The hills and valleys with the boat following behind. I always knew that we were in for an amazing days at the lake. The staff was always so welcoming and helpful we have had some injuries over the years that being 20! That they were able to help with getting to a ER and also watching that boat. There are so many different amenities that it's just the place to be. Sadly we moved to CA way to far to travel with a boat, but we always remember our time at the lake so much that college has sent me back to the east coast. I think that there will be a Dale Hollow trio here sooner then I though!

They have shower rooms and bathrooms not more than 50 ft from the cabins. The fishing for bluegill in this area is sooo awesome. They also have a restaurant at the Marina about 100ft from the cabins. Can you say convenient!! Although its hours are limited they are so nice and if you make arrangements with them prior they can sometimes stay over to cook dinner for you !! super accommodating!!! Obviously with it being such a big holiday we were having a hard time finding an available boat as well as it being an affordable price. Our Airbnb happened to be near this resort and boy were we lucky! We gave them a call and were greeted by Cathy over the phone. She was so so so sweet! It was such a joy speaking with her. She made the reservation process super easy and it was very personable, not rehearsed. We were able to get a double decker pontoon with a slide at a decent price super last minute/same day! Not only that but we were able to use my partners Military discount! They walked us through the process over the phone and asked us to come in for the last bit. We arrived to friendly faces and inviting attitudes. All of the staff were very easy to talk to. It was like chatting with family or friends. We arrived a bit later than scheduled but they were understanding and extended our reservation by one hour so that we could still take full advantage of our day. The boat was very clean and welcoming. It was also very easy to navigate and operate. We had such a great day. So much so that I don't think I saw our teenager pick up his phone one time while out on the water lol. We will absolutely be using this marina again! I don't think we will use anywhere else after this weekend actually. We are already planning to come back next month with all three children and renting a houseboat for the weekend! When we get there, she is not only stone cold to us, wouldn't even let us register before 4. We had to sit outside in 95 degree weather for 2 hours only to find out that the air conditioner on the boat was not working. They didn't offer us any other option, they put in a temporary AC unit, which was worthless and dangerous - it condensated all over the electrical cord, used all the gas in the generator, which the gage stayed on full, resulting in us running out of gas. The next morning after spending a miserable night sweltering in the heat, the run a bout that we rented didn't start, we had to wait for them to send someone out to fix, the cold water in the shower stopped working - all you could get was hot water on an already horrible hot houseboat. - We were ready to come home on day 2 of our 4 day vacation that we planned for months, saved and took time off from our jobs. I have to say, one of the worst experiences of our life. We talked to Kyle and he was fully aware of the situation and he said he wanted to make it right. My father in law said he could refund at least some of the money, needless to say, the check was cashed and no refund given. This is the absolute worst marina on this otherwise beautiful lake, the boats, cabins, runabouts and even the store are all in horrible shape, several years outdated and should all be replaced or demolished. Please don't waste your time and money, all other marinas are so much better, the people are nicer. Patty should not be the face of any business, she will be the reason it goes out of business.

I've visited my fair share of marinas and boat docks around Kentucky and this one is top notch. One…read moreof the 'regulars' told us that it used to be the hidden secret of Kentucky, but now everyone knows. Well, it's not that busy. It's on Green River Lake and although it reminds me of Lake Cumberland, this dock is not near as busy as any of the docks I've been to on Lake Cumberland. We were camping about a mile up the road, at Holmes Bend Campground and hadn't planned on it, but spontaneously rented a boat here. Ok, it was a fishing boat, not a pontoon. They do have pontoon and house boat rentals too, but considering that it was Independence Day weekend, I wasn't surprised that those were already rented out. I will have to mention that I was surprised at the maintenance of the fishing boat... not mechanically, but the cleanliness. Co-webs, dirt and fishing hooks, all could've easily been swept or sprayed out prior to our rental slot. Although we didn't book it prior, it just seemed like they would've prepared the boat for business... just an observation and worth mentioning. It really wasn't bad enough for me not to recommend it or go again. Inside the dock, there is a restaurant area. They sell above average 'order at the counter' dock food. And it's fairly cheap too. There is also a beach and a fish pier within walking distance. I just wish I had more time to spend in the area. There was so much to do, you could easily spend a week's vacation here.

The houseboat itself was well stocked and had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a water slide off the back. We found multiple beautiful places to dock and jump off and swim. The staff here was so incredibly nice and helpful! They came down to the boat and explained everything so well and fitted all the kids for life jackets. We even needed a hand with a minor thing we couldn't remember while out on the lake and they came out right away and were so nice they just said "thanks for calling it gave me an excuse to come out here on this beautiful day" I highly recommend this for a trip to the lake!

This is not an ideal place for a serious boater. The ramp is narrow and often blocked by debris…read moreand is almost always blocked by golf carts during boating season so that putting a boat in or taking it out is almost impossible. The parking lot is so jammed around the ramp that it makes it highly difficult to access the ramp. The slips supposedly offer water and electric but the electric to ours did not work. Worse yet, we pulled our boat out for repairs and came back to find a barge owned by the marina parked in our slip and we could not put our boat back in. All of this in spite of paying nearly $2,000 for an annual slip fee. Did not get even a half a year use as our slip was taken after paying upfront. There was no notification by the marina that they were confiscating our slip or to ask us if we were returning. Just had to pull our boat home and leave it during a beautiful late summer and fall. Just a highly disappointing experience.

I took the bait as my whole family was coming in for Labor Day weekend. $300 for one day, non refundable. Let me say not only was I disappointed, I was totally embarrassed to show this boat to my family. Seats with major damage and taped with duct tape. Dirty seats, nasty carpets. A real luxury boat! Further, upon returning the boat they claimed we ruined the prop (we did not). Another $300 ! In trying to negotiate with the manager and the owner, both proceeded to yell at me because I questioned both the condition of the boat and this "ruined" prop. I'm angry but have no recourse. Do not do business with these folks.you WILL regret it. I wish I could post pictures of this boat...a real disaster!
