We didn't have a reservation but it was a Wednesday night at 6pm. When we sat down there were only 4 other tables with patrons and things were pretty relaxed. Our server was good but as I watched the interaction with the other tables from the manager it was very apparent why we were sat in the far back corner. Regardless the food was good, no issues with the GF entrees. The scallops were fair at best.

I am not sure what the entree was but it was delicious. It was penne dish with perhaps a vodka sauce. It was creamy with some tomato sauce and included sausage. The flavors were very pleasing. I ever order penne because I've had penne dishes in which the sauce didn't cook in to the pasta. The sauce in this dish penetrated the pasta quite well. It changed my opinion of penne. The room is perfect for the size of our group. It is not overly decorated allowing for the clubs to create their own ambiance. Ours was political. Ti Amo's has long been our go to Italian restaurant. We liked going to their Happy Hour. Except for this luncheon, we haven't been there since they started adding a charge for using credit cards. We like the convenience and safety of carrying very little cash. We don't use our debit card for purchases because it puts bank accounts at risk. If we are with people who want to go to a restaurant that charges for credit cards, we go there and pay with a credit card. When it's just the 2 of us, we tend to gravitate to the places that just include the card expense in their menu pricing.

Our waitress, Maggie was kind, cheery, gave good suggestions! The bruschetta was possibly the tastiest I've ever had! Caesar Salad 10/10. It's a unique salad with a creamy spin on dressing that was terrific! Eggplant Parmesan was delish, and the Chicken Marsala was absolute perfection! We were stuffed so we got tiramisu to go and promptly dived in the second we got home! Loved it! I've seen others complain about a $4 service charge if you pay with a credit card. If that bothers you, take cash! I highly recommend Bella Roma and suggest you make reservations bc from where I sat I saw them turn away about 6 other groups. We got there a little after five and it was 100% full when we left! Ciao!

I would say it was more of 3.5 stars…read more I want to like this place. So, I will be back at some point to try it again, but on this first trip, it was very underwhelming. The ambiance was good, and the staff were very nice, but the food was a major let down and not worth the price at all. First up was the olive oil and bread: the texture of the bread nice. But it had no flavor at all, it tasted like it was made from just water, flour, and yeast. No salt, no butter, no flavor. - Then we've got the oil to accompany it. It tasted of cheap oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Lots of red pepper! It was unexpectedly spicy. We ordered the manicotti, and the chicken piccata. The Manicotti ($20) was nice and soft, it almost melted in your mouth, but that was it. The flavor did not impress, and instead just left you unsatisfied. The Chicken Piccata ($26) was described to us as one of the most flavorful dishes on the menu... and it did have some flavor, but if that is the most flavorful, then I am worried about everything else on the menu. It is also the first chicken piccata I have had that tasted like a bland chicken and dumplings, or chicken noodle soup without the soup. Not bad but just "ok".

We visited The Crazy Olive for lunch on Friday, April 10, 2026. We had been there a year ago and we…read moreabsolutely loved it, but I have to say that this time we just didn't feel the same. The food was about a 5 out of 10 at best. The best part of the meal was the gyro meat, It was absolutely delicious but nothing else was that great. We are huge Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food lovers so I feel like we can give a pretty good review on this. The cabbage rolls were definitely different than last time. They were heavier on the rice and didn't have as much flavor. The grape leaves were not good at all. We actually ended up spitting them out, unfortunately. The hummus was really heavy on garlic, which we love garlic, but that's not usual for hummus. The tabouli was super heavy on parsley with little to no bulgar wheat. I'm hate to have to write a bad review on this place but compared to how it was a year ago, it really has changed. I heard they changed owners, but I can't be certain about it. I also have to say it wasn't the cleanest place and they didn't have any napkins out and a lot of the tables were dirty. I think the couple behind the counter were the only ones working so I can understand that they couldn't get to the tables quickly, but it also isn't the best look when you walk into a facility that isn't kept up very well. I will usually try a place a second time, but this one was bad enough that I don't think that I will.
