DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I've given this shop multiple chances, but unfortunately, my…read moreexperience has been nothing short of criminal. I have spent over $4k over several months for the same unresolved issue. First, they misdiagnosed it as a bad throttle body. Then later admitted it never need one. Next, they claimed it was the PCV valve, which they had already replaced two years prior. When that didn't resolve the problem, they said I needed a new water pump and hoses, which failed to resolve the issue. Finally, they told me I needed a $4500 head gasket repair. At that, point, I sought a second opinion at the dealership. Only to learn the problem stemmed from the previous work, which had not be done properly. I am a teacher who cannot afford to pay thousands of dollars for "guesswork." Despite multiple chances, the shop has not offered any refund or attempt to make this right with me. At this point, based on the actions (or lack there of) of this shop, I no longer believe this is a case of gross incompetence. I believe it was done with intentional deceit and I can't with good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

We went to Katy Custom Finishes on the recommendation of another garage. We were glad they sent us…read morethere. We had a 2011 car that needed major repair. When we dropped it off, they told us that they could have trouble finding replacement parts on such an old car, and made sure that it wasn't the only car we used. They let us know they might not be able to help us, but they would try. It turned out that parts were not available for that specific car and despite searching, they were unable to restore it. The reason we gave them 5 stars is that they refused to let us pay them anything, and we know that it took them time to do their best to try to fix it. We appreciated their integrity and professionalism and would certainly recommend them again.

I took the list of recommendations and called Faith (spoke to Nate) and shared what was being recommended. He explained to me what they offered and what he would or wouldn't recommend. I set an appointment for Saturday morning around 9:30 and my car was ready by noon even though they were busy. Their cost compared to the dealership was slightly more than 50% cheaper. If you need reliable and cost efficient service I recommend them!

But I brought it to Faith Auto Repair, and now... my car looks and drives like nothing ever happened. The team here is incredible -- not just friendly and professional, but truly skilled and honest. They walked me through everything, gave me clear and fair pricing, and never once tried to upsell or rush me. You can tell they actually care about your safety and your car -- which is rare these days. I drive 45 minutes just to come here, because I trust them completely. They've always been transparent, quick, and respectful -- and the quality of work speaks for itself. Whether you've been in an accident or just need routine maintenance, I can't recommend Faith Auto enough. They've earned my business for life.

I went in for a simple oil change on Tuesday, 11/18, and the experience was completely…read moreunprofessional. The mechanic, Willie, was rude and appeared frustrated, tried to pressure me about brakes I didn't request, and repeatedly called me approximately four times back-to-back, even texting me while I was still at the shop -- luckily, I keep unknown callers on silent. They put the wrong oil (5W20 instead of the required 0W20, which is stamped on my oil cap) into my car without asking. I immediately called my usual mechanic, who confirmed that using the wrong viscosity can damage my engine. The oil filter was changed at the same time, meaning it now contains the wrong oil and should be replaced again, but the shop refused to do so. To make matters worse, the owner (I assume) tried to grab my receipt and nervously laughed when I took a picture documenting the mistake. They even left my car running with the windows down after the error was "corrected," creating a safety risk. This shop is careless, disrespectful, and clearly assumes women customers don't know anything about their cars. Women are fully capable of reading manufacturer recommendations and recognizing when something isn't right. I will never return and strongly caution others. I now have to closely monitor my vehicle to ensure it was corrected properly. Willie claimed he was "trying to help," but disregarding manufacturer recommendations is completely unacceptable. For the safety of both your vehicle and your sanity, I strongly advise going somewhere else.
