I had to wait 2 1/2 months to get an appointment with Dr Weisbein. Of course, when the day arrived, I was expecting to see her but no. I was treated her PA who told me "not today". Dr. Jacqueline Weisbein has a very aggressive bedside manner. When she came in the room (first time meeting me) she sat down with her arms crossed and said, "So what's wrong with you?" I just had major surgery to have stage 4 endometriosis removed from multiple organs. I even had my appendix removed during the extensive abdominal surgery. She seemed uninterested in my post-operative report. My insurance company dropped me two days before the surgery and she yelled at me to stop crying and told me to get insurance. I did, & then her office was very rude to me over the phone & they didn't even call to confirm my appointment beforehand. I have over 20 years of medical trauma from being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when in reality I have had one of the most painful conditions. Dr. Weisbein's demeanor completely changed when her next patient (an older male) walked in and she quickly changed her tone and said, "hello my love!" to him. Bottom line- ladies!!! Don't go to this woman. She's mean. *I almost forgot to mention, when I told her I was in a car accident, she said it was against her policy to talk about more than one injury at a time. *Go to Dr. Eric Grigsby or Dr Melanie Johansson if you need real help and you are a woman. I'm so very impressed with Dr Weisbein During our first visit she actually listened to me, then she explained what course of treatment she would like to pursue. During my treatment Dr Weisbein is always looking for ways to help me improve. I have never left her office feeling unsure or uninformed about what my expectations should be. I've been with Dr.W for many years now, until today, Thurs, 21st Nov 2024! Dr. Weisbein has regressed once again to become the absolute epitome of rude, disrespectful, unprofessional talking over, non listening Doc I've ever had the displeasure of having charge over my pain care, but I refuse to be held captive by someone's mood swings, episodes, emotional trauma or whatever you would like to call it! And yes, this is not the first time I've had the unfortunate experience with Dr.W, as this is a reoccurring issue, and the office knows it, it used to be a running joke in office, wonder which Dr.W you would get today? If you know you know, if you don't, give it a while! To think I believed in this, Dr. enough to let her perform multiple surgical device implants on me, along with many other injection procedures, and medication management. I trusted her and had so much faith and hope this year that upon my return in Oct, she would remedy my leg and knee pain so that before I have my left knee replaced let her correct pain, prior to leaving she performed multiple mandated pre surgery test rounds of shots in low back and based on results when I return she will perform a minimal invasive surgical procedure involving fusion rods implated into my SI joint with her guaranteeing this was the problem and not the knee that had been misdiagnosed! That was the agreed pain plan going forward as of March 2024 to perform the iFuse Implant System apon my Oct return to US! Nov 2024, Dr. informed me her practice has changed and is changing. She wants to be more than an RX refill office and will no longer prescribe pain med to me as she had been for years at same doses, we both agreed on and was a conservative pain plan (This is the same doc that said if you need more for your pain she would put me on Methadone, no thanks) Yet now without consultation, stoner Kim wants me to take Suboxone, then Dr. told me, if you don't like it, (as I said I don't want to take the detox drug, I've seen what it does to people like me) Well, that's your choice, you can go elsewhere!, Kim, give him a couple of doctors' names, then left. Seemed like a decision had already been made to no longer treat me! (A little history, I've had 8 back surgerys, both shoulders operated on, right knee total relacement and 4 left leg surgeries to repair Tib/Fib break, along with smashed knee and ankle requiring Halo system with bolts and pins. I've been in pain since my 1991 3 level lubar fusion with fixation rods, surgically implanted thru front and back of torso. Let's say that constant pain is all I know! Thanks Doc, glad to hear your practice is changing, so much for a pain specialist or whatever she wants to call herself, Cybel comes to mind! From the March plan of having her performing surgery once back into US, to basically f*?k off my practice is changing, I had no clue what i was walking into today, when I left for UK everything was great with the consultations, pre surgey 3 rounds of shots completed and agreed plan on moving forwad with SI joint surgery to combat constant pain I have to WTF! Dr.W likes the passive aggressive approach when dealing with people less than her, so be prepared to be spoken AT, not too, and whoever speaks the loudest gets heard, along with talking as fast as she can at you, then drops a flash bang into room then walks out on you, effectively stunning you, with no response from you the patient as part of her protocol! I would say yeah great people skills, as long as you enjoy being treated less than respectful, and just another daily Stat to be posted on how many #s can she run on a day! Top notch carpet bagger! I brought the snake oil with the promises of pain relief she feed me for years and had such faith that she had finally found the problem/solution I felt betrayed by Dr.W AGAIN! So if you would like to be told a story of hope and put faith in someone, that they can help with the nightmare of constant pain, just to be dropped on your ass because "things change" over last six month's, then shes the Dr for you! Wouldn't mind after her shoulder surgery, she was a wreck, if you know, you know! I'm too old and in too much pain every day to carry her bags of shit she likes to land on others, expecting patients to be ok with it, sorry lady been through to much shit in this life to take on yours! I highly recommend Dr Weisbein. She is a very unique doctor. She takes time and learns the problem and asks lots of questions about your issues. She never appears to be in a hurry. I was a patient of Dr. weisbein for 8 months or so. Let it be told if you're looking for opioid medication, they do not do that. I'm a US veteran and have had over 15 plus surgeries since getting an honorable discharge to come back home to the states. I had both shoulder cuffs repaired and preparing for another neck surgery. I can't even pick up my right arm to my mouth. I'm in so much pain that I finally gave in to needing something stronger than lyrica. All my 7 doctors are so helpful and wanting me to live a better quality of life. Bottom line is Dr. weisbein denied to prescribe me anything stronger than lyrica. I asked her if we can reevaluate my situation and there it took a turn for the worse. I never asked for stronger medication until I finally needed it, she made me feel like a drug addict and to make it worse she was discussing this in the hall way where patients and the receptionist could hear, pretty sure that's against HIPPA laws. Once I left I went to the emergency room and they were so awesome and took my pain away immediately. Got in to see my primary doctor, amazing doctor. She prescribed me medication to help with my pain and get me a referral to a real pain management clinic. Thank god for those doctors that actually care, especially to us as USA veterans that put our lives on the line. I absolutely 100% do not recommend Dr. weisbein, far too inexperienced, immature, and her level of caring is awful. Don't waste your time on a doctor that doesn't care about you for two shits!!! read more

Have been a patient for some time. I received one type of treatment that is supposed to help with nerve pain, and it does, but I have arthritis pain as well. I was told that the stim should be enough for pain control. Even a neurosurgeon has told me that a stimulator will not work for arthritis pain. So I'm essentially being seen, but being bumped off as a patient since the stim was supposed to be a cure all. I am a Marfan patient, so my body is never going to get better. . My body is going to deteriorate as I age. Also not giving me a long lifespan. My body is going to hurt progressively worse. It's unfortunate that some doctors do not seem to truly care about your quality of life. No matter how short it may be. While I am not being treated properly for my condition, I pray the doctors here find peace, and one day truly understand how to be empathetic towards their patients. Dr Weisbein has been fantastic and as a result of seeing her, I am in zero pain for the first time in many years. I am a nurse and have had many interactions with MDs before, I very much appreciate the bedside manner of Dr Weisbein. It's rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. She fit me in ASAP, did a fantastic job while respecting my request to avoid rx medications. Her communication and follow up have been impeccable and she was also kind and friendly.
