He actively listens and is well-equipped, both mentally and physically, to provide lasting relief through targeted therapy and precise manipulations. I also want to highlight that he is a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic), which requires nearly double the amount of anatomy/physiology/embryology hours (roughly 700 hrs) compared to a traditional MD (roughly 390 hrs) program. As for my personal experience, I have suffered with a severely pinched nerve in the C5-C6-C7 region for about 2 years. In just two sessions, Dr. Murphy was able to provide more relief than I have felt in 2 years. He was extremely cautious and methodical in his approach and I am the better for it. I look forward to my continued therapy and interactions with Dr. Murphy and the rest of the staff at Lazarus Chiropractic.

Picture is of my girls playing beside the adjustment table. The doctor helped me continue to enjoy 30 min walks throughout my pregnancy, despite how big my twin belly became! I've even recently started having my 3.5 year old see her for adjustments and to try and help with her constipation issues. I highly recommend De Wet Chiropractic! During the initial assessment, Dr. B. took quite some time with me to find out as much as possible about different aspects of my everyday habits and routines, work environment and home activities to have the whole picture of what might possibly contribute to my neck situation. His very thorough approach impressed me, but what really stuck with me was that Dr. B. offered to treat me free of charge after learning I was an exchange student intern in Napa. Along with adjustments, I received very good advice on what needed to be changed and what I could do while at work and at home to keep my neck (and spine in general) in great condition. Fast-forward four years and Dr. Bishofberger was treating me after a high diving accident. Thank God it was not as bad as it could have been (but it was bad enough I wished I hadn't done it in the first place). Regular adjustments along with lower back stretching techniques recommended by Dr. B. worked wonders for me. I was actually surprised to regain full range of motion and rid myself of pain given my injury. I came back to Dr. Bishofberger this fall to take care of my neck and upper back as I let my good posture habits erode. I feel like a new man every time I walk out of his office. As always, Dr. B. gives me lots of good tips on how to fend off discomfort - these may sound like simple things sometimes, but they are not necessarily self-evident. (Not to me anyway.) On top of his professional competence, Dr. Bishofberger is a great person to be around. I enjoy our conversations and oftentimes feel I would like to stay longer to talk to him more, but alas! he is at work. Dr. B. and his assistant Marina create such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. And they both have a great laugh :)
