We had a good experience at Naples KOA and all of the comments about the owners and staff are very true -- they seek to genuinely want you to enjoy your time camping and they do whatever they can to make that happen. From guiding you down to your site and assisting with directing your back in to delivering firewood when you order it, service is obviously important to the team. They have added on to the campsite providing some nice new bath houses and a brand new dog park area. The campground seems to be heavily populated with seasonal campers and they provide some good support for this with areas for boat parking and other services like bulk wood pricing. When we camp, we tend to cook on our site and explore the area, as we are weekend transients versus seasonal guests. As a result, we don't take advantage of a lot of the amenities on site -- rarely use the pool, not likely to join the rec hall activities, etc. This campground offered a number of those things and they seemed well received. Our campfire and the stargazing are things we enjoy. A+ on the night sights -- no noise pollution to dampen the experience so we saw plenty, including some shooting stars. The only two things I would say that come across as constructive feedback are around the fire pit itself and the new campsites. They expanded recently and so you basically have a ton of new site in an open field (or parking lot). The sites are well leveled, angle for easy back-in, and the services (electric, sewer, and water) are easily accessible. There is just no privacy between sites as the trees have had any time to build up yet. It isn't a huge deal because the back of one camper is facing the front of the others, but it does mean you are a bit on top of other campers. The other minor issue is the fire rings -- maybe because a lot of the population is seasonal and they don't use the campfire for cooking, there aren't cooking grates on the campfire ring. We do most meals on the fire so had to buy a wire great to put across the pit. Again, not a big deal as evidenced by the four star review, but a little thing to keep me from going with 5. Overall a nice place, great staff, and incredible location and we won't hesitate to find our way back in the future. read more

First thing my husband had to do was argue that he already paid on line! They charged him and it was confirmed but not in their system? Probably why we ended up with the crappy cabin! The ads look nothing like reality. The cabins are way smaller than other KOA deluxe cabins. There is no linens. There are no soap dispensers like other KOAs. There is no internet. The cable is spotty. The staff said they know all this. The porches on the "deluxe cabins" are so small you can barely stand on it! Our site overlaps with an RV site. 611. Can't wait to see what happens if one shows up! It's only saving grace is that it's clean. Apparently false advertising is the Naples ME motto. For what we paid I could've gotten a hotel and everything they advertise. Stay far away. read more

have stayed at multiple KOA campsites and have NEVER had these types of problems in my whole life. I consistently carry in/carry out, my dogs stay leashed, we never speed, and we always make a point to clean up after ourselves. General Manager herself followed me around and my car around multiple times during my half day stay here. BEYOND CREEPY to see 3 golf carts watching you and pointing at you as you attempt to enter your cabin at night as a solo traveler. Had to sit in my car for 20 minutes with my dogs before the people stopped directly watching me and I felt safe enough to get out of my locked car. Only to see that several golf carts were periodically circling my cabin while all of them refuse to even greet you, just staring while they drove by. Front desk girl is nice as can be but her boss is crazy. Go to any one of the identically priced campsites in the area and save yourself the hassle. If you are a solo traveler avoid this place like the plague, a few extra dollars is worth your safety!!! read more

Naples KOA has all the amenities. It's very clean and well laid out. It pains me not to give it a 5 star rating but I can't. All is great during the day. No one is there to in force the rules after 5pm. My campsite was across from a number of seasonal rentals. They though they owned the place. The dogs were barking till midnight and their music was so loud I couldn't hear my own music in my own camper. My neighbor call twice to complain. No one picked up the phone. Most camp grounds have security policing for issues, to my knowledge there were none. This is totally fixable. The management just needs to enforce the rules. A few can ruin it for the many. What made it worse is the app nor the KOA.com website has no ability to register complaints or concerns. read more

KOA naples is a great campground! The cabin I stayed in was priced reasonable and everything was super clean. It's a 1min drive to long lake where you rent jetSkis or a pontoon boat. A good amount of restaurants and things to do are nearby. The staff was very welcoming. I would stay here again. read more

I started camping at Naples Campground Labor Day weekend of 2009 along with their end of season multi-week special rate (a real value and great way to get your feet wet if you are considering becoming a "Seasonal" camper). I had bought this tiny camper that was intended for traveling, was paying for storage and hated towing. I have friends with vacation homes in the area and figured it would be worth trying it out for a few weeks. I never left, my tiny travel trailer has been there ever since. I thought it would be awkward to be the single girl with a dog at a "Family Campground", but that wasn't the case. Everyone took me in to their families, so I'm never alone unless I want to be. Since that first 2009 season, I've made great friends, had great times and have come to consider Naples Campground my second "home". There is something to do every weekend! Although not a parent, I even enjoy helping out with the kids activities. The wet hayrides are a blast. There's always a themed event going on like Luaus, Pirates Weekend, you name it! Saturday nights are especially fun for the adults (although the kids are welcome too) there is always something going on at the Rec. Hall from dances, to karaoke and live bands. When I want to peace out on my own, I head to Sebago Lake State Park and hang out with my dog (you can pick up a free day pass at the campground store). There are lots of things to do in the immediate area of camp--The Lakes-Long Lake and Sebago and countless others for boating, canoeing, swimming, etc. Shops, Bars and Restaurants and the Causeway are about a mile away from Camp. There is a Drive In movie theater nearby also. The Fryeburg Fair and White Mountains are a short drive as well. I can't say enough about this campground in the limited number of words allowed for this review! Five stars is not enough for this campground. We have camped all over New England, only to find one of my most favorite campgrounds, only 30 minutes from my home. The camp sites are level, decent size and clean. The environment is friendly and welcoming. So many activities for young and old. And probably the best part are the owners and staff. I have never been anywhere and felt so welcomed. They will help with anything within reason. And will always interact and participate with the campers. This campground feels like home. read more

I would give this 10 stars if I could! This campground is the cleanest we've been too. We stayed 7 nights and no mosquitos, plenty of outside bathrooms/showers and pet waste stations that were all immaculate at any given time. Thank you Con and Pam! read more

The Naples Campground is now under new ownership and has changed to KOA Campground. However, the exceptional staff is still exceptional. There are activities and events almost daily at this lovely campground and the kids are sure to enjoy it. It's still owned by a family and they're putting their all into the place to make it great. Naples campground is seriously the best place we've ever camped. it's geared more towards campers and R/V's but there are tents. Theres 2 playgrounds, exceptionally clean facilities, an in-ground pool, rec hall and game room. they have all kinds of activities for the kids including hay rides. wi-fi. The best asset the place has is the family that runs it, they are exceptionally welcoming and accomadating. I've camped everywhere and have never been treated better! read more

One of the finest and best run campgrounds that we have ever visited. Con and Barb make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Beautiful clean and level sites, a really nice pool, activities offered for young and old and an on-site restaurant. They even have free passes to the state park which is right next door.
