent hot dog which cost this much only on Thursdays. While Nathan's is known for their iconic hot dogs, their burgers, sandwiches, and chicken are the hidden gems of the menu for me. The service here is also top-notch. There's a manager who walks around checking in on customers and it shows how much they care. They deserve so much respect for how they run the place! Nathan's is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots. The location on Central Park Ave is super convenient, and I'd recommend everyone to branch out and try their less popular items. They're definitely underrated but so worth it!

Found myself on Central Ave the other day and couldn't resist. I grew up on the Nathan's on Central Ave..if your old like me, you remember the big iconic Nathan's with the arcade ( I love that it's pic is still on their place mat along with the other iconic locations like the obvious Conny Island ) Anyway, yes, that location is gone..but this smaller Nathan's did not replace it, it is the same one...it downsized and moved a few feet North..but this is the Original Yonkers Central Ave Nathan's..The food is spot on..and they are very nice there. My server Sharmila was supper sweet!! So if you crave a little throwback, stop in for a classic Hotdog, fries, and down forget their signature lemonade. ENJOY!

The fish tastes extra doughy, and just look at the amount of OIL that's in my plate !!! Good thing the fries are always the bomb. Daaaaammmmn.

Never knew that Nathan's had their own brick and mortar. The place was very clean and welcoming. I ordered a hot dog with fries. The he hotdog was really good and had a great "snap" to it. The fries and onion rings were good as well. I received great service.

I had a taste for a hotdog. I did not know Nathan's have fast food restaurants. There are a variety of foods choices. I ordered a hot dog with sauerkraut, fries, fish sandwich, and a soda. I was amazed how great the fish tasted. The fries were hot and crispy. Nathan's hot dog was delicious. There was a small fork which came with the fries. The service was standard for a fast food restaurant. There were a lot of seating areas and tv was on.

Onion rings. Stuck together and greasy.

Absolutely terrible. Only person in the drive thru when I arrived. Placed order and was told to pull up in front of store. As I was paying 2 more cars pulled up behind me. I pulled up front as instructed. It took them 20 min to bring my order out and I watch 6 cars place orders and leave and no one entered the store through the front. So whyyyyyy did it take so long. I ordered a pound of tenders, small fry, small cheese fry, and a small onion rings. Inside how annoyed I was, after all that wait, and the food was terrible. The tenders and onion rings were so greasy I had to put the tenders on paper when I got home and the onion rings were not edible. Also the onion rings were all clumped together and just gross. Fries needed salt. Had absolutely none on them. And the cheese fries barely had any cheese, just basically in one spot. Also note, they don't serve corn did any longer. I knew I should've taken my money elsewhere.... like Five Guys.

Chili Cheese Dog

Stopped by Nathan's for dinner the other night and it was just OK for me. We ordered two chili cheese dogs, a large fry to split, and the 10 piece corn dog nuggets and took it home. It was just fine for me. I've had Nathan's plenty of times and this time just didn't live up to expectations. The fries seemed to be cooked in old oil and was probably my least favorite part. So many things on the menu looked good and the staff was so nice though so I'd give it another shot and eat at the restaurant next time.

First time actually coming indoors, and I'm glad we did. Its clean, smells good, peaceful, great customer service and did not spoil my childhood memories of the Coney Island original. We had to take our food to go but we're planning to come back. AND YES... I swiped a paper Nathan's hat from a high chair! FYI...no frog legs on this menu.

A friend and I were on a photo walk after visiting the County Center. Just a 7 minute walk away, on a side road before the train station, sits a small hotdog stand/restaurant. Outdoor seating only, but on a nice day, with their music setting the mood, sunlight streaming through the trees and Big Dennis greeting everyone and making conversation? It's the perfect little break. It doesn't hurt that the hot dogs are amazing!

After trying it, it lived up to the hype. They offer a large selection of hot dogs with different toppings and fun combinations. My husband and I both tried the Bernie Mac dog (I got mine with no bacon) and it was so delicious! The Mac and cheese complements the hot dog perfectly and stayed on the hot dog surprisingly well. The tots were also very good! My only complaint is that I wish they had some fun sauces for the tots/fries. We ordered pickup on door dash which was very convenient and ready on time but when we picked it up I did notice the prices were pretty different compared to the menu which isn't the restaurants fault, I'll just make sure to order in person next time. Can't wait to go back again and try more things!

Ownership has changed over the years, but the dogs have remained awesome. I had my first Lou's Dog 35 years ago. For a trust worthy, clean, and fresh dog; if you are in the neighborhood you have to go get one here. My favorite is the chili/cheese dog. The chili is spicy and the cheese comes from a can, but it is great. When I don't want heart burn at 3 AM, I order either the onion dog. or just a plain one with relish and mustard. A suggestion (this applies to any hot dog experience): If you are really hungry, limit yourself to 2 dogs. They are tasty and go down quick, so you may be tempted for a third, but stop...... Let your hunger catch up to your belly. You will soon feel full and will be satisfied. Also a word of caution! [This also applies across the board to any hot dog eating experience.] Eating hot dogs quickly often leads to gulping air which leads to an occasional burp or two (or 3,4,5.....) which may be augmented by the choice of condiments included on the dog. Be conscious of the environment you will be in after you eat any hot dog (for at least an hour... maybe longer...) Nothing is worse than being among a group of people when you have a "dog" burp, this is not too bad in the front seat of a pickup truck with a sweaty buddy who also ate some dogs [this may actually lead to a decent burping contest...] , but in a business meeting it could mean the difference between winning or losing - your choice - you have been warned!!.

That allows the dog to cook through, cook faster and get maximum caramelization. I visited earlier this year on my way to Philadelphia. The mustard was so good, I got a container in my fridge right now. It has a low simmering heat to it. Horseradish maybe? The chili was meaty and well balanced. And of course the hot dog was good. Cool historic place. Officially. Walter's is on the National Register of Historic Places. That's an extra .25 point in my world. 4.75 Stars

We had never tried Korean hotdogs before, so we asked for recommendations from the staff. The young lady and her mother were beyond helpful and took their time explaining the menu and answering all of our questions. Following their recommendations, we ordered a #9 (sausage, cheese, coating, and potatoes), a #2 (mozz cheese), and a small box of chicken. Everything was prepared fairly quickly and was nice and hot when we got it. Again following the recommendations, we sprinkled sugar on the #9, which created an amazing blend of sweet and savory flavors. The chicken had a subtle kick and our little one enjoyed dipping it with ranch, while I enjoyed dipping it with honey mustard. We packed a #9 and some chicken for my father-in-law back at our hotel and he was also impressed and loved the meal! Before we left, the mother went out of her way to make sure we had all the essentials, from utensils to sauces, so my father-in-law could enjoy his meal. Beyond the unbelievably delicious food, we also enjoyed a long chat with the young woman and her mother about the local Korean community and its history. Needless to say, the next time we're even remotely in the area, WE WILL RETURN! It's worth noting that there's not much seating available at the restaurant. The FAR majority of the business they do is takeout, but they did have a couple of stools available for sitting at the front window. When the mother saw we were going to eat at the window, she quickly got us a third stool so we could all sit down. I seriously cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant!!!
