I had been hesitant to see a chiro all my life since I didn't have any "serious" issues, outside of pulling a muscle in my teens. I also had the misconception that they simply push and pull on your limbs unnecessarily and then you're on your way. I finally took my husband's advice and saw Dr. Dobson after having sciatica. He was great - listened to my issue, explained what he was doing beforehand, and definitely didn't "push or pull" on anything just for the hell of it. I've gone back a few times for adjustments after long plane rides, for instance, and still very happy there. read more

Dr. Dobson at Valley Chiropractic is great. He takes the time to understand his patients' issues, unlike some practitioners who are more "run and gun." Caring and professional, his adjustments are well-conceived and not overly aggressive. A bonus: his office is well-run and wait times are usually short. Pro tip: If you have chronic pain, try some of his specially created CBD creams; they work! If you are in Sonoma with back or neck issues, hurry to see Dr. Dobson. read more

Great service . Had me feeling much better 1st visit! Don't pressure you for a plan as many others do.

Highly recommend Dr Dobson. I am a disabled vet and so appreciate/value my relationship with his team. Very professional and efficient.

My God, what an incredible man! Dr Grant Dobson is one of the kindness, most caring sweet-spirited people you will ever meet. He has a deeply extensive knowledge about the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. He is a gentle chiropractic master. My entire family went in with various longterm and acute pain issues, and everyone feels an enormous relief every time we see him. For every reason imaginable. The entire office is full of beautiful art and warm curated colors. Major bonus. Makes you feel special and invited in. Tara and La Toya are pure sunshine and comfort as well! Dr.Dobson is great. I feel great every time I leave. He gets it done quickly and effectively. Can't thank him enough for his help.

I was trying to wash my hair when I reached up and my neck just exploded with pain! Literally, I went straight to bed and couldn't move the entire day. My boyfriend had seen Dr. Dobson in the past and thought I should go see him immediately. He was able to squeeze me into his work day and in one visit, he was able to get me from bedrest to moving through my day. In three visits, I felt completely better! He is gentle, caring, and very good at what he does. If you need chiropractic care, this is the doctor to visit. read more

Dr Dobson knows what he is doing. He does not over promote his work but appears cautiously competent at least for back structural issues

Dr Dobson is a great chiropractor and I highly recommend him. My shoulder and neck were killing me due to sleeping on my side, being hunched over my laptop all day and my kids constantly jumping on my back. Dr. Dobson immediately realized I had a few ribs out of place and did a quick adjustment. I felt like I could fully breathe again and the pain was gone. He also adjusted my ankle after I rolled my ankle and it had lost some mobility after favoring it for months. He is great, listens well and got me back pain free quickly. One of my biggest surprises was the fast acting impact of CBD creme for my pain relief and he sells several CBD products there! I highly recommend anyone visit Dr. Dobson who is looking for pain relief! read more

Dr. Dobson is the best replacement for Dr Charette that any of us could've ever asked for. He is very attentive to your spinal, (and full body) health. He is absolutely a healer, and has been more than flexible helping me get in when I need to, which is tough with our busy schedule. Thanks for opening your office in Sonoma! read more

I have been having hip problems for many years now. The pain hindered my ability to give 100 percent at work and gave me a bleak outlook on my aging future. I had been to the doctor and specialists a few times and consensus was to get a "new" hip. My wife finally persuaded me (Yes I am stubborn) to go to Valley Chiropractic (Yes, she is always right). Dr. Dobson made some adjustments and said my pelvis was way out of alignment. The visit was concise and Dr. Dobson explained everything he was doing perfectly. Three appointments total so far, and I can honestly say I have no pain in my hip!!! I can run around all day with my 5 grandkids now, and yes they tire me out, but my hip feels like new. I am a stubborn skeptic, but the proof is in my pain free days. THANK YOU DR. DOBSON AND VALLEY CHIROPRACTIC!!! read more

I never had a reason to go to a chiropractor until I recently found myself in a world of pain due to a herniated lumbar disc. I was wary of chiropractors for no particular reason but was encouraged by several acquaintances who went to Dr. Dobson, a few of them who were medical professionals. I went and was happy to find there was no reason to be afraid and he relieved my pain significantly! He is easy going, professional and most of all knows what he is doing! Just had to write a review for those of you who might be hesitant!!! read more

I have visited Dr. Dobson twice in Sonoma and I amazed at his technique. I have been suffering with sciatica pain and knee pain for a long period of time. He was able to drain a cyst in back of my knee and relieve the intense pain I had experienced for many months. Also his adjustments relieved my sciatica pain. I feel like a new person! I am so grateful for his expertise. I highly recommend Dr Dobson read more

Grant is the absolute best! Not only is he a seriously great chiropractor he is a super personable and nice guy that obviously is concerned about his clients well being. He takes the time to test, ask questions, and really try to get to the root of the problem as opposed to just "going through the motions" like a lot of chiropractors. You know the ones... no matter what you say might be bothering you they do the same adjustments every time. Grant utilizes stretches and other techniques that are amazing. If you're looking for a good chiropractor in Sonoma area you can not do any better. And I have been to probably 6 different ones over the years. read more

Grant is the best!! I went to see him after an injury I had that caused a pinched nerve in my neck. I was in a lot of pain, for a long time. I was really nervous because I had never been to a chiropractor before, but he quickly put me at ease by taking the time to answer all of my questions, and I had a lot! The adjustments were quick and painless. He also made adjustments to my back that I didn't think could be ever be fixed, it was discomfort I had been dealing with for years! And now I have never felt better in my life!! His care, and taking the time to listen and understand my needs, and the love he has for what he does, truly shows through his work. I'm so grateful to have been referred to him and I will continue to see him for all my future needs. He truly is the best! read more

Amazing find! Dr. Dobson is well trained, truly cares, and is very good at what he does. I have been receiving help with a frozen shoulder, and carpal tunnel, and his adjustments and attention to detail have been remarkable. Would highly recommend him and his services. read more

I had a very severe shoulder injury which was completely misdiagnosed by Dr. Dobson. It was diagnosed correctly by an Orthopedist afterwards, who said it was so easily diagnosed that he couldn't believe any medical professional could misdiagnose it. Dr. Dobson performed some strong manipulations on me based on his misdiagnosis, which could have made the problem worse, though I don't know that for sure. read more

I'm what you would call a super user of healers. Chiro, massage, PT, Reiki...whatever it takes to keep me walking upright and playing tennis. After moving from SF, I needed to find a local chiro to whip me back into shape after thrashing my neck yet again doing God only knows what. I think zip lining may have been involved. So off I went to Dr. Dobson. Could not have found a more perfect doc to help me. He's an athlete too, so he understands the drive to keep going back out there and pushing the body to the limits. As I age I may not push as hard, but I still need help getting back to normal. Dr. D's whole body and mind approach fits perfectly with my style. Go see him tomorrow... tell you friends. read more

Dr. Dobson is a really gifted chiropractor with a holistic approach. Unlike other chiropractors I've seen who only spend 5 minutes with a patient (basically walk in, crack 'em, and walk out) Dr. Dobson takes the time to understand how my body is moving and talk to me about problem areas. I have a connective tissue disorder that makes me a particularly sensitive patient. I totally trust Dr. Dobson to help me, listen to my feedback, and work with me to improve my quality of life and manage pain. read more

Really glad I have found a great chiropractor in Sonoma! Was a bit worried coming from Portland, Oregon, i.e. the home of chiropractors. Grant is nice and really cares to find out what is causing the problem. Not only do you get a great adjustment, but he teaches stretches and exercise to make the the muscles around the troublesome area stronger so it'll quit being a problem. Highly recommended. read more

Dr Dobson has been a great asset to my "health team". I am a new patient at VS&S, and with Dr. Dobson. I am very impressed with his knowledge of not only the spine, but also the related ligaments and muscles. I have been under the care of a Chiropractor on and off for 40+ years, and have seen many over the years. Dr. Dobson is near the top of the list. During my first exam he made the effort to really try to understand my issues and pinpoint the problems. He seems to incorporate a combination of massage and stretching therapy to help alleviate the pain and tightness, and to restore the normal spine movement. I am happy with his care so far. read more

I know this is the best rating one can give I took my 30 yr old daughter to Valley Sport & Spine and Dr Dobson spent over an hour listening to her and she has since seen him on a regular basis and miracles have occurred ! She has lost over 60 lbs and now has the body to support her healthy lifestyle. We had tried everything and the Dr was what was needed to add science and caring to her weight loss and exercise routine. I cannot thank you enough. If you want someone to listen and assess your needs and come up with a workable plan Dr Dobson is the Dr. to go to. Thank you for being a great listener and technician. Fantastic! Dr. Dobson took the time to ask key pointed questions to really understand my situation, and performed a few physical tests to confirm his suspicions, then made a few quick adjustments that made a huge difference!, what a relief! He made two technique corrections to my daily exercise routine, and added two "mobilizations" (stretch motions) that are keeping me aligned. I'm already recommending him to friends! read more

After being diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and trying physical therapy (not much help), I went to see Grant Dobson at Valley Sport & Spine. Thanks to Grant, I returned to full use of my right arm in less than 6 months rather than the 1 - 2 years predicted by the physical therapist. Grant is intuitive, empathetic, skilled, a great listener, educates and you leave his office feeling better, smarter, hopeful, and equipped with the necessary tools for working on healing between visits. Very empowering and healing experience. Grant is the best!! read more

I have nothing but trust and confidence with Dr. Dobson--his adjustment techniques are outstanding, and he is very approachable and understanding. Since beginning work him, it's become a family affair. As a new mom of twins, my wife's been noticing increasing discomfort and back pain from carrying two children. She's recently started seeing Dr. Dobson (never been to a chiropractor before, but now she swears by him), and she's pleasantly amazed about how much better she feels after a visit. Not only has her pain decreased, but her mobility has increased and she's able to enjoy herself more and be more present--I highly recommend new moms check him out if you're hurting! Recently, I've been noticing that our 2 year-old was swinging his right leg when he walked (versus in a linear manner), and I wondered if he might be locked up. After an evaluation, Dr. Dobson adjusted his back and hip, and our son was literally walking better the moment he hit the floor. Thank you, Dr. Dobson! read more

Dr. Dobson is truly a genius! He made me feel comfortable talking about my health issues and was incredibly professional.
