This location gets extremely busy around noon and the staff is ill-equipped to handle the spike in customer volume. We've lost count of how many times we were kept waiting for extended periods even though we placed our mobile orders ahead of time. Today was no exception after placing another mobile order. We arrived after the designated pickup time only to find that an item was either missing or incorrect AGAIN. By mentioning our issue to employees, I would expect them to check on the status and prioritize our order ahead of those arriving after us; but unfortunately they don't and continue down the tunnel vision path of preparing orders while ignoring missed orders. As we waited for our food, we watched a stream of customers come, place their orders, get their food and leave before us. After 40 minutes and numerous attempts to get employees' attention, we're basically the last ones left to get our missing sandwich. This place consistently falls short every time we visit at noon. I just tried the " New Hot Italian Sub" at JM's Riverside,CT.. Absolutely Delicious.. !!!! I very much recommend it for all of you to try.. (a limited intro,reasonable price) .. a very Fresh Roll and the inside Italian ingredients of grilled onions, peppers provolone and cold cuts covered in a delicious relish cannot be missed.. Came here on lunch, full disclosure I ordered ahead so I didn't have much time in the actually location. But from I quickly saw it was clean and wasn't busy at lunch time at all. The pick up process was a breeze, you pick up at the front register, the food is kept behind the counter for safe keeping. :-) I ordered the #16 Chicken Philly, added pickles and lettuce giant size toasted Rosemary Parmesan bread. It came to $20.66 with tax, pretty pricey for a sandwich. However, it was delicious everything on the sandwich complimented each other, it was one of the top fast-food sandwiches I've had to date. I will definitely be back, especially since my credit card has a current offer for $5 off per visit on 2 visits. LOL (don't judge me) Also, incase anyone is interested in that card and that perk. Never had a Jersey Mike's before. Honestly, I don't know why o don't see more of these. Initially I thought the price was high for a giant (pause). But, this spot reminds me of sub shops of ol'. Took me back to my childhood with Blimpees. The cold cuts are actually cut for your order like you are at a neighborhood deli. The staff @ this location were friendly, laughing and joking. They even educated me on the fact that the sandwich we ordered did not come with the standard condiments and I should be sure to ask for them next time. After having frequented this JM location 3 times I can say with confidence that it is by far the worst location that I've ever been to...and I've been to over 15 of them. Service is always slow, regardless of the number of customers, and items I've ordered have always been made sloppy or the staff has been stingy on ingredients. That and I've watched other's orders made wrong and customers told that the only bread left was hard (i.e. stale). During my most recent visit, they were (once again) out of the bread I requested and (after waiting 10-15 minutes) I was informed that the item I order had been made wrong so they had to remake it. Would give it a zero but it won't let me. Refused to sell me a half a hot sandwich I didn't want a whole one I wasn't that hungry. I'm a trucker and it's hard to find spots to eat and when we do and get this, it just doesn't make sense. What happened to the customer is right especially if the customer is paying. The employees and management do not follow COVID health protocols here. Only 1out of the 5 employees wore a mask the right way (covering the nose). The rest (all making sandwiches) had it barely covering their mouths and their noses were not covered. I understand wearing a mask the proper way is not comfortable - but if you work in food services, it's a non negotiable. read more

I want to say that i am generally a big fan of Jersey Mike's. Unfortunately, August 31 was a bust. I have been to JMs around the country and love the sandwiches. My go to are the Philly Cheese and Original Italian. This day, we were heading to Tod's Point to catch the sunset. I ordered a giant Philly with extra peppers and onions. The sandwich was dry, the steak over cooked, the cheese barely noticeable, even the bread was stale. The sandwich was inedible. If I was in the shop it would have gone right back. We've got some bad, then some good, then some more not so good. The two times I've ordered Uber Eats from this place in the last 4 weeks there have been missing items. First, sandwich toppings. Second, 5+ bags of chips. I drove to the location and told them. The manager did just what he should have and gave us our chips plus 4 cookies and a brownie. Nice. I was in the store waiting for my sandwiches when an employee walked from around the counter to ask a manager who was leaving a question. The employee asked what to do about an online order that included portobello mushrooms when it became apparent they were out of them. The manager told him to use a different kind of mushroom but charge them for the more expensive mushrooms. He proceeded to explain that this was a common occurrence to the employee in order for their General Manager to cut down on food cost. On top of this the sandwiches are expensive. I am paying for a specific product and now there is the chance they are simply going to substitute less expensive ingredients? went there for the first time a little while ago and that will be my last. Got the #17. Bread was soggy and not really a sub. Small. They were really short on the beef and what was there was burnt. Very little on the onions, etc. Get this sub at a location in Stamford and the sub is twice the size for the same money and the beef and filling is falling out of the bread there is so much of it. very disappointed for almost $20.00 Never go back. read more

Friends rave about this place. What am I missing? Well, it doesn't help that they got the order wrong, unless their chicken is deli sliced and dark brown. The bread didn't stand up to the filling . . . soggy. All I could taste was the peppers, which were OK, but it wasn't a pepper sandwich. Can't imagine the disorder if the place had been busy. Never again! I went on a whim cause I had a coupon for $2 off. Service was at best unorganized. They proceeded to make sandwiches for 4 different people while the person ahead waited to get rung up.
