I just had major surgery to have stage 4 endometriosis removed from multiple organs. I even had my appendix removed during the extensive abdominal surgery. She seemed uninterested in my post-operative report. My insurance company dropped me two days before the surgery and she yelled at me to stop crying and told me to get insurance. I did, & then her office was very rude to me over the phone & they didn't even call to confirm my appointment beforehand. I have over 20 years of medical trauma from being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when in reality I have had one of the most painful conditions. Dr. Weisbein's demeanor completely changed when her next patient (an older male) walked in and she quickly changed her tone and said, "hello my love!" to him. Bottom line- ladies!!! Don't go to this woman. She's mean. *I almost forgot to mention, when I told her I was in a car accident, she said it was against her policy to talk about more than one injury at a time. *Go to Dr. Eric Grigsby or Dr Melanie Johansson if you need real help and you are a woman. They are experienced and non-biased unlike Jaqueline. *Thank you for your apology for your aggression & I hope you do better for future patients. I am finding better/more experienced/better equipped doctors for my needs.

For the first time, I truly feel heard and seen at Napa Pain Institute. With my previous pain management, I constantly had to argue just to get proper dosing for my medications. I suffer from a severe sciatic pinched nerve, multiple bulged discs, and issues with both knees -- one of which needs a replacement. From day one, Dr. Grigsby offered real solutions, including a spine stimulator, to help manage the pain that never fully goes away. Even medicated, I'm usually at a 5 or 6 out of 10, and before coming here, I lived at a 10 every day. They were finally able to medicate me appropriately, and they're still working on adjusting things to get me to a better place. I can't thank Napa Pain Institute enough. Every department has been great with me -- even medical records, who waited almost two months for my records without giving me any issues.I especially want to thank Dr. Grigsby and whoever in the office helped get me in sooner. Instead of waiting two months for my initial appointment, they got me in within about two weeks of my first call. I have no words -- you all have been amazing to me, and I plan on staying with your office as long as you'll have me.Thank you, T. Brandyteresa76@gmail.com

I was so impressed she took the time to study my situation before we even met. I had originally met her at the Pain Institute and I followed her to her new office at California Pain Specialists.. what an upgrade! The office is immaculately clean, the staff is attentive and professional. I had not seen her for a few months but she immediately remembered my history and relayed it to her staff. It took over 20 years to get a diagnosis so I have my fair share of medical trauma, dealing with one of the most painful diseases. It has been so refreshing to finally be able to put trust into my healthcare team. Dr. Melanie Johansson is truly a gem of a Doctor, I'm grateful to be reunited with her.
