Inside, it is exactly what you would expect from a classic mom and pop Italian deli. Small, warm, welcoming, decently lit, and clean. They also have a huge menu with tons of options, not even counting everything available at the deli counter. I took my time looking over the menu and the staff was patient while I decided. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese with black pepper on a wedge and a bacon, egg, and cheese lightly toasted on white bread. The wedge was the highlight. Big portion, very filling, and everything tasted fresh and high quality. It was cooked and put together really well. My only small critique is that the bread was very soft and the eggs were falling out a bit, but I also did not ask for it toasted so that may be on me. The bacon, egg, and cheese on white bread was good as well. The only downside was that it was very lightly toasted, almost not toasted at all, and it used bacon pieces instead of strips. Overall, this is an excellent local deli with quality food, generous portions, and a welcoming feel. I would definitely recommend stopping by, and I will absolutely be back.

I believe it was the owner and another employee working and they could not have been more friendly. Immediately giving us free samples of the mozzarella that they make fresh daily which was DELICIOUS. We got some frozen lobster ravioli and sauce to go and the owner was nice enough to prep and bag of ice and package it for us as we weren't going to be back home for a few hours. Made it last night and it was so good. Our standards are high as we live in arguably the best food city in the world. This spot was epic and I wish we had one more accessibly in the city. Also lol @ the guy pissed about the ambiance. What are you expecting? This place is authentic and I'm happy to see a traditional Italian deli staying true to its roots.

I cut my teeth in Italian delis in the 1970's slinging sandwiches, making sausage & mozzarella so these joints hold a warm spot in my heart. And Corbos does it well. The flavors are generally good yet they cut corners with some of the cold cuts and use the cheap stuff. Some may not notice but I do. I understand the economics of food business, I owned two Manhattan restaurants for 20 years. What I learned there as owner & chef is people notice when you "cheap out". It's never worth it to offer lesser quality goods people do notice. So charge what you need to & get the better brands. You never loose in business when you give the customer your best.
