First video visit went well. Waiting room is tiny…read more First office appointment was on time. Glasses that were handed to me to wear were dirty. Pleasant tech asked me to put my purse in one room while we walked passed patients in chairs to get to the panoramic machine. No vest was placed on me for protection like was done when I had a panoramic done elsewhere. Tech told me it would take 3 days for the before and after photos would be available to see. After one week of waiting, I was told they were waiting for the lab. Also, no one asked to schedule my next appointment. I didn't hear back after asking receptionist for a phone call from the dentist (so I could privately explain my experience instead of doing it here). I had requested a written breakdown of cost and got just one sentence from one of the 3 different front-desk women (not a breakdown of services like other offices provide) and it didn't match the deal on their website which is why I had asked for clarification. Three patients were being taken care of by hygienists in an open room; I prefer a private room. Dentist's website advertises a fantastic deal for Invisalign. It may be a great opportunity, but I didn't move forward. He is not short of patients, so I realize he doesn't need my business and will carry on without me.

I got on this site and read some of these reviews and was shocked! I have lot's of plastic surgeon friends here in Marin, but all of them were twice as expensive! (literally double!) I looked at their reviews here too, some were absolutely horrifying as well!! It frightened me to death...so I waited. Then, I noticed, after several months, once my friends joined Yelp and starting paying the monthly advertising fee, their reviews, (at least the one's that show) were suddenly glowing. Dr. McClure is very established and doesn't feel he needs to be a member of Yelp, nor does he pay the fees. Hmmmm, just sayin' don't believe everything you read! So, I decided to trust my friend and my gut and proceed with Dr. McClure. I couldn't be more pleased and happy!! Not only is my turkey neck gone, but I had a bump on my head for many years that Dr. McClure removed, free! Dr. McClure asked me to follow up about a month after surgery, then a year after. At the 1 year mark I noticed a very small bump. No one even noticed, besides myself. I showed it to Dr. McClure and he said, that's easy to fix, we can do it in 15 minutes without anesthesia and I'll do it for free. I scheduled an appointment. While fixing the tiny bump, he noticed a small portion of my scar hadn't healed to his liking. (I didn't see anything) So, he fixed that too, again, for free. As I was thanking him, (btw, my scars are almost undetectable!!) he said, "I tend to be a perfectionist, if I see something I fix it, even if my patients can't afford it. If I feel it really should be done, I simply include it free". Dr. McClure is an excellent surgeon and truly a very kind man. He volunteers his surgery skills, (several months a year) all over the world, fixing untold horrific scars, cleft pallets and burns. I'd recommend Dr. McClure HIGHLY to anyone that needs plastic surgery. Save yourself some money and come to beautiful Napa. You'll be glad you did...

I endured the pain telling myself each time that it was worth it to not have to wax again. Unfortunately, that is not the case and I still have to get waxed monthly and shave my legs every day if I want them to be smooth. I would say I saw maybe a 40% reduction in my hair thickness and amount. I spoke with Kathy about how I was not satisfied with my results and she offered to discount any additional treatments by 25%. I think I did a sixth treatment (brazilian) but it didn't make much of a difference and in total I had already spent over $1500 so I didn't want to continue spending my money here any more. I understand that laser hair removal is not total hair removal, nor is it permanent, but I was really expecting to see a more significant reduction in my hair growth considering the price I paid for the services. Kathy and Lori (no longer there) were the two RNs that did my services and both were very friendly so I won't ding them for that aspect.

From my very first phone call, consultation, follow-up emails, video calls, and scheduling, every single person has been attentive, efficient, kind, and incredibly responsive. Dr. Tom has surrounded himself with an amazing team. I never once felt forgotten, hurried, or like my questions were a bother. I had a conscious sedation, or "awake," tummy tuck with liposuction to my abdomen and flanks. Because we live out of the area, I had several calls and video visits with the office before surgery. By the time I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and well informed. My questions had been answered, my labs were complete, and I already had my medications in hand. The entire process was incredibly organized. Surgery day could not have gone more smoothly. I had no complications or complaints and was completely comfortable. I actually napped on and off throughout the procedure! The entire surgical team made me feel safe, relaxed, and very well cared for. The post-op care has been just as impressive. Dr. Tom personally stayed in contact with both my husband and me the day of surgery and the following day, and we were given his personal cell phone number in case we had any concerns or urgent needs. On my second night post-op, I developed a mild fever of 100.9°. My husband called Dr. Tom at 8:30 that evening, and he answered his cell phone immediately. He was incredibly kind and reassuring, talked us through what was happening, and gave us advice on what to do. Thankfully, everything was fine and it was simply my body reacting to everything it had been through. Dr. Tom then called the next morning to check on me and offered to have me come into the office if I wanted to be seen. That experience really drove home that when he gives you his personal number and tells you to call if you need him, he means it. I'm now post-op day five and am still receiving a daily text checking on my progress. That level of care means so much. And the results... WOW. I know I'm only five days post-op and several months away from seeing my final result, but I already could not be happier. I can see beautiful definition in my waist and a flat stomach, even this early in the healing process. For anyone wondering about my starting point, I'm 5'2", was 124 pounds going into surgery, and would consider myself to have an athletic build. My trouble areas have always been my "mom pouch" and love handles, where I tended to carry any extra weight. At 46 years young, I finally decided to do this as a gift to myself. I had wanted a tummy tuck for the better part of 15 years. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
