After my hike this morning, I came across 4 bags of blue raspberry sour patch kids from Nassau Candy. 2 were obliterated, littering the sidewalk with the delicious Blue morsels. The other two were sealed and in tact. Obviously, me and my boyfriend each took one. Blue raspberry is the best flavor, after all. It probably would have gone to waste had we not! Im eating them right now. They taste good, but maybe slightly off from the original Sour Patch Kids. It could be because they are expired though. This company is kind of whack for sending out packages that were already expired before they even reached their destination. They like to waste time with all this paperwork to appear all legitimate. Yet, once you supply everything that they ask for you're told that you can't gain access to the site until after you place 2 manual orders. So they send you some extremely hard to read spread sheet as well as another blank one you're supposed to use in order to place manual orders. That makes it extremely hard for folks that like to work with visuals.. Gosh you wouldn't have thought that we were in almost the year 2025 dealing with this company! read more

Nassau candy is losing a customer forever because nobody can get back to me about $14 worth of Pop Rocks that arrived damaged/unsellable over a month ago. I have sent several emails and called/left voicemails several times (each time waiting a reasonable amount of time for a reply) Even before this, customer service was not great. The pricing is good, but you end up having to tell yourself that, "You get what you pay for." Although the customer service is friendly and professional acting, execution leaves little to be desired, after you place an order and your card is charged, you're lucky if you receive three quarters of what ordered and or paid for. Process: *Select the items you want (via their site) and place them in your shopping cart. *Check out & pay Note: You won't know what items you will actually be receiving until the day of, so even if your card has been charged for the full amount, you'll have to wait for a refund, which can take up to two weeks. Sounds like this company doesn't want to spend the money to make the necessary changes to update their software -- making it difficult for their employees and customers. This wholesaler is terrible to work with. They seem to have a problem with small business owners. I applied to two wholesalers as I sell novelty candy to flea markets and tradeshows and wanted a bigger distributor. This place gave me the run around was going to place a $2,000 order too but they never got back with me. The automated email that was sent stated someone would call and interview me. Tried calling them fore 2 weeks off and on never getting someone to take my phone call. Yesterday I called and finally got through to a human. They apologized and told me that someone would call me in 5 minutes. I waited all day for a call. Finally I decided to check my email and there it was a robot asking me where I was going to sell the product at. Did not get anywhere. Gave up and placed an order through another company. Not sure how this company survives as in my experience customer service is everything if you want to sell and keep customers If you are looking for a candy distributor I suggest Redstone Foods they are a lot more polite and got my account rolling in a matter of days. Too generous to give them one star. Is there no "Negative Stars" option? Sent us damaged product we could not sell, refused to correct their error. Then lied to us repeatedly about fixing the problem and getting us credit on our account. We were a long-standing account with them, and this dispute was over a very small sum. It is torturous to try and set up an account. So much so that I waited a long time to put in my first order. The pricing was tempting so I did. The website would not take my credit card so I started emailing and gave my credit card And said it would be a pick up. They erroneously put it in for delivery. A week later I told them I need in my order today because I Wanted to group them in with my coffee pick up. A week and at least 10 emails later my order still wasnt ready Even though I told them I would be there at 1 o'clock and didn't get there until 130. There is no customer service. I don't know if they're reading the reviews on here but they really should. It's a common thread. When should not have to be interviewed to become a customer And it shouldn't take a week to put an order together. 15 minutes before I arrive they send an email out that a few things I ordered are out of stock. They had a week to tell me this. Probably the stuff was in stock when I first ordered but they took so long that it got sold out. My advice is to steer clear. The competitive prices are not worth the time and effort it takes to do business with Nassau Candy. I wish I had read these reviews before I started. read more

Nassau routinely over bills for items we didn't order. They also are unable to fulfill orders. When the shipment arrives, many items are missing. In addition, we've seen countless expired and damaged products. Ordering from a distributor should be a pretty simple transaction - these guys seems to go out of their way to complicate things. Listen, if you are a small retailer you do NOT matter to them. Customer Service is the worst. Every time you have to call you are met with attitude. Then, they are beyond happy to take money out your account before even getting the product or them ensuring they have the product. I had cases come in melted, broken, etc and it takes forever before you even get refunded. If you even get refunded, but you are always charged for cold packs even if there are none in there. Explain that. Read the reviews for yourselves. I can tell you this company does not care about their customers, which is sad with them supposed to be the leading candy and soda distributor. I understand distribution sucks across the board, but at least come up with a way to notify retailers what's out of stock. Dont charge my card or account if you're out of stock of that product. Delivery schedule is never consistent. Please if you are a small retailer consider going elsewhere where even if you are a small account you're valued and respected. read more

If I can give this place zero stars I would!!! Worst place ever. There's no one there to greet you, they have all these signs on the window. They want you to ring the bell for assistance and when you ring the bell for assistance they take a while to answer you. Then you have to speak through the the intercom as if you are in a jail. I told the lady what I was there for right away she told me I was in the wrong building. Then she asked what store was the candy delivered to I specifically told her it was the wrong item shipped to my house. Then she wanted to know what the name was on the package as if she was going to do something about it. I told her the name and with a nasty attitude she still said "well you have the wrong place" so I walked away while she was talking. This is no way to treat business!! They don't care at all about their customers, and they certainly won't work with their customers to make sure their candy mix in their store is right.
