I was told they weren't the 'coat factory' any more & they only had a few coats left on the clearance rack. He seemed to be in charge of things by the way he spoke (manager maybe) but he took me over to where the coats were. I found one I liked for a really good price, but it had a little damage. I thought if I could find the manager again maybe he would give me a discount. When I did find him he offered a 50% discount (though I couldn't return it). I agreed & now I am a very happy customer. I bought a crown from here for my daughter's quince, we ordered it brand new from the factory and…read morewhen we got home and removed the crown from the bag it came in, we found that there were a total of 12 crystals that had fallen off the crown (and it hadn't even been tried on yet.) when we called to ask if they could fix it they said they could, we waited around 20 minutes browsing the store and the flea market next to it, but when we came back we found that they had HOT GLUED the crystals back on. It was done terribly and looked better broken.

When we arrived, there were only two employees working. While we understand that staffing can be challenging, it was frustrating because they clearly had scheduled appointments and should have planned accordingly. The staff member assigned to help us kept leaving to assist other customers. When we tried to get her attention, we were repeatedly told to wait. We had already selected the dresses my daughter wanted to try on before starting, but none of them were being prepared ahead of time. This caused unnecessary delays and made the whole appointment feel rushed and disorganized. At one point, when we let her know we were ready to try on the next dress, she told us we couldn't because we were out of time even though we still had about 15 minutes left in our appointment. Overall, the service was inattentive, poorly managed, and very disappointing--especially considering we paid for the appointment. We ended up walking out because the experience was so frustrating. I would not recommend this place based on our visit. My daughter and I were looking forward to this place as well so it makes me sad I have to write this bad of a review.

The ladies were all helpful and asked me to let them know if I needed any assistance. They let me browse but offered to put a dress in the dressing room once I selected one. I noticed a few brides trying on dresses as well and the ladies were never pushy and actually one offered advice on what to expect with alterations. She mentioned a seamstress would be coming in shortly and could offer better advice. This alone seemed so helpful for the bride- what a wonderful service to be offered BEFORE you say yes to the dress. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous dress at a fraction of the price.

Elise and the volunteer worker (I forget her name) were absolutely so helpful and encouraging. They did not try to push me into buying anything as I was very indecisive about two of the dresses I tried. They also let me try on veils which were all gorgeous. I was sorry to see the old management go and learn they had fired all personnel, but I also understand that they had a different business plan, and sometimes this sort of thing is needed to make a fresh start with new policies. I've mostly been happy when consigning although sometimes the low price they place on a Pendleton or Clarks item I've consigned blows my mind and I try not to get upset. I've mostly been pretty satisfied with the amount of items they accept from me to consign (I'd say they accept at least 80% of what I've brought in), but the last time, I brought in over 30 items, most new but without tags, and they didn't accept one single item! One has to consider their current stock and think maybe they already have something like you brought in, and they didn't take? But I was bummed as I am an old lady and had to schlepp my stuff to my car from my apartment and then into the store, and then the reverse. I'm sorry to hear of the many complaints about employee attitudes here. That has not been my experience in the least! I'm always asked if I need assistance and they scramble to help me find things that are going past their consign-by date (when they would ordinarily go on sale or get donated), when I want to rescue something from them that I've consigned. I DO like to shop the discounted items in each section and appreciate how they put them on the end of each section, so I can walk down the main aisle and peruse them. These items (priced according to the current % off color that hangs from the ceiling) used to be sprinkled throughout the store and not kept together in each section, so for us bargain shoppers, this is a fantastic way to shop!

That being said, this is a wonderful little shop. It's packed full of stuff and is nicely organized so it's easy to find what you're looking for -- jeans, purse, shoes, belt, jacket, dress, blouse, etc. There are new and used items and everything here is in really good shape. Like new. The owner is a savvy business woman and a busy one! Four people came in while I was there to sell or consign goods. The owner was having a sale and knew where everything was. She is extremely helpful even while processing a lot of new items. I walked out with a cool blouse, skinny black jeans and a gorgeous purse. I had about an hour to kill in between things so this was a perfect way to spend the time. I learned that New 4 You kind of specializes in formal wear. They have a a huge selection of dresses. Cocktail dresses, prom dresses, party dresses and wedding gowns. What a great idea! Worn once, you can get a beautiful dress at a fraction of the price it would cost new. There is a good selection of everything else too but with a lot less to sift through than a giant Goodwill and everything is clean and very presentable. Two thumbs up.
