I chose the Chicago dog for this one as it's always my favorite after living in Chicago for some time, I also got it with onion rings which has a delightful golden crisp and crunch for texture. Service was prompt as well and I'm glad it ain't that boiled weeny stuff going on here!! The soot is small but well taken care of and it also makes a great lunch spot! Just know I will be back!! And you should too! Because who doesn't love a great hotdog spot to take off the hunger edge!!

I've had Garden Catering brought into work before, and a coworker suggested I try Reddi Rooster because they liked their version better. I went with "The Little One" -- ¼ lb of Rooster Nuggets, fries and two dipping sauces. I'll have to agree with my coworker on this one! The nuggets and fries were way more flavorful than the Garden Catering version I've had. My order came out fast and fresh, which was perfect since I was trying to get to class on time. The portion was ok for a quick meal, at $8. Good flavor, fresh food, quick service and a great value for a convenient stop. Next time I'll size up!

It's basically a tiny cone of mashed potato, breaded and fried to a crisp, perfect for dipping in all kinds of sauces. There's nothing not to love about these, and I enjoyed eating way too many of them thoroughly. We also enjoyed their tuna melt, a chicken parm sandwich, as well as a turkey club sort of thing, and chicken nuggets for my little ones. Honestly though? It's all about the cones. for me.

Another Wilton eatery I've been to that I haven't really gotten around to reviewing, so I guess…read moretoday was Press Burger's time because why not? This immediately caught my attention because this was the place that replaced Tom E Toes after it closed its doors back in 2020. Honestly, while I do miss Tom E Toes, I am glad this was the restaurant that took its place. It's basically your next step up from fast food, but the beef here has always been good whenever I've ordered from them. The people working there are always nice and will answer any questions I might have. It's also a very convenient place for those who are spending their day here in Wilton. My visits here have been almost exclusively while I was going to or from work. I usually pay quite a bit when I come here because I customize my meals, but that's part of the charm I've come to love about this place. It also helps that my customizations always make my meals from here extremely filling. For example, my burger today was a Build Your Own Golden Style Double (Golden Style meaning it is mustard grilled) with cheddar, bacon, cheese sauce, crunchy onions, chips, and BBQ Aioli, and my fries were Bacon Cheese Fries toasted in K-Town Sauce. May I just say that these were both yummy and satisfying! One thing I should note since I am looking at my receipt as I am writing this review, this is the first restaurant in the state that uses Zero Acre Farms Oil in 90% of its food prep and has been doing so for over 2 years (January 2024 was when they started this). I don't come often, but I will continue to come here as an option whenever the need arises for a good burger in Wilton.

We've lost count of how many times we were kept waiting for extended periods even though we placed our mobile orders ahead of time. Today was no exception after placing another mobile order. We arrived after the designated pickup time only to find that an item was either missing or incorrect AGAIN. By mentioning our issue to employees, I would expect them to check on the status and prioritize our order ahead of those arriving after us; but unfortunately they don't and continue down the tunnel vision path of preparing orders while ignoring missed orders. As we waited for our food, we watched a stream of customers come, place their orders, get their food and leave before us. After 40 minutes and numerous attempts to get employees' attention, we're basically the last ones left to get our missing sandwich. This place consistently falls short every time we visit at noon. We've vowed never to visit this place again at noon.

I tried the double patty Hatch burger with fries, and I have to say, the burger pretty much melted in my mouth :-) Very juicy and very well made. The fries I don't remember as much, as my focus was on the burger. The person at the counter shared that this shop was owned by the same folks who own Wave Hill, which is right next door to them, another place which has great bread and pastries , but that's another review. Prices are steep, but with gas running at $5.59 a gallon, I don't blame them. Nice place, if you are craving burgers and hot dogs.

We put their name in all of the promotional postings and had a couple hundred people to feed that afternoon. Our first session began at noon - NO TRUCK, not answering calls. We had to ORDER PIZZA DELIVERY for all of the people who were expecting to enjoy lunch. We finally reached them and were told that they'd come around 3pm - when our second session began. Truck gets there around 3 and we explain to them that all attendees are out on the trails (it's an annual hiking/beer tasting event) but would start coming back to the main area in 30-40 minutes. Around 3:30, they start packing up and complaining that no one is there - even though tons of cars were lining our long driveway. THEN THEY LEAVE. Our executive director literally stood in front of their truck begging them to stay but they were out of there. People start coming off of the trails minutes later (a little buzzed and super hungry) wondering where the food was. And we have to ORDER PIZZA DELIVERY AGAIN. It was such an amazing day at Woodcock Nature Center - rain held off, awesome live music down by the pond, kids playing games and enjoying the playground and animals, adults knocking back some local craft brews..... but Cowabunga left the organizers feeling super stressed and incredibly pissed. Thanks for nothing. Food truck fail.
