Great Job by Homestead Construction We hired Bob Murray and…read morehis team to remodel our kitchen, build a new addition to include a mudroom and a full bathroom, and converted a space into a functional garage. The entire team was a pleasure to work with. We were away most of time during the construction but we were kept updated on the progress and they addressed our questions or concerns promptly. We got back home to find a beautiful kitchen that is more functional and with more storage space, a very comfortable bathroom and mudroom, and a garage to finally park our car. Bob was great at coordinating and managing the plumbing, electrical, garage, and heating subcontractors involved in the project. He was on top of the details of the project and managed it to keep it on schedule. We couldn't be happier with the professionalism, quality, and responsiveness with the finished work and would hire Homestead Construction again for any future needs. We're grateful to Bob and his team for bringing our vision to life!

As an architect who works often with contractors and sub-contractors, I have to say that Eric is a…read moretrue professional in his field. He helped us glaze our home's custom-designed steel windows and they look amazing! Eric is prompt and accommodating with his scheduling, knowledgeable about all kinds of glass installation and his rates are reasonable. Most important of all, he is friendly, easy to work with and has a positive attitude on the job. Other glaziers we spoke to when getting estimates either refused to touch our specialty custom windows, or acted very put-upon to take a job that was outside of their normal scope of work. Eric, however, responded with enthusiasm to the challenge and treated our project with interest, like it was his own. We would highly recommend his services and definitely plan on passing his name on to our clients and friends!

Minor concerns we had were addressed quickly and professionally. In addition, the price was significantly less than other vendors for a superior product! Highly recommend!

Then the beginning of June they showed up to my house at 7am with no call, no notice nothing. A guy was sitting in my driveway, didn't come knock on the door. Then exited his vehicle grabbed a ladder & put it on the side of my house right where my bedroom window is, where my wife was getting dressed for work. My wife was beyond upset, I called the office to explain to them what happened & all I got was we are sorry it won't happen again. obviously it won't happen again, you guys are gonna do the work & leave you won't be back. Then the Forman for the job texted me & said he was busy getting materials for the job & apologized for not communicating that his guys were showing up. But a phone call takes two seconds. if you had a minute to text me you could have called me to let me know your crew was showing up. Once the job was completed they sent the invoice immediately & it said I had 30 days to pay. I called the office to yet again explain how frustrated I am with my experience & how this is gonna reflect my bill. to no avail, I got "oh a company wide email was sent out to explain this can't happen". After all that I got called & texted 4 times each asking when I was gonna pay. Yet again I thought I had 30 days to pay. All in all invoice was paid & I will not do business with you again beyond unprofessional.
