The tool was $32 to rent and when you return it within 48hrs you get your money back, was a easy process and very helpful. The employees here usually greet you and/or ask if you need help finding anything. The rewards card they have has been useless to me, I have never received anything from it. If you need anything for your vehicle they will have it or can get it with a wait on some items. The store is right off the freeway if you need to pull off while traveling and is open 7 days a week.

My husband and I took our car here after high praise from our friends. They did an oil change and…read moretire rotation on our car and it was amazing! Not expensive compared to other places and they did a great job. This was on 4/18/2026 We thought since they did such a great job before, why not take our car back? We took it back in for an alignment on 4/27/2026 after getting some parts replaced on our car from our personal mechanic. The parts replaced by our mechanic were purchased brand new and replaced only 2 days prior. They quoted us $120 for the alignment. After dropping it off for this service they called my husband and told him they couldn't do it because the tie rods (which were JUST replaced) were "messed up" and they needed to charge us an extra $250 to fix them. I called them and asked if they could just align it as best as they can and the man on the phone said, "we don't fix things "the best we can"" so at this point I told him to not touch the car since they were clearly trying to get us to spend more money. When I told him this he hung up on me. 20 minutes after my phone call with them they called my husband and told him the technician was "confused" and made a mistake, that they would now be able to do the alignment no problem. Alignments aren't done by new technicians typically since they require experience, they knew what they were doing, and unfortunately that was just trying to get more money out of us. We will not be bringing any of our cars back here.

The employees here will check your battery, wipers, tire pressure, air filter, fluids and light signals. They will let you know if you have any recommended services as well. I have never had to wait long here. I am usually in and out within twenty minutes. You can sign up for emails and receive coupons for a future $5/$10 discount. There is other services they provide here like a radiator flush, transmission flush etc., for an additional cost. I would recommend this place and it is the only place in Madera that I know of where you can stay in your car while your oil change is being done. If your hungry while the work is being done there is food within walking distance.

They blew up the fuel system on my brothers truck after a fuel filter change. They changed the fuel…read morefilter. They improperly put on the fuel filter. This caused a no start condition. After trying to replace the filter many times to see if that would work , it was towed to a mechanic shop where it is being diagnosed. Valvoline has said it is not their fault and will not willingly pay for damages. With this type of truck if it is the high pressure fuel pump that was damaged it could easily be a 10 thousand dollar fix. Never go to Valvoline oil change in Madera. Never. You have been warned
