The reason for me choosing one star is because of the ridiculously expensive estimate that I received, I was quoted $1250 , and $1000 after discount if I pay cash to remove already half cut a medium size tree . I called another 3 companies just to make sure I will not over pay , they all quoted less than $500 , I end up doing the job for $250 including removing the routes with a special equipment that grind the roots 2 foot below the ground. The person that I hired is licensed bonded and insured , it's took them less than an hour to finish it. $1000 estimate it's a rip off and I'm warning everybody to shop around and get another two or three companies for the estimate . And for this company I wish good luck and actually I don't think they're going to stay too long in a business.

One of the employees raised his voice at me several times when I questioned the quality of the completely obvious mistakes and lack of attention to detail. I had PGE come out and they said they would have raised it if it had been requested. Do not recommend.

I am a local realtor and I needed an emergency roof inspection because I was trying to meet my…read moretimelines. The first roofing company screwed me over and gave me no useful information on a roof inspection other than a handful of pictures and a couple lines that said they cannot make any recommendations or certifications because they didn't work on the type of roof (tar and gravel, older home) that was on this house that I needed inspected (look for my review of the Roof Doctors if you are interested). Long story short is I needed a some sort of roof inspection with useful information to pass on to my clients, so I decided to call Above All Roofing Company. Justin is one of the owners who took over for his father who started the company. I explained the situation to him on the phone and he said explain to me that pretty much very few roofing companies will certify or repair tar and gravel roofs now days and that the best thing is to just replace it when it's time. Even though he did not work on those roofs either, he was willing to go over to the house to look at the roof and give me his two cents about it the following day. After he checked the roof out he called me (I couldn't answer), so he text me his findings. Basically the roof is old, has some rusted flashing and areas around the flashing had been patched in the past. Overall, looked ok at this time, but couldn't guarantee life of the roof. The best thing was to replace the roof with current methods (rolled roofing) which to convert over was a lot of work. Of course he is in business to make money, but he was honest and said the roof may hold up for a few more years. He did offer a written quote on a new roof replacement and did not charge my clients a roof quote inspection fee to help save us some money! They are also solar certified so, they are certified to disconnect, remove and reinstall your solar panels to repair your roof. This will save you some time and headache from dealing with your solar company or maybe your solar company went out of business like mine did. Justin knows how to run a successful business! Just be honest and don't try to nickel and dime potential customers! If anyone is looking for a roofer, give Above All Roofing Company a call! If any realtors are out there reading this, give them a shot for your roofing inspection!

My husband and I retained this company by recommendation from our RE agent to perform a chimney…read moreinspection for a house we were purchasing. We expected an honest assessment in order to provide us with needed repairs but you will NOT get this from this company. The inspector came out and was friendly. He cleaned the chimney and did a gas leak test. His inspection was basic and the total amount of time he spent was maybe 30 minutes. He wouldn't test the gas burner to see if it was operable, just said he cleaned the pipes holes. Once the inspection was complete he informed us that the firewall, the clay wall inside the chimney, was badly burned through. He DID NOT recommend replacement but only to monitor the firewall. The owner of the company stated it was not fair to recommend costly repairs to a seller. I was taken back by this as I was the one who was paying for this inspection and they were obligated to us to recommend whatever repairs were needed. They chose not to correct their report and wrote that the firewall was deteriorated and did not need replacement or repairs. I did some research on my own after the appointment and checked with the National Chimney Institute along with other professional chimney inspector. It is strongly recommended that a compromised and burnt firewall must NOT be used and needs replacement immediately. Using the fireplace in this condition is a extreme fire hazard and can heat the metal box behind the fireplace and catch the wood structure on fire! I was shocked that this company unethically did not recommend repairs and could have left us in an extreme fire hazard if I had not checked it out for myself. There is another chimney company in Dixon that I recommend over this one.

I waited for his call since I hadn't heard from him I called @ 12:30PM and asked to speak with him I was told she didn't even give him my message yet that he was just to busy and it would be late this afternoon before he might have time to give me a call back. Really? I think not! I told her I would call some one else. Why didn't you tell me that @ 10:10AM? So I didn't wait for Dan's call? The only reason I called you first, was because we purchased our fireplace insert from you. I will be happy to take our business else where since you are to busy.
