When Nando's first became a 'thing', I went pretty regularly. As time went by though, I realised I'm not actually much of a fan. But we hadn't been for at least a year, so when Brian wanted to go, I was game. It was mother's day so it was a bit busy but we got a table upstairs after about 5 minutes. We couldn't get phone reception but we could pick up the wifi from the shopping centre. My go-to order is a chicken caesar salad with a side of garlic bread, and I didn't see the point in changing now. I did though plump for the (new to me) half an avocado. I had a hard time choosing between the avocado and the halloumi, but I was happy with my avocado. Unfortunately this time the salad was really, really over-dressed and I couldn't eat a lot of it. Fortunately it's a big salad and I was able to eat more than enough. The avocado came not cut into pieces, which was kind of weird, but it was ripe. Overall it was okay, but I'm more than happy to wait another year to go back. read more

I haven't been to Nandos for some time, but was inspired to give the chain another try after the unofficial Yelp event was set up and then I couldn't make it. I took some of the advice to heart and ordered a little differently than I used to and certainly there were some improvements - for example I hadn't tried the peri salted chips before, but having given those a go, I love them. In fact I'd go as far as to say that it was the best thing I ordered on this occasion. Took a little bit to get seated, but we had turned up on mother's day, so that was to be expected. There was only the one customer wearing a full tracksuit with Juicy across the butt who had been taken to lunch by her kids. We weren't clear why we couldn't have the two seat table next to the door but then again we would have probably been cold - but the table came after about five minutes and we got one at the top of the stairs. There isn't really anywhere to queue upstairs which isn't among the tables, but the staff were pretty quick - just I feel for them that they have to wait everything up the stairs rather than having a dumb waiter installed behind the counter direct from the kitchen. read more

On the plus side, myself and some friends went in for lunch. We were seated quickly, and the food arrived very fast. However the trip was spoiled by a child walking past our booth and projectile vomiting across the aisle. Without too much fuss, I communicated to the staff that I'd got vomit on me, and possibly the table and food. I was met with an eye roll and "don't remind me". Instead of being moved, or offered replacement food, we sat in the smell of puke while they wiped and then mopped around us. Not delightful. read more

These photos are from the Nando's in Uxbridge High St. We were sat upstairs directly opposite the soft drink dispenser in a booth. The wall at the far end of our booth was disgusting it was covered in bits of food and shiny and sticky with dried soft drinks that had found its way on the wall! When I told a member of staff named Clare ( tall red head female) she was sarcastic and treated my complaint with disregard! And I took these pictures to post social media and I will be making a complaint to Hillingdons hygiene and cleanliness inspectors and emailing my photos to them! read more

Only go there for deserts as its not Halal what a shame to all local Halal eaters that has to go either Feltham or Hounslow nandos. Other than that sitting area's very comfy and all :) read more

The chicken is a change and the service is very good. I like that this restaurant is located outside of the chimes and faces onto the high street. The peri peri is good, but I would recommend they try to cook their chicken a bit longer. I work close by and I know its midday when I smell them firing up the grill. read more

Potentially one of the best places to eat in uxbridge. I would thoroughly recommend the Peri Peri Chicken to anyone, except for Muslims - unfortunately this branch dosnt do halal meat. Which is a great shame as there is a hue market ready to eat there if only they did serve it. The service there is great though as is the fabulous rustic feel of the interior, just as with any other Nandos, but this one feels more modernised. Price isn't great so you might just want to visit once every now and then. Even if you are a vegetarian, I hear the vege burgers are great. Nicely nestled near the end of the High Street. read more

I love nandos!!!!!!! The PERI PERI Sauce is devine Mmmmmmmmmmm The best chicken ever!! They do the most delicious chicken burgers ever to sit on a plate. Dribbling. The restaurants are all usually really tidy and clean, and the staff are always polite and cherpy, its a really nice place to eat. Nandos is very cose behind Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut in terms of most popular restaurants or food places these days. It offers a great alternative to the regular options when going out without putting a big hole in your wallet. The theme is Mexican with some chains offering Halal chicken. The food is most renowned for its Peri-Peri sauce and flavour. The fries also can be ordered in a peri-peri style which gives it an alternative taste compared to having salt and vinegar like most places. The platter deals are quite good value for money and the food is very tasty. You can opt for a 1/4 or 1/2 chicken with chips, coleslaw, salad etc as side orders. There is not too much variety with drinks but the bottomless soft drink option is pretty good. The service is generally pretty good but as with many places the peak times can be abit annoying as the wait for the food and waiters may be long. read more

I have been to Nandos on many occasions before cinema, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Staff have always been nice and friendly. The bad thing about Nandos in Uxbridge is that it is always very busy especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, you almost always have to wait at least 20mins for a table and you cannot book at Nandos so its a matter of waiting of finding somewhere else. If you have the time to wait then it is worth it as the food is really tasty. read more
