Dr Zimmerman and his staff are quality from the first call to the office…read more I broke my nose a month ago and after being told no, there's nothing to fix by my insurer/healthcare system (never mind that I can't get fresh air and my nose is now crooked) I called their office. My Mom died and left me some money and I think the best way to honor her is to think about her every time I look in the mirror! So, I'd been thinking about going to Dr Zimmerman who was referred by a friend as the most skilled plastic surgeon in the area, for some other procedures. Then I broke my nose and that surgery will have to come first. Charlene was so kind when I called for my appointment and expediently sent by email the office paperwork so I could complete it before the appt. At the office I met Lynn the doctor's office and surgery assistant. She was amazing. She told me allot about their practice and the procedure I was being evaluated for, Rhinoplasty. Very kind! Both she and Charlene. Then the doctor came in and I could now see why they were so awesome - because HE is!! He never once spoke down to me. He explained the procedure but not is any frightening terms (like my healthplan - who were trying to scare me from even wanting something done) but was always gently, respectful, kind, explanatory. When the staff gave me the bid for this surgery, he told me he felt the insurance should be paying for this. Told me he knew someone he could call who might be able to see me and impart the importance of my needs to the healthplan! I ask you, Is that not the most amazing? What doctor is ever that caring and selfless these days? But, I would want Dr Zimmerman to do any plastic procedure on me, so I will try to get my healthplan to refer to him as the specialist in his field that NONE of their doctors are, so that he can do my surgery and get it paid for. I hope and pray this might work. As for you all reading this, go to Dr Zimmerman! He has excellent bedside manner. Hes been in the plastic surgery arena for many years and as such has the experience others don't and he thinks in terms of how your body will heal and how it will look when healed! Pleasant tech asked me to put my purse in one room while we walked passed patients in chairs to get to the panoramic machine. No vest was placed on me for protection like was done when I had a panoramic done elsewhere. Tech told me it would take 3 days for the before and after photos would be available to see. After one week of waiting, I was told they were waiting for the lab. Also, no one asked to schedule my next appointment. I didn't hear back after asking receptionist for a phone call from the dentist (so I could privately explain my experience instead of doing it here). I had requested a written breakdown of cost and got just one sentence from one of the 3 different front-desk women (not a breakdown of services like other offices provide) and it didn't match the deal on their website which is why I had asked for clarification. Three patients were being taken care of by hygienists in an open room; I prefer a private room. Dentist's website advertises a fantastic deal for Invisalign. It may be a great opportunity, but I didn't move forward. He is not short of patients, so I realize he doesn't need my business and will carry on without me.

I think I did a sixth treatment (brazilian) but it didn't make much of a difference and in total I had already spent over $1500 so I didn't want to continue spending my money here any more. I understand that laser hair removal is not total hair removal, nor is it permanent, but I was really expecting to see a more significant reduction in my hair growth considering the price I paid for the services. From my very first phone call, consultation, follow-up emails, video calls, and scheduling, every single person has been attentive, efficient, kind, and incredibly responsive. Dr. Tom has surrounded himself with an amazing team. I never once felt forgotten, hurried, or like my questions were a bother. I had a conscious sedation, or "awake," tummy tuck with liposuction to my abdomen and flanks. Because we live out of the area, I had several calls and video visits with the office before surgery. By the time I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and well informed. My questions had been answered, my labs were complete, and I already had my medications in hand. The entire process was incredibly organized. Surgery day could not have gone more smoothly. I had no complications or complaints and was completely comfortable. I actually napped on and off throughout the procedure! The entire surgical team made me feel safe, relaxed, and very well cared for. The post-op care has been just as impressive. Dr. Tom personally stayed in contact with both my husband and me the day of surgery and the following day, and we were given his personal cell phone number in case we had any concerns or urgent needs. On my second night post-op, I developed a mild fever of 100.9°. My husband called Dr. Tom at 8:30 that evening, and he answered his cell phone immediately. He was incredibly kind and reassuring, talked us through what was happening, and gave us advice on what to do. Thankfully, everything was fine and it was simply my body reacting to everything it had been through. Dr. Tom then called the next morning to check on me and offered to have me come into the office if I wanted to be seen. That experience really drove home that when he gives you his personal number and tells you to call if you need him, he means it. I know I'm only five days post-op and several months away from seeing my final result, but I already could not be happier. I can see beautiful definition in my waist and a flat stomach, even this early in the healing process. For anyone wondering about my starting point, I'm 5'2", was 124 pounds going into surgery, and would consider myself to have an athletic build.
