Nutech Auto Repair - GTR Maintenance Service Done at NUTECH AUTO

All his prices are extremely reasonable and he doesn't force you to pay for services you don't need. He also takes the time to give you a full blown report and explanation for everything about your car. I've gone to him from simple oil changes to full blown 100k services and he always gets the job done without making me feel the pain other mechanics leave me with. He also warranties any service he does and stands by his workers. I appreciate Jimmy and team for working on all of my cars and my families. I highly recommend everyone to vent their cars to Jimmy. Or even do a user car inspection.

Not sure who I talked to but I think they were having a bad day and took it out on me. I was trying to get some information about potentially replacing my 2006 Honda Accord's heater core. I first asked if they do this service which they do. I don't say the year of the car yet...then he proceeds to tell me it's going to be "thousands of dollars." I say ok and "I'm just calling around to get some different prices to see if it's worth it for me to do this service, since the car is older." He says "it's not me to tell you if it is worth it or not that's up to you" yes that's why I am calling to see what my options are??? I've been trying to tell him the year, make and model this whole phone call and he keeps talking over me and assumes and says "well I can't just give you a price over the phone like $200 and then you're going to come in shop and expect that price, you need to come in so we can get the accurate price" so it went from thousands to $200? I know it wasn't going to be $200. I say "ok I would like to give you my year make and model now and if you could tell me a price range for my information." He says "$700" and I say "ok not too bad" but then berades me that is not the final price once again. Then he says it's $90 just to check if it's even the problem when I already know this is the problem because my trusted mechanic checked it. Otherwise I wouldn't have called here. That is ok with me that this business policy is to charge for this check, I just didn't appreciate that he was rude to me over the phone and assuming that I wanted an accurate estimate right then and there with no information about my car. Then the cherry on top of it all was not asking if I had any other questions, and hangs up on me. Based on this customer service alone it doesn't make me feel like this business is genuine and I will not be servicing my car here.

I was hoping I just needed brake pads for the front and hopefully not all 4 wheels at the time. They were very responsive and the quote was comparable to other places, if not better. Decided to take it in on a Friday in the morning. Checked my wheels and told me I just needed the front brake pads and rotors replaced. The back was still good. Sigh of relief somewhat. They were able to get the pads and rotors replaced for little under 3 hours. Time went by and they were updating me during the whole time. Great service and team here. Will definitely bring my car back in to get other services done. No issues whatsoever with the new pads and rotors.

PROBLEM: ALIGNMENT ISSUES, CUSTOMER SERVICE, ACCOUNTABILITY…read more When I first tried to leave a review, my account was somehow blocked from posting specifically for RTM, while I could still review other businesses. I contacted Yelp, and by coincidence, the representative I spoke with was also RTM's Yelp rep. He said it was strange that I couldn't post only for RTM. After I explained my situation, he advised me not to leave a review and instead take the matter to small claims court--which I did. During the hearing, the judge seemed to understand my side, but the ruling ultimately favored RTM. Despite being advised not to post this, I'm sharing my experience here because the situation still doesn't sit right with me--especially given Yelp's controversial review practices. On 10/1/25, my rear right adjustable control arm snapped. My car has aftermarket wheels, tires, and suspension components, so a precise alignment is critical to ensure proper fitment without rubbing the fender. I initially went to TM Auto (located across from RTM) for the control arm replacement. After installation, TM took my car to RTM for alignment. I specifically asked them to match the rear right alignment to the rear left, which was set at -2.8 degrees. When I went to pick up my car, I immediately noticed the rear right wheel did not match the rear left. The camber was visibly off. I pointed this out to the technician, but he insisted the alignment was correct and that there were no machine or human errors. After repeated requests, they put the car back on the rack, but instead of rechecking, two additional technicians came out and dismissed my concerns with questionable explanations: "Toyota made the fenders uneven." "Your control arm is made in Taiwan/China--what do you expect?" Despite putting the car back on the rack, they never rechecked the alignment. They simply removed the car and stood by their original claim. With no resolution, I had no choice but to drive the car home. Because the alignment was incorrect, my tires rubbed against the fender the entire way. The next day, I found heat damage, paint cracking, and visible wear on the fender. I came back the next day to talk to Richard (the owner) hoping he would recheck everything, but it was apparent he was "too busy"--despite clearly having time to talk with other customers and then continue working on another car, while ignoring me. I waited outside RTM for over an hour trying to speak with him. When the TM Auto manager asked if he had seen the damage, his response was, "Yeah, so what?"--with no concern at all. After is when I left, and was forced to go to another shop to realign--more driving, more damage done. I used a camber gauge and measured -2.8 degrees on the rear left and -2.0 degrees on the rear right. To confirm, I took the car to my trusted shop, Chewerks in La Habra, where they verified the rear right camber was indeed -2.0 degrees and did not match the left side. Their measurements matched mine exactly. Because RTM refused to recheck or correct their work, this improper alignment caused damage to my car. The rear left side tucks properly, while the rear right sticks out about half an inch, which led directly to the rubbing and damage. I had clear documentation and evidence, but the court still ruled in RTM's favor. I chose not to appeal to avoid spending more time on the matter. A nearby body shop, Cenco Auto Body, quoted over $1,800 to repair the fender (with another shop giving a similar estimate), confirming the extent of the damage. What could have been a simple recheck turned into a costly mistake. Despite everything, RTM did not offer any compensation or attempt to make things right. Seeing RTM's highly rated Yelp profile made their response even more surprising. They're quick to take your money with a smile when things go well, but when issues arise--as in my case--they deny responsibility and make no effort to make things right (In my case, they didn't take money directly, but a receipt was given to TM Auto, and I had to pay TM Auto--which is the same as paying RTM directly). TM Auto went as far as offering RTM to help cover the repair costs, but RTM still refused. TM Auto didn't have to step in for someone else's mistake, yet they still tried--that says everything. Richard (the owner) had my contact information through the small claims process, yet he never made any effort to contact me--even before we went to assigned court date. After what happened, I'm relieved I didn't bring my other cars first--especially since those cars are of higher value. It seems RTM has many satisfied customers, along with a smaller number of unhappy ones. Hopefully, you don't end up in the latter group like me. FWIW: Following the incident, I contacted Hunter to verify when RTM's rack was last calibrated. Abel (rep) advised that its calibration was set to expire later that month. This raises the possibility that their rack may have been out of calibration.

The process had not been easy elsewhere, but Karim immediately worked with us and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. We understood that pricing would likely be higher since our lease wasn't over yet, but Karim and Sunny never hesitated to work hard and find us the best deal possible. Before coming here, we visited other Hyundai dealerships that quoted us ridiculous numbers and barely made any effort to help us. The difference in customer service at Puente Hills Hyundai was night and day. I actually got my very first Hyundai from this dealership years ago, and that experience was just as smooth and positive. Joey my service advisor explains to us that there is an Oil dye test that they can do to see if the engine is in fact burning more oil than usual. We agree. Pay $100.00 and am told to bring the car back after I have driven it for 1000 miles. Once I reach that point a combustion cleaning will be done and then I need to drive for another 1000 miles. Once both test are complete the results will be submitted to the warranty department to have them approve a new engine. Ok great. We take it back after the first 1000 and I'm told I need to leave the car for a couple of days. "Ok no problem I can make arrangements" After 3 days I call Joey. He states the warranty department hasn't gotten back to him about the combustion cleaning. I explain to him at that time you did not tell me that the 2nd half of this test needs any type of approval you made it seem like it was part of the test as a whole. He apologizes and asks to give him a couple of days. At this point I need to borrow a car. Another week goes by with no communication I have to keep calling him for updates. After 1 week of me and my fiancé contacting him, He then states that the warranty department wants more service records but with photos of My odometer to confirm the miles of my last 3 oil changes. He cannot explain any further than that. I don't know of any mechanic that takes photos of every cars odometer when oil changes are performed. The warranty dept denies my claim, but joey states that if I like too, I can contact them and see what info they would like. I call the 1-800 number its customer service??? Come to find out there is NO direct line for the warranty dept. After about 1 month of going back and forth I am told to find photos of the miles of my odometer to show "proof" that my oil changes were completed on the date the receipts showed. I find the photos. I call Joey, explain that I have the photos the warranty department asked for. He asks for me to email them to him. I do so on 2-27-2026. I call one week later and again no updates no info. A little more than a MONTH goes by and nothing has happened. After contacting Joey every week, he gives me the same update "hi still haven't heard anything back". He again advises me to contact " the warranty" dept which again is customer service. I call and give the info to a man named Parth. I explain the whole situation from the first visit in November to now. He calls me back 1 week later and states that the request with new info HAS JUST BEEN submitted on 4-3-2026 by Joey. I'm furious and disappointed at this point. 6 WEEKS!!! have gone by and I'm thinking that all of new info has been submitted but it never was and I don't think it ever was at this point. After another 2 weeks I contact Joey again , he states my claim has been denied. I then email Parth in customer service, he calls me back and states that info is wrong that my claim is still pending. WHATTT??? Parth assures me he will do his best to get all the info the dealership to assist me. I explain to him at this point I only want to speak with him and The Service Dept manger (who by the way never called with any info or updates). After another Month, I get a "your claim has been denied by the warranty department due to neglect". Complete BS I have all of my services records since my first Oil change on my car. I have every from oil changes to brakes and everything in between. I do not believe that any or all of my records were provided to the warranty dept at Hyundai. This has been nothing but a nightmare since November of 2025. Joey was worst. No customer service, no communication, no compassion, and full of lies. In my family we have purchased 4 Hyundai's from this dealership in the past 6 years. You'd think they'd have some more respect for their customers. Unfortunately, that is just not the case. If I could give any one advice. Go to another dealership for assistance and Don't go to Joey. The warranty's they promote are just a smoke in mirrors type of deal. We do our part, complete they monthly payments for x-number of years and when we need help the warranty Is not there to assist us. This experience has so disappointing, I wouldn't wish this frustration on anyone.

Avoid This Shop - Deceptive Pricing and Shady Billing Practices…read more I was ready to do both repairs with them until the sketchy behavior started. Initial estimate: $1k-2k (rear) + $3k-4k (front). After $100 inspection, jumped to $5.3k (front) + $2.9k (rear). Red flags: David insisted $600 trunk repair "wouldn't be good enough" for my Tesla lease, pushed $2.9k replacement. After they missed bumper damage ($600), he suddenly said repair would "look just fine" and offered to "make it even at $2.9k." That's $1,200 worth of work for $2,900--when I asked for itemized invoices, he refused and ghosted me, claiming "system doesn't allow it." At pickup, they handed me an invoice for $4.1k. Then printed a SECOND invoice--same $4.1k total but R&R costs, labor, and parts had shifted by hundreds of dollars, plus a mysterious $1,322 "discount" we never received. How do line items change while the total stays identical? Called my mom (an accountant) to review. After nearly 2 hours of them insulting her for asking legitimate questions, they claimed it was "accounting between two shops to avoid double-taxing our deposit"--ironic since they offered $300 cash discount to dodge taxes. Staff contradicted themselves: first said OEM part (explaining scratches), then insisted it was "brand new" when questioned. Found a PDR specialist who did the rear for $600 (vs their $2,900)--excellent work. Also: they're NOT Tesla-certified despite advertising "certified Tesla technicians".
