The decor here is beautiful. Really makes you feel like youre in a winery, especially the large wall of wine. We noticed they have a happy hour menu which we will have to come back and try but we visited for dinner. Our drinks were well made but Im sure the star here is all the wine options that are available. The star for us was the food. Everything arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the short rib, tender and tasty. Sarah was a fantastic server as well!

My friend and I came here for lunch and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here with a friend who had never been here . We ate in the bar area which is very nice but alittle noisy. Tue is a good time to go here as it's half off on a bottle of wine under a hundred dollars. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca but I ended up sending it back . The chicken was pounded out so thin that it was dry and hard to cut . I got the French onion soup and a salad instead . Both very good. I have been here many times and this is the first time I had a problem with the food . Our server was Sarah and she was very nice and comp my chicken saltimbocca . Normally I would give a four rating but I only gave a three because of the dryness of the chicken . My friend who never been there was impressed and plan to bring her brother sometime. I will be back

Wine was wonderful, wedge salad was not very good. Salmon was avg. Service was not good, server was very weird talked too much. She spilled random food on me and could not bring herself to say sorry. If I go back it will be for the wine!

I've been here once before for lunch and we decided to meet friends for dinner. It was great to see they changed their menu. I am Deaf and there is a young girl who is CODA (children of deaf adults) and is fluent in sign do it is always nice to make that connection. We loved how the place is decorated, especially in the back room we were in. Our waiter, Jason was attentive and friendly. We had great service. The food we all agreed was top of the line. Could not have been better. We already talked about coming back. This is a great place to dine and one needs to experience in order to understand why it's a staple in the Dublin community.

Had a good meal at NAPA but service was pretty sparse, I think the server wanted to get out of there and kinda forgot we existed. But the food it good, maybe a bit more pricey compared to what to get, but it's a nice cozy space.

Braised Beef Short Ribs

I came to NAPA this past Friday with my boyfriend for his Christmas work dinner. We were in a party of 14 people and dined in a private room. The room itself was very nice and I noticed the regular seating area looked very cozy as well. I'd had the braised short rib at the Taste of Dublin and had been craving it again ever since and was very excited to be coming back! Because we were in a large party we had a set menu. I started with the veal meatballs and some type of mushroom toast. The toast did not blow me away but I LOVED the meatballs. I'm very picky with meatballs so was hesitant at first but the sauce was amazing and the meatballs were so tender. I then started with an old fashioned that was pretty good. We had three courses for the meal and started with a choice of soup or salad and I had the Napa greens salad and my boyfriend had the wedge. The Napa greens was also pretty good but we were not fans of the wedge. To start, it was not a wedge, just random pieces of iceberg lettuce. It also had no bacon, the ranch was pretty watery, and there was hard boiled egg that made the entire salad taste like one giant egg. For the main I had the braised short rib again and it was the star of the show! It comes with mascarpone risotto and what I believe was carrots and parsnips. All the flavors paired so well together and the short rib was so tender. For dessert I then had the bourbon bread pudding that was served warm with vanilla ice cream. I wasn't able to finish but just a few bites as I was so stuffed, but it was also so delicious. We also had a red blend and Cabernet served with dinner which were both delicious wines. Our server was very attentive and nice the whole meal and we loved having the privacy of a private room for our party. I'll definitely be coming back on my own again for the short rib!

They hosted a beautiful baby shower for my sister in law! The server was so nice and accommodating, making sure everyone had what they needed. The food was delicious and so was my cocktail. Everyone raved about their meals, and my sister in law and her mother were so happy they didn't have to do any of the cooking or cleanup! I definitely want to try this place for dinner another time too! They left a great impression.

The food is okay if you're looking for a casual place to eat. They do have a separate lunch menu too.

Sleeper hit of the neighborhood. Frequented by an older crowd, the food is consistently good but not knock-your-socks-off.

Usually very good harvest salmon. Maybe Wednesday isn't the best day to order this or they changed their salmon supplier.

Amazing Views, Tasty Tapas & One Very Small Plate Problem!…read more We visited VASO Rooftop Bar yesterday to meet up with some friends and celebrate her retirement. And what better way to celebrate than with good friends, good food, and a rooftop view? Since VASO is a tapas-style restaurant, we decided to order several things and share everything. We started with the deviled eggs, followed by the Caribbean flatbread, bruschetta, and empanadas. We also tried the mussels served over spaetzle. Now, I'll say this right up front: the portions are on the small side. When you're sharing food with four people, three empanadas probably isn't the best game plan! We were definitely doing some serious plate math. But here's the good news--what the dishes lacked in size, they made up for in flavor! Everything we tried was really tasty and well done. There wasn't a dish that disappointed. Of course, we couldn't stop at dinner, so we moved on to dessert. We shared the blackberry crème brûlée, chocolate terrine, and spice sponge cake with bourbon sauce. The desserts were just as good and gave us a sweet way to finish the evening. And then there's the view. Being a rooftop restaurant, VASO gives you an incredible perspective of the river. Seeing the river from that height, especially while enjoying dinner and drinks with friends, made the whole experience even better. Overall, VASO delivered great flavors, creative tapas, delicious desserts, and an amazing rooftop atmosphere. Just remember--if you're dining with a group, order enough plates because those tapas aren't exactly supersized! Come for the view, stay for the food... just order extra!

But sadly the food was not good. We ordered several small plates and really didn't like any of them. The Korean fried chicken was fried too hard, and the paella was more like rice with a jumbled seafood mess on top.....it didn't taste or feel intentional, and the chorizo was needed in the dish at all. I was also expecting the crispy rice on the bottom and this dish didn't deliver that at all. The bruschetta was bland, and the lamb lollipops were overcooked. As for the drinks - they were okay. The drinks and food honestly look better than they actually taste. If you want to go somewhere for a nice photo come here....take in the view - have one drink - and then go.

The getaway beers were lower in abv and tended to be lagers and pilsners, although they had a delicious porter on tap - all roasty and bitter chocolate. Food was great! I had baked wings and Neapolitan style pizza. The wings were seasoned really well and not mushy, as can happen with baked wings. The pizza has a nice chewy crust and tasty toppings. They also have a Detroit style. Bartenders were friendly and helpful. Attentive but not intrusive. Great experience!

First of all, let me say that I have every reason to wish that this place was great. The Golf Club…read moreof Dublin sits in the middle of the Ballantrae Subdivision, and I live there. The Club is within easy walking distance of my house, and not only would I love to be able to head over often for a nice meal, but the better they do, the better the neighborhood will do. So imaging my disappointment when we tried The Club's restaurant again, only to be let down by a boring menu, unenthusiastic staff, and a cold and uninviting environment. The Golf Club of Dublin has been operated by several companies since we moved here, and every time new management takes over they "revamp" and rename the restaurant. We always give them a try, but we have never been impressed. Our most recent visit was no exception. My wife and I walked over on a Saturday night in November. It was raining, so I understand that business from the course would be lacking. That said, we were the only two people in the entire place. It wasn't even 8:00, but you could tell that all the staff wanted to do was close early and leave. The atmosphere was ruined by the fact that every light in the place was turned on so that they could clean, and they made no effort to adjust for paying customers. The barmaid was polite but obviously annoyed that we had shown up, and the rest of the staff of seemingly unoccupied young men were hanging out in the bar area talking way too loud and horsing around. The menu is nothing special but not lacking in variety - typical pub food. The ruben that I had was bland and chewy, and my wife's burger was average at best. The fries were greasy, and everything seemed just a little less than clean - the glasses were cloudy, and the bar was sticky. Overall the food was okay for a public golf course snack bar, but to call this a nice restaurant is a stretch in my opinion...and that's the biggest shame of all. The clubhouse itself is a nice facility, and the customers are right here. Ballantrae has over 1100 single family units (and growing), and the average home price here is north of half-a-million. Each new owner/operator has marketed the place as something that it's not, but something that the neighborhood would welcome. I sincerely hope that my experience was atypical and just a symptom of a slow night.
