When I drove from LA to pick them up, I was thrilled to see that they did such a good job on the pair. I'll be sending all my carburetors to them in the future. The price was fair too. I paid $100 for both of them. There's another company who cleans carburetors with an ultrasonic machine and wants $135. The thing is, they can't remove the hard corrosion build-up. Ultrasonic only cleans dirt. Soda blasting is the best solution as it pulverizes everything but leaves the aluminum intact. Thanks Cal-Blast!

I called Mobile Jay expecting no response. Immediately, he picked up the phone call and is coming over to help me out. The fact that he's available during such an important time is incredible and deserving of 5 stars. Not to mention what an incredible person he is, definitely keeping him on my contacts for any future mechnical problems. Anyways, he came and looked at my vehicle. Inspected my liquids and found the coolant needed more coolant in it, which may have caused the problem. Then he inspected my battery and perhaps the modules are malfunctioning. In the end, the car was not fixed per se, and his OBDII didn't pick up on any codes. But... He gave me peace of mind. Which is invaluable. And my car is working now (due to disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, but whatever problem happened will probably happen again soon) Anyways, he came and did the job I wanted him to do. When in to borrow their code reader because my master () light was on for the past couple weeks and couldn't find the problem. After using both my personal scanner and theirs, it came back as 0 codes and in the green. They didn't have to, but they decided to look up possible reasons why both scanners read "0 codes" and said it could possibly be my brakes as that's an issue not connected to scanners but more the system itself. They referred me a mobile mechanic too if I wanted that extra reassurance who would be able to tell what exactly the issue can come from.
