I've eaten at Napoli's several times but the last 3 xs were awful. After this time I will not go back-the service is atrocious! I can understand when places are packed the service might be slow but the waitress we had was beyond awful. My SIL & I both ordered lasagna & she was delivered a little oblong casserole dish full of sauce- I think there was half a lasagna noodle in the 'serving' (if you'd call that a serving.) My serving was half the thickness it used to be. We kept looking for the waitress & finally she came out & was standing beside the bar/counter talking to a male employee. SIL tried to get her attention & I know full well she saw her. Waitress turned her back and kept on talking. After a few minutes the guy said, "I think your customers need you." She glanced in our direction and then made a hmmpf expression & turned back to running her mouth. 3 to 5 minutes later she sauntered our direction asked if we needed anything. SIL tried to nicely explain all she got was a bowl of sauce & and there were no lasagna noodles. She moved her spoon through the sauce so the waitress could see what she was talking about. Waitress said, It's not my problem. I didn't make it-I'm just a server." Most places would've replaced the dish but she continued to act like she didn't get it. Finally she went and asked someone & she said they offered half off SIL's meal. We'd been there long enough that we certainly didn't want it replaced. Ridiculous. read more

i ordered from the seafood section (& i had a hard time with the selections they had) & went with the linguini with clams. i went with the white wine sauce (you can choose between that & marinara). bread is given to you as soon are you're seated/before the food is served, it's really good & you can easily get full off of that alone. the food didn't take long to come out. the serving was MASSIVE, i definitely had to take some to-go. thing is, it looked like i didn't even touch my food after i was stuffed. the clams are sauteed, well seasoned & compliments the white wine sauce. outside of the food, the service was great. the party i was with was checked-on frequently & ALWAYS made sure that everything was ok. their menu had a wide variety (pizza, soup, sandwiches, pastas), if it's your first time, it might take you a minute or two to make a decision. it can also give you an excuse to come back for multiple visits. read more

I am not from Sand Springs and going here, I do not see a lot of interesting places around in the small city. I was really happy that I went to this place! I had some italian dish, didn't even know because my wife is into italian food. I would eat here again. Bread: The bread actually was the best part for me. Homemade, it was different than a regular roll, it was like a knot or something, it was super delicious. They brought it out for free, but most people do that for free. The oil was not free, because it was all fancy but you have to order that separately. The bread on its own with butter was great though! Chicken: The chicken was a bit tough. I expected it to be better, but it was alright. I think chicken is normally this way in the dish that I got but the SAUCE was really good. It was like a lemon sauce with capers. I would try something else the next time I go here. Service: The service was fast and dependable so, no problems there. Ambience: It was actually pretty nice. It was roomy and not too crowded even though it was right after church on a sunday. All and all worth going again. If you want authentic Italian food this is not the place. I ordered the chicken piccata the chicken breast tasted like it just came out of the freezer and the sauce was bland. If you're looking for bland, mediocre Italian, then this is your place. I had their spaghetti with "the works" - spaghetti with meatballs, sausage, and mushrooms. Sounds great, right? The price was good, too. The was just one problem. It was like someone turned down the flavor to almost nothing. The tomato sauce was very plain, the meatballs were spongy and dull, and even the sausage was very mild and meek. It was also clear that the whole thing hadn't been seasoned at all (as in salt) as even the addition of a generous amount of parmesan didn't really help it. I would wager that very little of what I ate was made by hand as opposed to made in a factory somewhere. Also: avoid the cheese sticks. They're freezer fare. As widespread as decent mozzarella is, it's not hard to hand-bread and fry your own! Service was acceptable. That saves it from being a one-star review. read more

I am on the road traveling and found Napoli by accident. I ordered carryout Chicken Damablanka , which I had never heard of before today. It was delicious, chicken over spaghetti, sautéed mushrooms with brandy cream sauce. It was served with rolls. Ready in less than 15 minutes, served hot, well packed for carryout. I had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo assuming that it would be thick and creamy with a hearty helping of chicken. The chicken ended up being rubbery and the fettuccine oily. Just very basic Italian food. Many dishes came with minimal seasoning. Meatballs were very plain. Nobody left saying it was amazing. Atmosphere was nice and we were the only people in there for the hour we were there so service was great. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms and it came in a boiling bowl with four tiny mushrooms that were actually cold. Tell tell of microwaved food. Good price and huge portions. Not impressed at all. Stouffer's meat lasagna was better than the lasagna I ordered. And the tossed salad is advertised as something more than a bowl of white iceberg lettuce that came soaking wet with one tiny cut of tomato, whatever you do don't order this. Overall worst birthday dinner I've ever had. Two stars because the waitress was nice. read more

Haven't ordered/been there since before COVID-19. We don't get over there very often, but have always been happy with everything. We ordered carryout, and they will do curbside pickup. Decent italian food- amazing Alfredo sauce. It's like a friendly warm Italian neighbor's house and the cooking and portions fall in line with that. The gratuitous bread is glorious and their dipping sauces are a perfect compliment. (Although the bread is so tasty it doesn't need any help). Friendly service and not too expensive for what you receive. My only advice is, (and this could have been a one time thing) but if you get a salad, ask for the dressing on the side. I ordered a salad with the house Italian and couldn't readily identify the salad when it was placed in front of me because of how much dressing the leaves were swimming in. (The dressing must be a tomato base because it is a deep red). The chicken in my piccata tasted like it was perhaps a frozen breast that had those fake grill marks on it and it was microwaved instead . My wife and I eat here at least three times per month. Every time is just amazing, from the Calamari to the Pizza. I confess that I have tried most every item on the menu, and my favorite is the "Spaghetti The Works". My choice and recommendation would be the Ala Pana sauce as it blends perfectly withe the pasta, and the Meatball, and Alison the House made Italian Sausage. They have an espresso machine. Found this place just driving around SS on a Saturday evening. Quaint. The olive oil, garlic and basil sauce was well worth the $2.50! The calzone with meatballs substituted for sausage was great. Salmon Picatta was well balanced, with just the right amount of pasta for the salmon fillet. And the caper, white wine and lemon butter sauce was perfect! I really appreciated their ratios for the meat and carbs. The meat was not overpowered by the bread or pasta. What a pleasant surprise it was to find this place. I had The Works (sausage, meat ball, mushrooms) in red sauce. My wife had chicken and mushroom in Brandy Cream sauce. In town overnight and need a restaurant with vegetarian friendly entrees. Spotted Napoli's on Yelp and gave it a try. The atmosphere was very nice. The host, servers, and other staff my group came into contact with were very friendly. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. The bread was awesome. Very bad experience tonight trying to get dinner with my husband. We requested to not be seated in the large seating area so that we could have some privacy. The hostess accommodated our request and seated us in the other dining area where another couple was finishing their dinner. For a little while we were alone waiting on our server to take our drink order. My husband finally asked when someone would be by to assist. He was told our server was on the phone. Okay??? So we waited and then three Sand Springs police officers were seated near us and were immediately taken care of. They received their drinks, napkins and bread while we were still waiting to be greeted. So we tired of being ignored and left. I will say we were the only black patrons in the restaurant and it was OBVIOUS we were being intentionally ignored. As we were leaving there was no, I'm sorry we are really busy and this is not typical- NOTHING. Everyone who knows us know we are not the type of people who look for and are sensitive to racism. But the treatment tonight was just so disappointing. We will not return to this establishment. read more

I love this place. Small, family owned that treats you like family. Meals are soooo good and they always use the fresh and best ingredients. The service is not just great, but very friendly. The location is tremendous, located in downtown Sand Springs, in the older district, in a quaint building with outdoor seating, just like in Naples!! This is all good, but the food is even better! Homemade Italian recipes are unbeatable and honestly, their pricing is almost not expensive enough. Too good to be true? Not in this case. Take a chance on this little hide away café. You'll be glad you did. Carry out is also an option. You could pay more, but why would you? As far as the guy who gave two stars and said no flavor, his allergies must have flared up. You cannot taste anything at all when you are having allergy problems. Trust me, this little gem of a place is worth the visit. read more

I used to live this place, but not anymore. The last several times I've been I've been very disappointed. The waiter isn't friendly and I've often had to hunt him down for a drink refill. He doesn't check on you during the meal at all. I've tried giving them chances but I've had spaghetti that tasted like tomato soup on top, my last meal, the lasagna watt meat, cheese, and sauce with very little lasagna noodles. I want to like this place. The atmosphere is cozy . Charming old building in downtown S.S. with comfy booths etc.. The breads and pizza are pretty good. The pastas have decent combinations of cheeses, noodles, and proteins. The only thing they're really missing is some love in their sauce! I know this is more of a family style Italian and not "fine dining" but damn.... Just add some more "kick" by way of seasoning and some passion to those bland sauces. Also, some freshly grated parmesan wouldn't hurt. The powdered stuff is weak. read more
