Still have to pay to watch that nonsense. Even gave all the kids a trophy one time for ZERO reasons. It was supposed to be a championship I guess but not enough kids. So there were no winners or losers and they didnt even keep score. When they did keep score it was never correct. Scorers on sidelines were hanging out and not watching the games. Took away the saturday games to play another league that we had to pay to play in. They said they needed 10 kids. I assumed it was for 2 teams, but it was for 1 team. Bball masters charged $150 per kid but the actual cost for league was $130 PER TEAM. Sweet $1400 and it cost them nothing as they used the coach that would have been coaching on Saturday. We still had to pay full price for the month even without Saturdays. Then half the kids rode the bench 90% of the game. I asked the coach why and he said its to win games and put best lineup in. (Complete BS. The best kids were on the bench the whole game.) We were down by 20 pts the whole game. The kids on the bench were WAY better then those on court. But it shouldnt be like that for a league like this. Every kid should have had equal time playing. Zamira (The owner) called me immediately after I called the coach out on his lies (I told him it was a BS answer, which got my kid kicked out of the league. THANK GOD!) She then told me the truth. It was because the kids that had been with them the longest get to play the whole game and the newer kids needed to watch them as they hadnt competed before. (I guess every single Saturday for months didnt count apparently) Had nothing to do with winning or competing. The other teams were rotating their whole team during the game. They did not need 10 kids. It was just $750 in her pocket. There was at least 3 coaches when my kid started and when he left there was only 1. Just a real crap show over there! GO ANYWHERE BUT THERE!!

I do think they could have better signage to find your seats. Also, one MAJOR and honestly ridiculous issue: there are two GA areas that are sold as one: one is the pit right in front of the stage, and the other is at the verrrryyyy back of the venue, even behind the seats. What they don't tell you on your ticket or at all is that the front one is first-come first-served and once they run out of wristbands, anyone with a GA ticket is sent to the back. I had no idea about this. We came straight from work, and I went inside while my husband parked the car and got a wristband and the process was explained to me. I tried to show the tickets to get one for my husband so he wouldn't be stuck in the back, and they wouldn't give it to me. I called him and he ended up sprinting and getting one of the last wristbands. Nobody should pay for (and look forward to) up close and personal pit tickets, only to end up in the farthest seats in the venue. Especially with no communication about how it works. This is beyond infuriating and makes absolutely no sense. They should just sell two separate GA sections.

We rented a…read moreparking space in a local family's driveway in a nearby neighborhood and thought we could walk to the stadium, but the police on the street directed us towards a nearby casino where school buses were shuttling people to the stadium. It was quick and efficient with buses coming one after another and their own designated traffic lane. The view from level 3 was still so clear and easy to see the players, finding our way to our section was easy with all the signage and staff around to guide you, and getting into and out of the stadium was somehow very smooth and efficient despite the nearly 70k people. Water bottles were $6 and a beer was $20, crazy prices but expected for an event like this. The stadium and staff can definitely handle a large scale event like the World Cup. The hardest part was the traffic after the event which is expected with that many people in one area. Overall had a blast!

They had 3 drop off locations which are nowhere near the stadium, They weren't giving free water to spectators like they did in Boston. Miami is hotter and more humid than Boston. The staff are less friendly. We were here for the Norway vs England quarter final match. There were fans who didn't pay for category 1 tickets but had the audacity to sit in the 100 sections! Nobody was checking tickets. There's a lot of food options at each section. There are no restaurants right outside the stadium. The stadium is also open and no shade from the sun unless you're in the nosebleed section. Around the stadium is the fan zone. We got our free souvenirs: bracelets from Bank of America, Coke cups from the Coke stands, and cups from Michelob. There was a super long line for the big FIFA store. Some people grabbed 5-10 match scarves so there was none left for everyone else. Entertainment included Ellie Goulding but the audio wasn't working properly so you couldn't hear her. It is a fenced park that includes a baseball field (kid size), two full basketball courts, a tennis court and a racquetball court, a tiny gym, and two ballrooms. If you had the pleasure to have The Rec as your voting site, then you know what I am talking about. I used to play basketball regularly on the basketball courts, but a knee injury limits my time on the sport. Nevertheless, the park is pretty quiet, and it's a comfortable place to play sports. I like not finding beer bottles or glass laying around, like at some other parks. Also, The Rec is only open to the residents of West Miami, so no crackheads are allowed. Of the other amenities available, the ballrooms are worth to mention. They are available for rent, one of them comes with a small kitchen, and they have been recently built. The rest of the amenities are also available, although you may have to check with the office for available times, since they are used for private lessons. If you live in the City of West Miami, then you must have stopped by The Rec at some point in time. If you are not a resident, then you can access the facilities with a resident of the city. Whichever way you choose to enter The Rec, you are guaranteed to have a great time.

It is a historical day with the opening of a brand new sports arena! The inside is finished but unfortunately the outside still needs work as well as the parking lot. I've been to this venue for a concert before and liked it much better for the Miami Marlins game. This venue is pretty big and I don't love parking at the garages. We usually opt for parking at one of the residential areas for a bit cheaper and to beat some of the traffic closer to the arena. The venue itself is beautiful and made baseball one of my favorite sports to watch. We were playing the LA Dodgers and there were so many Dodger fans but Miami showed out! We won the game for the Japanese Heritage night. I loved that they had a ticket package that came with special jerseys to commemorate the evening. I got to visit friends in different sections and each seat gave a pretty fun view of the game. There was a lot of levels, from the promenade that has a lot of food options, to the kids zone.
