I just saw a couple bad reviews for this amazing physician so I had to post my story. I have been suffering from back pain for years after doing a squat challenge without proper form while weighing 230lbs. I knew I had to lose weight so I accomplished this goal but still suffered with severe back pain. As it turns out I had annular tears at several levels which is not a surgical fix. I work in the medical field and several of our patients had seen Dr. Bodor and raved about him. I decided to make an appointment with him and this was the best decision I ever made. He has treated me several times over the years with PRP injections for various body parts but for the spine it has been a miracle. As a former professional athlete, I've worked with world-class doctors around the world. Dr. Bodor is genuinely in a class by himself. As a result of a career in multiple extreme sports, and a refusal to act like I'm 52 when I go outside, I'm one of the more beat up people out there. Disc damage, joint damage, nerve pain, ruptured muscle sheaths, and in February 2017, a knee torched while alone in the backcountry. Yet last winter, I was able to put in 785,000 verticle feet of pretty intense skiing before the season got shut down. Dr. Bodor and his team are the reason I'm still charging instead of limping through my days on pain meds. Over the years, Dr. Bodor and the skilled members of his team have fixed my: lumbar discs, facet joints, both wrists, a worn-out right knee, and the aforementioned left knee that sustained a fully ruptured ACL, a partially torn meniscus, and a damaged PCL. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ! Although not required by my double insurance, his staff made me get a referral from my Primary Physician, (requiring yet another office visit with her) Then his staff required a recent MRI exam, or equivalent, before an appointment, from my local provider. Then his staff required I bring all prior medical records, (dating back 50 years) to my first appointment. On the date of finally getting an appointment, 40 miles from home, my GPS to his address put me in an incorrect common parking lot for several medical offices. Phoning his office, the receptionist said it happens to lots of their patients, but she gave me very poor directions in finding the office. Then Dr. Bodor arrived at the office 40" after my appointment. I was still sitting in his outer waiting room when he arrived. No explanation or apology given for the delay, while I watched three of his office staff socializing. After all this grief, Dr. Bodor informed me his is NOT TAKING ANY NEW PATIENTS. Dr. Bodor changed my life. I am forever grateful for him & his team. I suffered from debilitating back pain for several years after giving birth. Dr Bodor is great. I have seen him twice since 2017 and the second time was this year during Covid and he went out of his way to get me in in a timely manner for my leg pain which he quickly assessed and through his attention to detail he Discovered something that he needed to refer me out for and he took the time to personally call and try to get me in to be seen that same day by a colleague. I ended up seeing the colleague the following day and Dr. Bodor was very communicative and supportive of my situation. I think he is a skilled and compassionate caregiver and I have a lot of respect for him. I am quick to notice a poor bedside manner and I have not found his staff to be anything but professional. SIRVA (shoulder injury related to vaccine administration) has made my last 6 months unbearable with severe pain. It led to bursitis, adhesive capsulitis, and rotator cuff damage. After a long search for help filled with surgeons denying SIRVA exists, I discovered a blog mentioning Dr Bodor. I travelled from Oregon for Dr Bodor to perform his self developed Tenex procedure on my left shoulder to remove the flu vaccine remnants. I am 74 and have suffered from headaches since high school. Not migranes but still painful and at times lasting days. I had talked to every doctor I ever visited for anything plus some specialists and nobody ever had an inkling of what to do. Then I went to Dr. Bodor and he changed my life. He came up with a new way to treat my problem which involved some injections under nerves going up my skull. Within a few days my headaches ended. Had a BMAC procedure here, and the staff is awesome! I felt well cared for. They even let me order "Alexa" around to play music that I liked. Professional, compassionate, and fun! I recently saw Dr. Boder for pain in my shoulder and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Coming out of shelter in place, Dr Boder and his staff went out of their way to schedule an appointment with me and make me feel comfortable. He quickly diagnose my shoulder with bursitis and calcium deposits. I'm not a fan of needles, but he was very patient and supportive when I received a steroid injection. I have no idea whether this doctor is good or not. What I do know is his staff is awful, and without feelings. I was in a car accident, where my car was totaled by a Land Rover going through a stop sign. My PCP recommended Dr. Bodor for my neck injuries. I arrived at Dr. Bodor's office with a letter of recommendation, which the receptionist took, and told me I would be called back. I waited at home, no longer having a car or loaner, the first day, but no call. The next day I tried calling, but each call resulted in nobody answering, and my leaving a message. Today, the third day, has resulted in the same not answering their phone. I'm in pain, and this doctor's staff doesn't care. I don't know if Dr. Bodor ordered them not to answer the phone, or they just don't do it, themselves. Horrible people without a stitch of concern for hurting, injured people. Shameful. Update. Dr Bodor's office told me they couldn't set up an appointment until they had more " clinical" information from my PCP, They could not ask my PCP for that information until I was seen by Dr. Bodor. The only people who knew this was Dr. Bodor's staff. I didn't and neither did my PCP. Seems I have to request that information, but was never told. If that makes sense to anyone, let me know. So in conclusion, You can't see the doctor without clinical information, which they can't get until the doctor sees you. Catch 22 read more

I was injured 20 years ago by a drunk driver and left with chronic cervical nerve pain (cervical radioculopathy). After multiple surgeries, 2 disk fusions and had been seen by numerous specialist including a world renowned neurosurgeon at USCF. I was told my condition would never improve. Well they were all wrong. Dr. Bodor performed a PRP procedure which took 2 months before I started to feel positive results in pain reduction..I made sure I followed Dr. Bodor's recovery instructions and did not deviate. I have lived in Lake Tahoe for the past 20 years and in that time have had the good fortune to be associated with many elite skiers, swimmers and triathletes from all over the United States who have come to live and train at Lake Tahoe. When I developed a debilitating back condition a couple of years ago, I was able to call upon friends for advice. An almost universal mantra was to obtain the best, least invasive pain management in conjunction with the best Rehab/Physical therapy available before considering surgical options. I am glad I made the decision to do so. This review is my experience with D Bodor back in 2015. It took me a while to write this review as I'm not the type of person who says bad things about other people but my experience with him changed my life. He did platelet rich plasma injection to my L5-LS disc in year 2015 after suffering back pain for 5 months and it was the biggest mistake I've ever done in my life. I regret having it up to this day as I've been in so much constant pain every single day from the area he injected the prp. I went back to Dr. Bodor several times but he had no answers for me and instead referred me to Stanford who will not do anything as I'm too young to have a fusion surgery. According to Stanford, prp Injection is not something they do to their patients as there are really no reliable studies that's it's completely safe and effective. If I had known this before, I wouldn't have consented to this procedure. I have no other options now but to live with this constant and debilitating pain. I feel that Dr Bodor and his fellow didn't provide me enough information in order for me to have an informed decision. They also didn't do a thorough assessment to make sure I will benefit from it. I felt that he talked me into it for the purpose of money making and increasing his sample prp patients so that he can convince more patients to do it. When you've been in pain for so long,you are willing to try anything and believe anything that offers to provide relief. I regret to this day trusting this doctor and how I wished I had more knowledge about my condition at that time. So beware if you are thinking of getting a prp injection from this doctor as there is a big chance you will end up worse. read more

I went to have a nerve study done and the Dr who ran it was a crazy ass bitch! I want to throat chop her. But alas, I will yelp instead. I went to Bodor for a concerning problem with my back, only to come out in tears, sobbing, after this woman (who had a business card that says she is an MD, but I seriously question that now) said she felt I had Multiple Sclerosis, and needed to seek further treatment asap. While she had me captive probing my lower extremities with a very painful needle, she was quizzing me on her new business venture, and asked me if I would be willing to pay 1 dollar a min to receive medical advise via Skype... Grrr. Freaking salesman. So she tells me I have MS. This was January 17. So for the last 2 months I have been living as though I was fucking going to be crippled. Looking on the web for medical info is terrifying! And that what she told me to do! WTF! While she was telling me what was happening, I started to cry.. SO DID SHE! She actually had to excuse herself from the room, to gather herself back together. WTF kind of MD cant hold their emotions.. I'm sorry but she really needs to sack up, and try to stiffen her upper lip! I have no ill feelings for Dr Bodor, or his office, but this lady is a freaking psycho.
