Went for a tour during the wedding planning process in January. Let me tell you, the instant we walked in, we felt a palpable difference compared to other venue tours. The manager Steve greeted us personally and offered us a drink. The fireplaces felt so cozy and warm. The cocktail hour library and the main area are gorgeous. The chapel is stunning with a brand new addition, a groomsmen getting ready "man cave" complete with a wine cellar, pool table, tvs and kitchenette. The bridal suite is gorgeous with a bar and a balcony. And the ballroom is absolutely stunning. There is also a gorgeous garden with a babbling brook, koi pond, and scenic bridge. We were here for a wedding a few years ago and this time my wife helped to plan a wedding here. The staff is very helpful to help the ceremony go smoothly and efficiently. The premise is beautiful and they now have a beautiful chapel for indoor wedding which can hold about 270+ people. The acoustics in the chapel is also pretty good. The food is pretty good, above average wedding food. Plenty of food during the cocktail hour and the prawns for the main course were huge. Lots and lots of desserts. The bride and groom brought their own vase and candles for the tables and the staff helped to clean them and packed them in boxes. My wife helped planned quite a few weddings, I don't think I've seen staff that helpful. They have lightings on the tree and the windows on the inside which makes the evening look extra special. read more

I had my wedding here a month ago and I must say I felt so blessed to have had Jason as our Maître d' & Kristal as our bridal attendant. Our timeline was tight but Jason kept us going and had our time checks in place to accomplish each item we had listed to get done. Kristal was great with outfit changes, bustling my wedding gown and being a great & fast repairer with my husband's tuxedo button that flew off! Our venue had everything they promised & our guests left full & happy with all the selections during cocktail hour. I love the decor of the venue around Christmas time as it adds to the festive occasion. Definitely consider Nanina's as a venue, they wont disappoint. The staff was so attentive and a special "shout out" to Sally and Jason who took such good care of all the bridal party and the guests. Sally was with us from 6:30 am when the bride maids and mothers showed up until we left at midnight -- Amazing! The entire place was decorated for Christmas and absolutely beautiful, the food (oh the food) was delicious, and it was an overall relaxed and wonderful event. About 10 years ago I knew I wanted to get married at Naninas in the Park. I didn't know when that would be or to whom but I knew I wanted to get married there. I worked for Naninas as a server for a couple years and the experience was AMAZING. The venue amazed me every single time I stepped inside and it still does to this day. On May 1st, 2022 my dream became a reality. I married the man of my dreams at my dream venue. The second I pulled up to the venue Julian greeted me and had my trunk open to grab my stuff before I even got out of the car. I was escorted to the bridal suite where I met Moon, my bridal attendant. She was the best from the second I got there until the second I left. She had everything I needed and more, she did everything I needed and more. She exceeded my expectations. When I was on the dance floor she would grab my empty glass and hand me a full one. When I sat back down at my table, she had drinks there waiting for me. She made sure I had everything I needed at ALL TIMES! I booked and planned my entire wedding in 6 months and Naninas made it EASY! Vicky helped me with EVERYTHING. Vicky was there to answer my random texts whether 8AM or 1AM. She made sure every detail of my wedding was perfect. Vicky made sure I had fun all night and she made sure everything was seamless. Attended my third wedding here as of recently. Attending this venue multiple times has left me with some impressions. First, it's very consistent. The staff, the food, the ambiance, etc. are all top class. Cocktail hour has been impressive each time with a wide selection and delicious food. Shrimp and garlic, seafood station, skirt steak, etc. are all perfect! Entree's of filet mignon and stuffed shrimp are absolutely out of this world. Amazing time here a few weeks ago for a wedding! This venue is enforcing Covid-19 safety measures. From temperature checks, to masks wearing, to plexi glass up at every station during cocktail hour they did a phenomenal job. Everyone had a great time. Let me start by saying I've been to this venue for weddings multiple times and it's been top notch every single time! This place is known for their cocktail hour but last night, not sure if it's because it was their last wedding of the year but I noticed some of the food was stale. The prosciutto alone look horrible, didn't look fresh at all. Major gripe last night was an incredible rude staff lady who worked the Mac & Cheese station. I noticed a few guest were saying how obnoxious she was. Also they should have announced the downstairs same time as the main cocktail room to alleviate some foot traffic as the first 30 minutes was an absolute traffic jam. Planning with the team was a dream and they took so much stress off of the process. They are amazing. Steve and Amy helped plan our wedding and she was our Maitre'D on the day of. She was always accessible when we needed to ask anything and made us feel extremely relaxed. She was in the middle of planning her own wedding but you would never know because she was always helping with ours. THE FOOD!!! People are still talking about the food. Every single crumb was delicious. We are secretly hoping someone we know gets married there so we can go as guests. We are even planning to host future events here just so we can come back!!! I didn't even know a bridal attendant for the day of was a thing but boyyyy do you need one. Which brings me to: Mounia. I can not begin to express my gratitude for Mounia. Did someone send her from heaven because she was a literal ANGEL on my wedding day. She took care of things before I even thought of them or had the chance to ask about them. She touched up my makeup every step of the way and made sure my hair and veil looked exactly how I wanted before each set of photos were taken. She carried ALL my stuff for me so it was handy whenever I needed anything. She made sure I was fed, hydrated and comfortable. Speaking of comfortable, she literally got on her hands and knees to change my shoes under the table while my husband and I got to sample food from cocktail hour. All for the sake of saving time so we could enjoy cocktail hour with guests. WOW! She moved a mile a minute and was somehow always right there when I needed anything. I now consider her a friend and can not imagine what my wedding would have been like without her. She made a drastic difference in how I felt overall and the marvelous outcome of everything. I feel like I need to call every wedding venue to make sure their bridal attendant game is on par with Mounia. There are no single words to describe my experience with her and all of the Nanina's team. Just went to a beautiful wedding at Nanina's. I wasn't the bride but the whole affair was one of the most beautiful and lavish that I've ever seen. We had cocktails in the lounge downstairs for about 20 min and then were able to go upstairs for appetizers for about an hour, then the main room opened. Dessert was served where the appetizers were served. The facilities are beautiful. It felt like a fairytale and the ambiance was impeccable. My favorite part was the apps-- the family had station after station after station of burgers, made to order steak pies, sushi, oysters, chinese food, you name it. Everything was amazing and my favorite was the filet mignon on a piece of bread. Melt in your mouth. The only thing I didn't like was the main meal, surprisingly. I had the chateaubriand and it was amazing. People around me had the chicken and it appeared to be undercooked. Luckily, no one was too hungry after the big spread of apps. My husband and I were married at Nanina's in the Park on 10/21/2022. From the moment we had met with Steve during our initial consultation, we were sold on having our wedding there. From the beautifully manicured grounds, to the food/drink options, to having a venue assist with every aspect of our special day, we were so happy to have chosen Nanina's! VENUE: 10/10 - the updated ballroom and bridal suites (x2) are stunning. Our wedding party opted to get ready the morning of in the bridal suite and we were catered to with an assortment of breakfast options. Nanina's has 3 beauty stations for hair/makeup and private bathrooms within the suite, along with couches, a bar, and a huge table to gather around. They also had this iPad where you could play music in the entire room, and open the double doors to get some fresh air/see how things were coming along outside. The men were catered to in the groom's suite and were served lunch and beverages. They all raved about the food they were served and had a fun time getting ready. The downstairs cocktail hour was the perfect location to take more masculine pictures of my husband. The warmth of the room made it feel cozy while you received your first drink and cocktails. The ballroom is absolutely fabulous - they have multiple options for how the room can be set-up too in regards to tables and chairs. They have different lighting options (for a cost), and accommodate everything from table linens to plates. THE FOOD: 10/10 - the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Anything you could think of, Nanina's had or offered! We had opted to add a fresh pulled mozzarella table during our cocktail hour and our guests RAVED about it. Cocktail hour at Nanina's in unmatched - the food never seemed to end! Guests really enjoyed the wide variety, and they had plenty of tables to sit/stand at, with lots of bars/waiters to serve top-shelf drinks. Months later, our guests are still talking about our wedding food. We did opt to give our guests the option to chose their dinner meals day-of, and people loved that they weren't stuck with choosing beforehand - they also allowed us to give a few options between meat, fish, and vegetarian which was an added bonus - something for everyone. We also loved that Nanina's had a Viennese table, and we were able to chose from 2 bakeries for our wedding cake (we went with Calandra's Bakery). The bars were fully staffed with top-shelf liquor, in addition to some ice sculptures around the room for guests to grab drinks. THE STAFF: 10/10 - We cannot thank the following individuals enough: Liz, Steve, Sally (AM Bridal Attendant), Moon (PM Bridal Attendant), Cyrus (Maitre D), Vicky, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some more but these were the individuals who really made our day so special. - Liz did an outstanding job scheduling us to see the grounds, giving us her very honest opinions, which we truly appreciated, providing us with outstanding recommendations for our welcome dinner, food truck vendors, hotels/transportation, and overall coordinating all of our little details. She fielded all of our phone calls, emails, and concerns, and handled them with such professionalism, we couldn't have had our special day without her years of knowledge and patience in the months leading up to our big day. Any special requests we had, she made happen. Liz was really our go-to for everything - from making sure our ceremony chairs were 6-inches apart, to looking into specific wines we had liked, to handling our table place cards, we were super thankful to have her on our wedding day! - Vicky created a special round menu for our dinner plates - it was this added touch that we were so happy to have had our wedding at Nanina's because they went above and beyond. We can't thank her enough for making sure they came out beautiful! - Cyrus was there to ensure our day went smoothly and to make sure everyone in the bridal party + family were attended to, as well as ensuring our guests had an amazing time/experience. He was so tentative to our needs as the bride and groom and really commanded the room for moving things along. He was so sweet and calm, and really made us laugh when he brought our our "bride and groom bibs" when we had eaten our cocktail hour food in the bridal suite. His demeanor throughout the day was to ensure it was the best ever. - Sally was AMAZING! We had an issue with my dog getting dirt on my white "getting ready" PJ's and Sally was able to make them brand new! She helped steam our PJ's/dresses, attended to getting us food/drinks, and was so helpful in maintaining a fun attitude while getting ready. She also helped me get into my dress which was super helpful, as every bride can attest to that struggle. She also was so sweet, making small conversation with all of my bridesmaids and bridal party, and had a very calming presence. - Moon was the real MVP of the entire day! You may be doing someone a huge favor by avoiding this business completely. I am going to preface this by saying how absolutely disgusted and appalled I am by Nanina's in the Park. When my husband and I were considering wedding venues 8 years ago, this place was on our list. We decided on The Tides for their stellar reputation and beyond reasonable prices. The best decision we've ever made. Our wedding was flawless, and service, food, experience was superb. That being said, what kind of business operates in such a manor? You're only as good as your reputation, and as far as I'm concerned Nanina's should go out of business. Never, have I ever seen anyone treated so poorly in an emergency situation. My husband is injured, can barely walk, and they have the nerve to call the police to complain because they're preparing for a wedding. What happened to common decency? What happened to helping people in need. At the very least, the individual who accosted my husband and mother in law should be fired. If you're thinking of ever having an event at Nanina's, I would reconsider immediately. Unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. Tell your friends, and your friends of friends. My mom and I were heading home from dropping some stuff off at my uncle's, and we were on Mill street making a left turn from Mill street onto Franklin Ave and mom's car just stalled, we tried to get the car started but would not stay running long enough to move the car. A very nice gentleman standing at the corner waiting for the bus came over and help us and push the car into Nanina's Driveway entrance so we were not stuck in the middle of the Franklin ave Mill street intersection. While mom was on the phone with AAA to get a tow truck a very rude and nasty employees of Nanina's came out and asked us to move the car, my mom and I both explained that our car died in the middle of the intersection amd some one help us push the car off the street into safety, this employee then told us we needed to move our car because they had a wedding, and had limos and other people showing up at 845 am, this guy didnt even offer to help push the car even after mom tried to explain that I had a leg injury and could not help, this gentleman then said well you can move the car to the back of our parking lot and wait for your tow truck. This guy even called belleville police. A passer by offered to help push the car to the back of Nanina's parking lot. read more

The grounds, food, bridal suite, cocktail hour set up, ballroom layout, reception, overall service - maitre d, bridal attendants AND staff are truly unmatched. My husband and I are so happy we booked our special day here and are dying to be a guest at another Naninas wedding in the near future. Since it was Christmas season (decor was up for the season thru Little Christmas, 1/6) we got to take advantage of the beautiful lights and seasonal holiday decorations (lit Christmas tree in entrance and library, poinsettias, decorated mantle in ballroom, etc.) Throughout the day (and leading up) everyone was extremely polite and professional. The communication was top notch - they answered any and all questions. We felt so prepared after our finals meeting which was such a relief 1 month out. Came here for my cousins wedding last weekend. First the positive. The place is beautiful with gardens and gazebos outside and a lovely area for cocktail party that includes separate rooms including a very cozy one with couches and a roaring fireplace. The venetian table was more like the venetian room with an array of desserts unlike any I have ever seen. The creme brulee was outstanding. The negatives: Can't really speak for cocktail party food as I picked at best. Not a fan of buffet style food at all and what I had (a cold baked clam, stuffed mushroom) was not impressive but other members of my family seemed to be enjoying it, like I said buffet style and me don't mix well. The actual dinner had a good salad but my Chatteau Briand was overcooked and didnt have enough sauce. The staff was actually very obtrusive tbh constantly stepping in between guests to refold napkins. I wanted mine unfolded! Also leaning over people to serve food is not a great idea as I ended up getting salad spilled on my pants. Been to Nanina's on several occasions for weddings, birthdays, etc... The food is fantastic! The display of the food is fantastic! See my pics. I recently went to a birthday party and it was buffet style. Love, love, love, the appetizer table. The prosciutto slices we hanging for an easy grab. The seafood salad was to die for. The fruit on the fruit platter appear to have be sliced with a slicer for a neat, colorful and uniformed appearance. The servers were walking around with bite sized sandwiches, burgers, and seafood delights. The dance floor is a couple of steps down from the dining area. I like the separation. It works! There is a raised ceiling in the center of the room which is painted to look like the sky with built in skylight windows. Combined with the chandeliers, it looks really great and adds to the ambiance, especially during a sunny day. The servers were polite and helpful.
