I met Shaw around a year ago when he was a mobile business. He came to my home and replaced both of my headlights. You might call him a headlight guru. He knows everything there is to know about automotive headlights. Well, this week I noticed I had a headlight warning light on my dash. I found that one of my headlights was turning on and off intermittently. This review is a long-time coming. I contacted Shaw back in August 2025. It looked like a taller vehicle had backed into our car, causing some scratches on the hood of our car and cracking/breaking both protective headlight covers. I was afraid we would have to replace the headlights at the dealership which would've been exponentially expensive. I met up with Shaw and he said he'd be able to replace the headlight covers and save the existing headlights. I gave him a deposit. He ordered the covers. Once they arrived (one week later), he came to our house to remove the headlights to repair the damage at his shop. He returned another week later to reinstall the repaired lights, The lights looked completely brand new, like nothing had ever happened to them. In total, I would say it took a month from our initial meeting until he reinstalled the lights. It was so worth it to go with Vivid Headlights and Shaw! Shaw is a very nice guy and punctual. He arrived on time and gave me options on the light bulb. I went with restoration for my headlights because the top coat came off. And I also changed my bulb to LED. It looks great, the total for restoration was $150, labor cost $100, and lights was $76-$80 I believe, I saved a couple bucks from the original estimate, Shaw chose the best one that fit my car for a better price (correction; I misheard him regarding the bulbs condition for the application, he carries different types of LED). My total was $336.19 instead of $340. He finished in 45 minutes, and gave me good advice on how to clean and keep my car from damaging. After degrading the work done by the previous LED custom fabrication contractor, he took my bumper off, told me my lights were not working and that he did not have to parts to fix it. I basically flushed $185 down the toilet while listening to this clown complain about the previous LED contractor's work. Avoid this guy. Excellent work on my 2017 911S. The best way to fix the "crazing" on my Porsche lenses was replacement. Porsche does not sell new lenses but Shah was able to perfectly install new aftermarket lenses. This is a very precise job as these are not meant to be taken apart. Porsche's solution is buying 2 new headlights at ~$4000 each! Not including install. He had an opening the same week I called for a quote. 3. Boy did he works HARD on my busted up Mercedes ML350 SUV that is my baby!! I bought that car when I "made it" as a professional and its a 2009 yet looks easily only about 4-5yrs old. He replaced the headlights in my driveway with admirable efficiency. It's not his concern if my headlights are tinted. Good service but he tried to fork out an extra $150 to "upgrade" my headlights on the spot. Overall the service was good and fast but he tried to sell me on stuff I didn't need which is not acceptable at all.
