I ordered the IQ Air masks (literally the best I have ever had). I am so grateful to have found this company. I had a few questions and dealt with Christina in Customer Service. She was so kind, smart and took time to really answer. She is a great representative for the company. Again, the Masks are so good, comfortable and make me feel so secure when I travel that I am giving them as gifts to friends. read more

I purchased a couple of IQAir HealthPro units for around $4,500-$5000, since my son and wife have bad allergy reactions, unfortunately, after a year one of them has already stopped working. What has been especially disappointing is the customer service. Replies can take around 24 hours, and in my experience, responses often come right around 8PM Eastern Time. For repairs, the unit has to be shipped to California, and the repair/shipping costs are out of pocket. Given the price of these machines, I expected much better reliability and customer support. Based on my experience, I would not recommend IQAir HealthPro, particularly if you live outside the Los Angeles/California area and may need service or repairs. $4,500 is a significant investment, and I expected a much better ownership experience. I have Cheaper HathaSpace air purifier in my house that last for years. read more

QAir Failed to Deliver on Their Promise When My Health Depended on It I am an Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency patient. Because of this rare genetic condition, my body is missing a critical protein that helps protect my lungs from smoke, allergens, viruses, and other airborne pollutants. Clean air isn't a luxury for me--it's a medical necessity. I am currently visiting family in Wisconsin, where our area has been blanketed for nearly a week by hazardous wildfire smoke from Canada and Minnesota. Air quality has been extremely unhealthy, making it difficult and dangerous for me to breathe. Despite staying indoors with all the windows closed and wearing an N95 mask almost constantly, I have already lost my voice, and my doctor has placed me on high-dose steroids because of the smoke exposure. When I saw the smoke moving into our area, I immediately researched the best medical-grade air purifiers available. After comparing multiple brands, I chose IQAir because of its reputation. Before placing my order on July 16, I specifically confirmed with IQAir that my air purifier would arrive within 2-3 days--Saturday at the earliest and Monday, July 20, at the absolute latest. I even called back a second time to verify the delivery date because I explained that if it could not arrive by then, I would cancel my order and purchase another medical-grade purifier from Amazon instead. IQAir assured me 100% that my unit would arrive no later than Monday. Today is Monday. FedEx now shows my air purifier will not arrive until Thursday, July 23--a full seven days after I placed my order. When I contacted IQAir customer service, they acknowledged there was nothing they could do. Their solution? A standard 10% discount on a nearly $1,000 air purifier. This completely misses the point. This wasn't about a delayed package. This was about a company making a promise to someone with a serious lung disease and then failing to deliver when that promise mattered most. Had IQAir been honest about the shipping timeline, I would have immediately ordered another purifier from Amazon and likely would have had clean air days ago. Instead, I trusted IQAir's word. That decision has cost me days of breathing hazardous air while relying on an N95 mask inside my family's home, losing my voice, and requiring high-dose steroids to manage my symptoms. Premium companies charge premium prices because customers expect premium service. If you cannot honor the delivery commitments you make--especially when customers explain that their health depends on them--you should not make those promises. I purchased IQAir because I believed they cared about protecting people's health. My experience has shown me otherwise. Until IQAir demonstrates that it values its commitments to customers as much as it values its premium pricing, I cannot recommend this company. Not because of the product itself--I haven't even received it--but because a company that fails to honor its promises to a medically vulnerable customer has failed where it matters most: TRUST read more

I ordered a replacement V5-Cell filter from the iQAir website. Upon opening the shrink wrap, black powder was all over the counter where I opened it and also all over my hands. I called them and emailed them a photo showing the powder and they said this is normal! So I'm trying to get clean air by using a purifier but the filter for the purifier is going to be generating black dust and creating a mess? Please do not buy any of their products that contain the V5-Cell filter or you will have to deal with this mess. I have sent the filter back to them at my expense for a refund. Edit: I did reach out to iQAir per their offer in response to this review. They will be sending me a check for the return shipping expense that I incurred. I have upgraded my review from 1-star to 2-stars. However, I still think that that one should not have to deal with such a mess when changing filters. Therefore, if you need to buy an iQAir purifier, I would recommend their cheaper model that doesn't use the V5-Cell filter. And if you need a purifier that deals with odors, probably better to try another brand that doesn't have this issue. read more

I recently purchased an IQAir GC MultiGas XE Air Purifier directly from IQAir.com, expecting a brand new unit. However, within just five minutes of setting it up and connecting it to Wi-Fi, I noticed the usage meter showed over 40 minutes of prior use. When I called their customer service line, the representative confirmed that a truly brand new unit should display zero usage time out of the box. This clearly wasn't the case. Frustrated, I faced the inconvenience of repacking and returning what was clearly a used item--despite having paid full price for a new one. Now, I'm stuck waiting another week before I can purchase a unit from Austin Air instead. Selling used products as new without offering a discount or even acknowledging the issue is unacceptable. If a company can't be trusted to get the simple things right--like shipping a new item as promised--I have no confidence in their ability to handle anything more complex. I will not be trusting IQAir with my business again. I'm one week out from getting a Austin Air System. Hope IQAir "ethical staff" realizes that shipping a product out with a odometer for usage is only going to fool the lower hanging fruit of the world. read more

Hi Tech Air Monitor, Great for someone with health concerns. I purchased the IQAIR monitor to track the air quality in my home and outside air as I often have the windows open throughout the day. After recent unforeseen fires in the area, I quickly realized how important air quality makes a difference in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I own a home purification system, so the IQAIR device is a very compact, efficient and easy to use system that helps me identify pollutants in the air while complementing the purifier. The two systems work hand in hand with one another. Using this system, I am able to track real time data of temperature, humidity and C02 levels. This system is perfect for anyone to use no matter what age because of its color-coded display. It let's you know if the air quality is good, okay and bad. Not to mention, the set-up process was easy to follow along. The device connects to your home wifi and the application can be downloaded directly to your smartphone. The app stores the data while collecting real-time information so that you can go back and reference to previous recordings. I am Looking forward to purchasing this device for family members and friends. I would recommend this device for anyone dealing with respiratory or chronic health issues as it is a proactive way of staying on top of the air quality you breathe, which directly affects your health outcome. read more

10/29 I haven't received a new update on my order. The expected 10/15 fulfillment never happened. I'm not surprised anymore. Definitely terrible service and I am now debating returning product as who knows when I'll ever receive an undamaged unit. What a SHAME! read more

The products themselves are great. But how they operate... not so much. Don't order through the IQAir website, that's for sure. This is at least the 3rd time in 2 years when I've ordered when shipping labels have been printed too soon prior to shipment, causing confusion as to when the order would arrive. And customer service thru "text" simply doesn't work. Also, the website sometimes won't let you order at all, and the buttons instead show "Find a Dealer" rather than "Buy." So you can't even get to the products or shopping cart. This has been the case for over a year. Some sort of strange browser/cookie issue (which you can replicate on multiple computers/browsers). It's like their ecommerce folks don't even use the website to test. I'll have to order thru Amazon (only if it ships from Amazon), or choose a different manufacturer entirely, which is sad, considering I've been a customer since 2007 - I have 9 of the HealthPro Plus units, between home and office. Ultimately, I was forced to cancel the most recent order because there's (apparently) no way to confirm in less than 24 hours if an order has actually shipped. Sorry folks, but that's simply inexcusable. This is 2021. There are plenty of systems that would allow you to determine what's going on at any given time. And if you don't have such a system, then shame on you for taking online orders at all. If IQAir is subcontracting fulfillment, then they need to change vendors because they are damaging the IQAir brand. read more

I purchased this $400 unit on Amazon and received it today, eight days later. You'd think German engineered products from a company that's all about fastidiousness and health would at least know how to pack their products. I must confirm for you that this was shipped direct from IQ Air, not Amazon. The box was large and had one single piece of tape affixed to the box, as shown in the photo. Of course one piece of tape was not enough, and the box was wide open when FedEx brought it to my door, and he was as annoyed as I was. He even made the point to say, "look inside!" There was no packing of any kind around the box that contained the IQAir Atem home personal air purifier. This made me think that maybe the product could be broken since there proper packaging wasn't done. Then came the assembly. Yes, assembly was required, and it wasn't an easy assembly like it was with my Dyson and Hathaspace purifiers. After many calls and leaving my phone number I finally got someone who said she would transfer me to someone rather than the previous reps who said they'd have someone call me back, which never happened. It took another half an hour of additional hold time but finally someone got on the phone and someone successfully walked me through the assembly process. It's important to note that the tech rep confirmed to me that there are no assembly videos from IQAir, though there will be one. LOL. This unit's been around for nearly two years! I spent quite a bit of my morning trying to find something online since I wasn't getting a callback. Unbelievable! One immediate drawback is there's no remote, but there is bluetooth connectivity. Another thing IQAir doesn't have is screen sharing technology so they can see what you're talking about and doing so they can guide you so it doesn't take forever on the phone. Shark vacuums even has that technology in place. I will update my review in a month after I have used this and hopefully I'll have zero complaints. Oh and one thing I do LOVE is the sound this product makes when you turn it on. It's quite fabulous. read more

I believe they have some of the best products in the business. I just picked up the Atem X. Looks good and works great. I especially like the integrated sensor. The CO2 meter is the best tool at the moment so I can see how high my CO2 levels are in my place. They were really high when I brought it in, but after putting it on high and opening the window I was able to bring those numbers down to a healthy level. Great product, highly recommended. read more

This year has been interesting to say the very least and I never thought I'd be someone who would invest in an air purifier, despite my allergies. COVID came around and because I am still going in to the office for work, I decided to purchase one to ensure that the air is well circulated around my desk. I bought air purifiers from other brands for my family, but ultimately I chose to purchase the Atem personal air purifier for myself. It looked modern, albeit bigger than I would have preferred, and just what I needed for work. Reading back on other people's reviews regarding shipping, I personally didn't have an issue with shipping; I actually received the package earlier than what I expected from Amazon! I'm thinking it was because many people recently bought air purifiers at the beginning of the pandemic and it caused a lot of shipping delays. All in all, it was a pricey, but practical investment. read more

Outstanding customer service (thank you Valerie L.!!!) and the sales team. Using my two HPP units for years now and just purchased one for my son, who works in LA. If you are local, I recommend driving to the showroom/sales , checking the units and getting a the one that is perfect for you. Ask salesperson for a little discount that they sometimes have. World-class Swiss designed and manufactured products that work perfectly and last decades. Do buy OEM filters from IQAir (I personally order through Amazon), otherwise you are wasting money... on speeds 1 or 2 (most used for continuous operation speeds) the new v2 motor units are literally inaudible. I have heard very good things about their product... But in terms of customer service they have been terrible to deal with. They have not send me any receipts although I am making payments on a very expensive purifier. When I request for an invoice it's like pulling teeth. To the point where I am questioning if this is even in a legitimate business. And if I'm actually sending my money to a scam? They are so non-communicative about my payments that I am about to get in the car and drive all the way to La Mirada to see if in fact this is really the business. When I call again today to ask for an invoice I'm told " everyone's in a meeting for the rest of the day." I've already paid about $600 and I have no clue if I'm really going to be mailed an air purifier. It might be a great product but the customer service is the worst. read more

I commute over 45 minutes a day to work, and everyday I cross the freeway so I know what its like to breathe polluted air and poisonous fumes. I use to have an air purifier installed in my car but it was so weak and did not make a difference in cleaning the air. With this product though, you can clearly notice the difference significantly. When on the road, the air produced makes you feel so refreshed and clean. This purifier is so easy to install and once installed, barely takes up any space leaving a lot of room or many other uses. The design is really what takes it away it has a sleek and modern look that matches beautifully with the interior of the car. read more

I suffer from allergies, have my whole life, and my husband has trouble sleeping when outdoor air is not good. We looked through many monitors with simple requirements- easy to understand, good size, worked easily for both indoor and outdoor, and (as a plus) had a mobile app. The mobile app, Air Visual app, made it easy to set up the device and understand levels and trends. I like the fact that I can monitor the AQ through the App even when I'm away. If I had a Nest (or other smart thermostat) it would be cool to be able to turn the AC on and off depending on your Air Visual Pro readings. Like plenty of others have noted, with the airvisual, you are able to carry it around (due to its 3 hour battery) and locate leaks and seal them with tape. Before we identified leaks, we had bad headaches and sore throats. Afterward, our air purifiers were able to clean and we had air close to 0 AQI in most rooms! The PM2.5 sensor is a professional laser sensor and is extremely accurate. You can change the sensing to continuous when it's critical to get an instant reading. It's critical for your health and peace of mind. All in all, a great device that provides useful info for my family and I. Definitely glad I purchased this, 5 stars and a high recommendation! read more

If you are okay with spending $$$$ and receive NO UPDATE AT ALL for a couple weeks then go ahead and purchase. The quality of customer experience is in the 90's. I placed an order 8 days ago - no confirmation email, no delivery update at all. SENT EMAIL 3 TIMES, NO RESPONSE OVER A WEEK. I don't even know my email went through as I didn't hear anything at all. I called CS multiple times but the queue is amazingly long, waited over 30 minutes and gave up. I understand that the demand is high right now. But if you are selling a $1000 worth machine, spend money and hire people. Hire a good smart people out there and hire enough customer reps to respond. This year I tried reaching out to IQ innumerable times and could not reach anyone and have countless email and phone records, as do many of the other reviewers here. I purchased one machine in the spring and it was never shipped and was delayed multiple times with no notice. When I was finally able to reach IQ Air AFTER MONTHS OF NOT BEING ABLE TO REACH THEM VIA PHONE OR EMAIL AND MULTI HOUR PHONE WAITS they said I should purchase a second, higher priced system because the first one was so delayed. I am honestly totally shocked that Valerie has to resort to lying when there countless terrible reviews on Yelp and BBB all stating the same facts. Wow. If this "company" focused more on their actual service rather than attacking clients with baseless claims they may actually have a real company. Will be reporting this to Yelp and the AG today. Asking for a large discount because this company wasted HUNDREDS of HOURS of your TIME for a MEDICAL DEVICE AND IS COMMITTING FRAUD BY NOT SHIPPING PRODUCTS WITHIN SEVERAL MONTHS OF POCKETING YOUR MONEY--- is normal. In my case, I paid for the first system in May/June, and had not received it or any update in several MONTHS. ALL ATTEMPTS AT COMMUNICATION with the company were not viable. How is this allowed to happen in America? I have worked with innumerable companies and this is by far the worst customer service. Don't take my word for it- read the hundreds of other reviews!! Kisses! I am totally shocked that this person is lying and will be filing the complaint with the AG and every consumer board today. This is unacceptable. I will do everything in my power to protect the public from this atrocious disgusting behavior. All I am doing, Valerie, is making the way you conduct business public. If you have a problem with the way your company does business you have only yourself to blame. Please note: Company uses innumerable excuses of "wildfires," etc., when they have not responded to anyone since April!!! LMAO, how many excuses can one company come up with?!?! ITS NOVEMBER 13!!! Edited 9/21/20 in response to Valerie L.- to be very clear, after asking only 3 questions, IQAir's representative said, "IS THiS GOING TO BE YOUR LAST QUESTION?? ANYMORE QUESTIONS BEFORE I GO??" before he clearly hung up while we were still talking . It was not a dropped call. The representative was clearly impatient and extremely rude. If you take the time to read the other reviews, you will see a trend in rude, poor customer service. Valerie, I may have not remembered the name of the representative and quite possibly, your staff purposely did not give his name. But what I do clearly remember is just how bad IQAir customer service is and the yelp community should be made aware of this. Original review: CUSTOMER SERVICE ALERT. My wife and I were on a call with an IQAir representative (9/14/20, 12:40 PM) for approximately 4 minutes and the representative (male) intentionally hung up the call during one of our questions. During the call, we asked several questions on IQAir's portable and whole home air purifiers and the rep answered them. Right before he hung up, he started to sound impatient, and then suddenly hung up the phone while my wife was asking about the different features between the versions. It's absolutely a shame, because we were impressed with IQAir's products, but apparently they do not value their customers. I recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more
