Auto Repair is a lot like Human Repair and frankly, going somewhere big and fancy with marble floors, a lobby barista, and a piano player by a fireplace means absolutely nothing when it comes to competence. In fact, there is likely an inverse relationship to the level of fancy amenities and ability to actually fix what is wrong. Glitz can cover up a lot and I guarantee that if I am shot or stabbed, I want to go to the County Trauma Center and not the place with building wings endowed by a sheik. The same is true for my LRs. When they need help, they go here and not the fancy dealer with the glass showroom. Owned and operated by Eric, he got his initial training by LR and then left the dealer to open his own shop. He was factory trained and I have been bringing my babies to him for about 20 years. In that time, he has been fair, given me some great advice, and helped me keep my LRs running well which is saying something as my newest one is 15 years old and my oldest ones are 23 years old. Prices are within reason (especially when compared to dealers) but the real win is that he and his staff know their way around a LR. Just drive onto their lot and it looks like a LR playground because there are no less than a dozen different ones parked there at any point in time to admire. Over the years his reputation and business has grown which speaks volumes as dedicated LR owners can be a fickle group and hold very specific requirements on who can actually touch their LRs. I let him touch mine. This place has a following that is well-deserved.

He noticed that the tires I had selected and paid for online (using what was suggested by the discount tires website when I entered my license plate) were not the right size and found that the higher quality tires that did fit were $70 less per tire! I often feel reluctant about car related purchases because I know they will be expensive and I feel like people will often try to sales pitch you into buying something even more expensive, but that was not the case here which I really appreciated. He did present me with a few extra add ons like new windshield wipers (which I did get, $21/wiper for a VW) and a new spare tire because mine is probably 10+ years old (which I did not get). I was refunded the difference between the cheaper tires + the wipers and the original price I paid and my car was ready in 45 minutes! This location is across the street from a Wing Stop, Noodles, & a Jersey Mike's. There were plenty of seats to wait in but it was also convenient to run across the street and grab lunch while my tires were being changed. Sounded like appointments were the way to go, walk ins on a busy day could have to wait up to 90 min. Highly recommend this place!

The last few times i have gone there, they have not had what I am looking for or they have old parts. This store is closer to my home but i am happy to drive a bit further to go to another in town. The people there are hit and miss. There is an older lady that seems crabby when you go in, there was a younger girl that was very helpful but not too experienced but she thanked me for teaching her something. That was nice.

Well our check went through the bank and for a few weeks we didn't hear from them and could not get a-hold of them either. They didn't answer their phone and you cannot leave a message. With the Covid-19 pandemic in it's early stages we were worried that maybe they were affected by it. We even called the police for a welfare check. They were fine! Fed up with them, on a Friday my wife stopped in and the place was dark, she walked in and there he was in his robe telling her that he has to calibrate it and would be done by Monday. Well it wasn't, and for another couple of weeks we still couldn't get a-hold of them. We eventually got it back and nothing had been fixed. At this point, we bought another one from somewhere else because of them and we're still trying to get our money back!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

They are able to look up the make, model, and year of your car to make sure that the windshield wipers you get are guaranteed to work for your car. I personally thought that the instructions that came with the windshield wipers were a little bit confusing so I went inside to ask for help and they showed me how it is supposed to go on my car and even watched as I put the windshield wiper on myself. As a 17 year old kid who had no idea what there are doing they were very helpful. Thanks so much!
